A private, wooded home in Emerald Isle, NC, 5th row from the beach (5 min walk)

Heart of the Sunrise is a spacious, private, oceanside, saltbox home among the trees with three decks near the Point in Emerald Isle. 3-minute nature walk to the beach on a private path from the neighborhood.
Open floor plan on the top floor with a half bath, kitchen with two eat-in islands, dining and living room. Lots of natural light with ceiling to floor windows and an upper deck to take in the tree tops. Kitchen has pots and pans (including a crock pot), two coffee makers (including a Keurig), plates, cups, eating utensils all provided and a dishwasher for convenient clean-up.
On the middle floor - three bedrooms (queen; queen; full and twin), a bonus room (full), and two spacious full bathrooms with two sinks each. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and a jetted tub for soaking and relaxation. Two decks - one in the front and one in the back off the main bedroom. The main bedroom closet has an ironing board and iron for your convenience. Floor to ceiling windows in the bonus room let you observe our local wildlife - deer, turtles, birds. A box fan is also available. Three of the rooms have TVs.
The ground floor has a laundry room with provided laundry detergent and dryer sheets, garage-turned-game-room with a ping pong table and darts, cornhole, bikes and helmets for your use, balls for soccer and volleyball, boogie boards and sand toys for your use, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Firepit in the side yard, a tree swing in the back, and almost half an acre of wooded property to explore around the home. We challenge you to find and visit our fairy houses with windows that glow in the dark!
Note: Our house rules include no loud parties, no pets, and no smoking inside the home. Please treat our home like your own and better.

Awesome location

Perfect place for our family. Clean, excellent beach amenities, easy 3 minute walk to the beach. House was absolutely perfect and would highly recommend to others. Checkin was easy and owner very extremely responsive.This part of Emerald Isle is beautiful, quiet and charming.5 stars!

What a great spot! We planned a really last minute stay and our first at the point. It did not disappoint. The home was great. Had lots of built in activities even with rain all day! The quick access was much better than the long walk we didn’t first day. Home owners and hosts were great. We would 100% stay again.!

Beautiful and Peaceful

The check in process was super smooth and we even were able to check in early! The house was very clean. Having a beautiful path for a short walk to the beach was AMAZING. Biljana checked in on us through text when we got there which was very sweet. House is beautifully located and well kept. Definitely would stay again.

We had a great time

Lovely property, but some of the mattresses were really uncomfortable, and the broken toilet was an irritant. Kitchen is totally not functional if you plan to do much cooking, but for a vacation rental it was adequate.

Spectacular house and location

Our family had a great time as always at Emerald Isle. This house had everything we needed from enjoyable walk to the beach, bikes, beach games etc. The owner worked with us each step of the way and answered any questions we had. Great familty vacation

We had a wonderful time! The house was a great location. It was a short shaded walk to the beach. It was so quiet and relaxing at the house too. We had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We liked that the house had beach chairs and beach cart that we could use. Whenever we texted the owners there was a quick response. The ping pong table provided a fun family game night! We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful private home

We stayed for a family weekend wedding. Biljana was wonderful to work with, it was a plus for us being in the same neighborhood as my parents home. This home is very spacious and private with all the trees. Everyone was comfortable with sleeping. Master shower is great!!! Highly recommend this property. Lots of space in the well equipped kitchen. Loved the wine refrigerator to keep your drinks cold.

Best vacation ever!

This house is amazing! We had such an awesome time! We always saw some kind of wildlife on the wooded trail to the beach. The beach is not crowded. The kids had fun playing darts and ping pong! They have a variety of bikes and helmets! The top deck is amazing you are up with the tops of the trees! They have really comfy deck furniture! The owners are wonderful and accommodating.

Beautiful beach get-away

Biljana is such a lovely host. She was very accomodating and easy to get a hold of, even on short notice. The house is lovely -- very close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for our family with a young child. It had everything we needed to have a cozy stay including plenty of pots and pans for cooking and fun games like ping pong and corn hole. We could have stayed longer than just 3 days and still have plenty to do. The house is also conveniently located not too far away from the aquarium, which is also very fun and kid-friendly. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Family week

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house fit us very well. We had our two young married sons with their wives (one set flying in from Seattle and the other driving up from Chattanooga) and our other two single children. We ate in all our meals and the kitchen and living area served us very well for doing that. The walk to the beach is shaded and the beach is stunning. The four new beach chairs are wonderful... backpack chairs. A week of memories!

Excellent vacation house!

We had a great week staying in heart of the sunrise! The house is beautiful and was perfect for our family of 6. The location near the Point is fabulous. The wooded path to the beach was nice & convenient & we loved all the wildlife we saw each day! The kitchen was well stocked & the house & decks were very clean & comfortable. They also provided a nice beach cart & other beach supplies, as well as bikes, a ping pong table, fire ring, grill, etc. the host, Biljana was very responsive and kind in answering all my questions. I would definitely recommend staying in this house & I can’t wait to go back! One tip
 make sure you read the welcome packet so you know to bring your own sheets & towels, including hand towels for the bathroom! I didn’t think to bring hand towels, so we had to use paper towels & kitchen towels. Other than that, this vacation house was perfect!

Such a fun place to stay! We loved being tucked back in the woods and only a short walk to the beach was perfect for us! In the evenings, we enjoyed ping pong and darts mostly. We also played several games that were provided. It was a great trip to the beach for us!

Great stay!

The house was very clean and was stocked with all the amenities you could need. The walking trail to the beach worked perfectly and provides shade if you’re hauling a lot of stuff. Biljana was amazing to deal with and I would definitely consider booking this place again!

We are a family of five that fell in love with Emerald Isle after vacationing there at the house of some friends. So, we decided to get a beach house of our own so we can enjoy beautiful Emerald Isle more often!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We purchased the home in 2021 because we fell in love with the privacy and trees all around the property, as well as the open floor plan on the top floor, the spacious bathrooms, and enough bedrooms so each of our kids can have their own space.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We have enjoyed doing some updates like adding the breakfast/coffee bar in the dining room, putting in new granite countertops in the kitchen and turning the garage into a game room. We hope you enjoy our home so much that you are inspired to visit more often just like we were!
