Comfy and Convenient

Comfortable, great amenities, and so close to both Black Rock hiking, the lake, wineries, and downtown. It was honestly an amazing place to stay, I'd love to stay again!

Great value 2BR home

Very clean 2BR house in a small rural town. House appeared to be anolder structure that had been nicely refurbished. Furniture and appliances were almost new. Windows and slider onto the deck were good quality double paned. All in all very comfortable.

Great get-away!

This home was very clean when I arrived! I easily found everything I needed and enjoyed some quiet time away from home. Lots of great hiking trails nearby.

Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay and it was close to everything we needed including the snow tubing we planned. Everything was just as listed and my daughter had a wonderful birthday weekend :-)

Thanksgiving 2024

My family enjoyed this perfect little cabin for the week. The house is clean, well appointed, and in a location close to downtown and lots of outdoor hiking. There is a picturesque little church down the hill with lovely chimes during the daytime. The owner is considerate and friendly. I highly recommend this rental and will stay here again when I'm in the Georgia mountains.

Great Host

Doug was an amazing host. Our original rental was out of power due to the hurricane. Doug offered to move us to another one of his rentals. Will definitely be staying again.

Cozy, contemporary cabin in the woods!

This is the perfect place to call home base if you want to explore Clayton County’s beautiful state parks and local attractions. We loved the newly updated interior. The host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Very neat and clean place

Very much enjoyed coming back to Rabun County for a few days…got to spend time hiking and seeing the beautiful mountains including Black Rock Mtn, Tallulah Gorge, and Whiteside Mtn. The house is located just off of 441 in Mountain City, so it is in a convenient location to Clayton and Dillard

Good Spot

My partner and I stayed here for a few days on a hiking trip. The home is located not too far from the main highway and is tucked away close to a couple trailers. The amenities were nice and everything operated as expected. When we arrived, there were a few things that we noticed could have been a bit cleaner. The kitchen is a bit barebones so be prepared to bring items such as coffee and seasonings. Overall it was a good experience.

Comfortable, Convenient Property

Black Rock Mountain Getaway was the perfect place for our Thanksgiving week visit to Clayton, Sky Valley and Highlands. We were just minutes away from friends and family in each of those communities. The house had everything we needed. The host was very quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.
