No same day check out-check ins, Self Check In and Out, cleaning and disinfecting prior to each guestâs arrival.
Dahlgren Students Welcome! Seasonal Discounts-Sleeps up to 4 adults maximum. Our three-bedroom/one full small, bath room, makes our cottage a great rental, On The Point or peninsula. Our cozy, Original cottage, is just three blocks from the Potomac River and one block from Monroe Bay. Everything in town is accessible by walking, bicycle or golf cart. The public library, boardwalk, town pier, and grocery store are close by. Visit Ingleside Winery, George Washington's Birthplace and Robert E. Lee's Birthplace, Westmoreland and Caledon State Park.
The cottage is completely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked!
Colonial Beach is a golf cart community, which means you can drive your car or a golf cart all around residential streets and golf cart paths. Rentals are available in town. Enjoy walking along the river, lying on the beach, and visiting Ingleside Winery. Enjoy one of the many fine restaurants that Colonial Beach has to offer. Our kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, spices and coffee. High Definition Flat screen TV and washer/dryer have been added. We have a large fenced in backyard and a deck with a table and chairs. Air conditioning throughout the cottage. We have Books and games for adults and children.

Visit the birthplace plantations of President George Washington and General Robert E. Lee and monument of James Monroe. We are less than 2 hours away from Washington, DC, 2 hours from Baltimore, 2.5 hours from VA Beach and 45 minutes from Fredericksburg, VA., 1 hour to Kings Dominion Theme Park. Bring your bikes to ride around town. Westmoreland State Park has some of the best fossil hunting on the east coast! You can also drive to the town of Tappahanock and take the Ferry Boat to Ingleside Winery for a fun excursion! (Includes a bus ride to the winery and lunch)
Colonial Beach now has a large gym, where you can work-out and take classes for a fee. There are so many events happening in Colonial Beach! Check this link to find out what's going on: For more events go to www.colonialbeach. Visit Peddler's Market, an indoor flea market, offering something for everyone. We are 3-5 blocks to several beach areas on the Potomac River. We have a large yard which is perfect for kids to run around!!
