Beautiful home

We had a really lovely vacation at this truly beautiful home. The view, decorations and pool are even nicer than the pictures. The location is also great - while the property is up a hill, it affords incredible views of the sea and mountains from multiple terraces. It is also a short walk to the beach - but the hill back is a bit steep. However, a few notes of caution. The house only has one air conditioner in the main living space. While it is strong and does a decent job cooling the house, it does not really cool the bedrooms when its hot and the bedroom doors have to left open for the cooling to get in. There are fans provided in each room but there are no screens on the windows (which appears to be common in Europe). Other than the first day, our weather was not too hot (low 80s) and we left the windows open at night with a fan and other than the first very hot night, we were fine. There are terrific electric metal shades for keeping out the light. Also, while it was not an issue for myself, husband and our 13 year old - the house might be difficult for people with mobility issues. or young children. There is a flight of stairs to get into the house and another to the pool and there are multiple ledges within the house. Again, the house is beautiful and the height allows for great views but these issues did create problems for my mom and aunt in their 70s who ultimately left early so we wanted to share the information. Also, while it may just be the way in France/Corsica. the house only had a 1/2 roll of TP in one bathroom when we arrived and there are no swimming towels provided (but bath towels are). On the other hand, the kitchen was very nicely stocked with cooking supplies and all sorts of basic spices and condiments. We had a few issues during our stay due to a large storm (definitely not the owner's fault) and a mix-up on the tv remotes, and while the owner did not respond to our calls on the first day (a Sunday), all problems were quickly fixed on the following day. All in all, I would recommend this house and would definitely go back.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Aussicht. Liegt auch nahe am Strand. Die Dekoration ist wie auf den Fotos, schön stilvoll eingerichtet. Viele Sitzplätze. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für diesen Preis wären Reparaturen aus unserer Sicht nötig. Kücheneinrichtung müsste erneuert werden. Alte Ware. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit den Vermietern.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique villa. La maison très bien équipée et aménagée avec goût bénéficie d'une superbe vue. Le village et la plage sont accessibles à pied. La propriétaire est réactive en cas de besoin.

Magnifique séjour en Balagne

Très belle villa proche de la mer. Parfait équipement. Salon cuisine immense 4 chambres de bonne taille avec salle de bain. Vue merveilleuse sur la baie d’Algajola. Espace piscine parfait. Propriétaire très sympathique et arrangeante.

La villa est parfaitement bien placée, bien décorée, propre, lumineuse, pratique et tout ça avec une vue exceptionnelle ! La propriétaire est à l'écoute et très joignable, nous a donné des petits conseils pour passer un séjour au top. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa !

Très belle propriété, superbes espaces, mérite parfois quelques petites réparations d'entretien, mais cela ne gâche rien, d'autant plus que la propriétaire est particulièrement attentive à nos demandes.

Traumferien in Korsika

Ein wunderschön eingerichtetes Haus, an guter Lage, ruhig und umgeben von der Natur. Sehr nette Vermieterin, und unkomplizierte Verwaltung. Die vielen, sehr gepflegten und hübschen Aussenbereiche erlauben eine komfortable Nutzung zu jeder Tageszeit. Schöner Pool mit tollem Barbecue- und Essbereich. Algajola und der traumhafte Strand machen das Ganze komplett. Unserer Familie hat es ausgezeichnet gefallen.

Magnifique villa près de la mer avec superbe vue

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa de rêve, avec une très belle vue sur la vallée et la mer. La piscine à l'eau salée est très agréable pour se rafraîchir, l'espace barbecue au gaz est magique. La propriétaire est vraiment gentille et prévenante. A 10 mn à pied ou 5mn en voiture, on peut plonger, louer un vélo, un paddle ... Il y a quelques restaurants sur la plage ... Le tour des villages perchés de Balagne n'est pas loin. Algajola est entre Calvi et l'île Rousse. Une très belle première fois en Corse.

Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil de la part de notre hôte, la maison est très bien située, impeccable et très bien équipée. Excellentes vacances

La villa est superbe avec une vue imprenable sur la baie d'Algajola. Spacieuse, agréable à vivre, à 10 min à pied de la plage (petite côte au retour mais l'effort est vite récompensé avec un saut dans la piscine vue mer), idéalement placée entre Calvi et l'Ile Rousse.... Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette magnifique villa.

Just perfect!

A fabulous place for our family and friends to stay during the week of my sons wedding on Corsica. Flexible accommodation for 10 on one floor and beautifully presented. The pool area is perfect with lots of different seating areas. On the hillside above Algajola with fabulous views across the bay but just a quick walk down into the town. Would highly recommend.

TOPISSIME !

Bonjour, Nous étions 10 amis (30ans) pendant une semaine dans cette villa et elle est tout simplement PARFAITE ! Magnifique, spacieuse, vue spectaculaire, meublée avec beaucoup de goût, très bien placée entre l'Ile Rousse et Calvi, dans un endroit très calme et à 5min à pieds de la plage. De plus, Adriana et son mari sont très réactifs et disponibles en cas de besoin en plus d'être très sympathiques. Nous n'attendons qu'une chose c'est de pouvoir y retourner ! N'hésitez pas une seconde vous allez passer de super vacances ! Loïc

Maison avec vue exceptionnelle

Villa nichée au bout d'un petit chemin étroit et puis là: villa spacieuse, agréable, avec des vues mer de tous les endroits (chambres, terrasses, même dans la piscine). Nous étions nombreux et les différents niveaux et terrasses ont fait que nous avions tous notre espace de vie. Je recommande sincèrement cette villa familiale!

La villa est bien mais pas à la hauteur de notre souhait

Nous sommes arrivés sans aucun Acceuil un dimanche et rien à notre disposition .. eau papier toilette... nous étions 6 adultes et avons trouvé les chambres encombrées de lits d' enfants!! Heureusement qu'il y avait une pièce pour les caser!! Le pool house et le barbecue n' étaient pas propre et des objets et outils jonchaient le sol ( râteau éponge papiers ...) Les salles de bains de 3 chambres sont abîmées et non terminées et le manque d' intimité de l'une d' entre elles nous a gênés. Achevée et mieux soignée cette propriété a beaucoup d' atouts pour en faire un joli lieu de vacances... La pièce à vivre , la chambre parentale sont superbes La vue est splendide L' espace piscine est bien conçue et intime. Donc il y a tout pour en faire un bien de meilleure qualité PS :Une chambre à vue sur un terrain encombré de détritus ( jouets cassés fenêtres démontées parpaings ... Pour information préalablement à la validation de la réservation j' avais appelé madame Martelli en lui précisant nos attentes et nos qualités respectives . Nous avons échangés dès notre arrivée mais sans nous voir car Mme Martelli a été indisponible pendant les 10 jours.

Maison spacieuse, belle vue, bel espace terrasse + piscine

Maison moderne conforme à la description, bien équipée. Belle pièce à vivre. Nombreuses terrasses sur différentes orientations. Proximité de la belle plage d'Algajola accessible à pied. Musiques tardives en provenance des restaurants de plage pouvant gêner l'endormissement.

Stellar property in all respects!

Our eight family members loved everything about this lovely villa: The big front terrace with its spectacular view of the blue-huedTyrennian and nearby mountains, the sparkling pool, the outdoor kitchen with gas grill and adjacent dining area, plus two additional outdoor gathering areas created a perfect outdoor haven. The house itself was ideal: The four bedrooms and three baths offered ample privacy and surrounded a spacious, open living, dining, kitchen area. The house itself is modern as are the furnishings, appliances, and general decor. We loved being just a short walk from the tiny village of Algajola with its lovely sandy beach and its location between the larger beach towns of Calvi and L'Ile-Rousse and also very near accesses to the Route des Artisans.
