Great place for small family with pets!

Overall very clean and accommodating for a small family with pets. The location is perfect and within a few mins drive to everything. We felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. No complaints!

Family Vacation

The location is perfect! It is less than 5 minutes to Mystic and we were in the area visiting family. Great beach house!

Excellent stay

The host, Tyler, was extremely communicative thru the entire process. The house was very neat with lots of amenities. Great location near beaches and state parks as well as the great town of Mystic. We really enjoyed our stay

Lovely very clean.

The inside was lovely the rooms were clean and plenty of room. Things we wanted to do and see were close to house, just what we were looking for. Check in was easy and communication with host was perfect. Even taking out the garbage and re-cycle with not an issue.

Enjoyed our stay

The home was clean, well maintained and welcoming. Location suited us nicely, as we traveled to Martha’s Vineyard (via fast ferry) and to Essex, Ct. during our stay. Good food and downtown Mystic nearby. The host was very responsive and accommodating.

Great stay!

What a wonderful home. Stayed for a couple days and the house is excellent! We truly enjoyed everything about the house, comfortable beds and couch, nice showers, and everything needed for a wonderful experience. The location is very close to Mystic. Will be back this summer!

Home Away from Home

Tyler was an excellent host, responding quickly to every question we had and providing information about our stay throughout the whole process, booking to checkout. Definitely recommend this house to anyone planning a trip to Mystic.

Perfect Location and House!

The Sunshine House was the perfect place for us (3 adults) to stay for a long weekend. The house was immaculate, having AC was a luxury after warm days of seeing local sights, and was the perfect balance of doing some meals at the house and others out at local establishments. Perfect house!

This house was so cozy, perfect size for our family and packed with everything you could need! The location was fantastic- 5-6 minute drive to all the locations we wanted to visit which allowed us to do more in the day since we could easily go back to the house for the kids to nap or eat. Tyler & Hope were so easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Spot In Old Mystic!

My wife and I stayed here in July/August, and even though the weather was far from perfect, we had a fantastic time in/around the Mystic area. Restaurants and local shops were all great, and the house itself is perfect for a shoreline vacation. Well-appointed, comfortable (especially the bedding which is always hit or miss when traveling!), spacious, and overall an exceptional place to bunk up for a few days. The owner was extremely responsive, and we look forward to staying here again!

Perfect home base for all Mystic has to offer!

We came to town for a dance competition and it was a perfect little home during the week for our family of 4. It’s centrally located so you aren’t far from anything, and of course my kids devoured the snacks left for us on the first day (thank you!). Comfortable beds, and the house came with all the amenities you would need. Surprise bonus was all the tiny little frogs that live in the backyard & entertained my kids for hours.

Great weekend getaway

This was a perfect location for a girls weekend. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals and the dining room table and living room were cozy spots for catching up. We had a rainy stay so we didn't get to use the gazebo or the sun porch but they look great. We loved being a few minutes away from everything.

Amazing stay!

House was clean, perfect layout for me, my fiancĂ© and our 2 pups. There would even be room for another couple or a single person for the downstairs room. Plenty of space, even for the dog crate, mats, bowls. We loved being able to have our dogs with us. They’re well behaved and very attached so we try to take them whenever we can. This house was so perfect. About a 15-20 min drive to Mohegan Sun (where we saw a concert) and 5-10 min to Mystic. We would definitely come back because we didn’t have the time to do all we wanted to do. Super comfortable to stay, and clean! 10/10 would recommend!

Convenient location & good-sized house

The house is clean, well-presented and spacious enough for my family of 4. I love that the office includes a twin bed instead of the sofa seen in the photo so my other child may sleep there comfortably. The kitchen is stocked with necessary items, and I'm grateful for the sugar, coffee, ketchup, mayo, cooking oil, spices and generous treats my kids discovered straight away! Check-in was easy. Tyler provided us as much useful information before we checked in and maintained good communication with us. Appreciate that he came over to shovel the driveway as it snowed the 1st night of our stay. The place is close to many main Mystic attractions, shops and activities that we did as well as restaurants. Overall, a wonderful stay and certainly will recommend the place if you are planning a trip to Mystic.

My wife, Hope and I were born and raised in this area. We have a few vacation homes and we enjoy being able to share our homes with others. I am a full time real estate agent and Hope works in one of the shops in the Mystic Village. We are local and happy to assist with any tips or recommendations for things to do!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This home has been beautifully re-designed and is a great place to vacation, but also has a dedicated office area if you are looking to get some work done. The location puts you a few short minutes away from the historic Olde Mistick Village.
My favorite part about this home is it's convenience to the Mystic River. It is a few hundred feet away from the start of scenic River Road, which is just perfect for any avid runner or biker to enjoy great views. The road starts at the tip of the river and ends in Downtown Mystic!

We are close enough to all of the benefits of the area, but far enough away where you can have time to yourselves and relax!
