We fell in love with it and we know you will too! Enjoy waking up to the lakeview and sitting on the deck with your coffee. We will make you feel right at home with a real stone, wood burning fireplace, a fenced yard, an outdoor stone fire pit, and plenty of parking. You can get away from it all during any season of the year and enjoy the comforts and amenities of home. It is perfect for couples and families with children of all ages!
There are 3 Bedrooms. The Master Bedroom Suite has a King bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has Twin Bunk Beds. There are 2 full baths, one with Tub and Shower and the other with Handicapped-Friendly Walk In shower with Seat.
We have many modern conveniences including a brand new microwave, brand new stove, dish-washer, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, 2 Smart TVs, free WiFi, Air conditioning in all rooms in the late spring-summer. Pillows, bedding, linens and bath/kitchen towels are provided. You'll find books and games to use. Bring your corn hole/outdoor games. The yard is plenty big for spreading out! We have a double driveway for off street parking for up to 4+ cars (SUVs) and/or boats/jet skis.
There is a fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals and a Keurig coffee-maker is provided. Sit at the kitchen table or pull up a counter stool.
No large parties allowed. We ask that you treat our home the way you would your own.
You can relax all day in our private, peaceful, friendly community that is right next to 300 acres of woodlands and hiking trails at Shuman's Point Natural Area. Or you can fill your day with fun activities on the lake and in the surrounding areas. Our dock is 400 yards away. In the summer, you can dock your own boat or other toys in our boat slip just a short walk away. In autumn there is beautiful fall foliage to admire on nature walks. There are so many nearby activities you can enjoy: Multiple Nature Sanctuaries, Museums, Health Spas, Waterfalls, Golf, Claws and Paws Wild Animal Park, Costa's Family Fun Center, Horseback Riding, White Water Rafting, Zip Lining, Skiing and Tubing and more. There are also many restaurants and stores nearby, including a full Supermarket, Pharmacy, Health Food Store, Antiques and more.

Nice cabin at Lake Wallenpaupak

We spent a week relaxing at this nice cabin at the lake. While not lakefront the large porch on the front of the home offers some views of the water and is perfect for sitting at in the evening to enjoy the frea air. The fact that the home offers a slip available for your boat is an added plus. The cabin was very comfortable for the five adults in out group plus the master bedroom was a rather nice large. The window ac units were definitely in use the week we were there as the temps were in the upper 80s. The owner Marc was great to work with and very responsive to any questions. We'd definitely stay at this cabin again.

Birthday Getaway

Perfect get away spot

Beautiful house and grounds! We had a fabulous time and felt so comfortable right away. There were even some extras in the house that we didn’t expect that made the stay even better! Highly recommend this awesome lake house❤️

Sunny Point, Sunny Stay

A bright, warm, cozy home for a great stay! We live in the city now and really enjoyed the yard and the fire pit. Walked to the lake and bird watching, made our stay complete. A great way to reconnect with nature and family. Thank You.

Weekend at the Lake

Property was as described, clean and convenient to shopping. The only drawback is the width of the streets around the Sunny Point development, very narrow and tough to maneuver the boat and trailer. Once the boat wa win the water the boat slip was a short walk from the house. Overall we had a great time and would rent again but without the boat.

Great stay at Lake Wallenpaupak

My family had a great time relaxing and boating during our stay. The house was a short walk to the boat slip, making it easy to spend our days on the water. As soon as we opened the door we noticed it was clean and well cared for. Our family of 6 had enough room to be comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and saw many deer walking through the neighborhood. Everything we needed was provided, including comfortable beds and enough linens and towels. I would definitely recommend this home to a family looking for a getaway at Lake Wallenpaupak.

Beautiful lakeview setting

This lakeview home was lovely. It had everything we needed! It was conveniently located near a shared dock in a private community where you could dock your boat or fish off the dock or just jump in the water. The property was very well shaded so we frequently sat on the deck to enjoy this serene lakeview setting. The house was very clean and extremely well stocked with paper products, hand & dish soap for kitchen & hand soap for bathrooms. The Wifi was a plus along with cable & Netflix. The hosts were very helpful and gracious and always responded to my questions in a timely manner. We couldn’t ask for anything more!

The property is impecable! It’s packed with all you can possibly need during vacations. My family and I cooked, watched movies through Netflix, enjoyed the fireplace and played board games. The house has an amazing view from the living room early in the morning. Marc and Dale kindly responded to all our questions promptly. We would love to come back in summer time.

Perfect Family Getaway

This home was perfect for our family of 5 Christmas getaway. The house is cozy but spacious enough to sleep us all comfortably. Had everything we needed to feel at home. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Linens were plenty and included. The lake is beautiful and a welcome site to wake up to. The house was in close proximity for us to ski all day and come home to cook, enjoy the fire and work on the puzzle. The owner is gracious and kind. Overall great experience for us.

Perfect Getaway Spot

We couldn't have been more pleased with our autumn getaway. The property was exactly as described and wonderfully clean and stocked. The decorative touches and cozy throws were much appreciated. And the beds and linens were so comfortable!! If you are looking for a quaint lakeview retreat, look no further.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The walk to the lake is down the road, but it’s a very quick walk and a nice community. The local residents all made us feel welcome and gave us tips to make our stay better. The lake / dock area is very private and we had it to ourselves the majority of the time. The shallow part was perfect for our small kids. There was a great swimming dock and the kids caught a fish there too. If you don’t have a boat, we recommend renting one for a day from Pocono Action Sports. It was easy and tubing was super fun. Lots of things to do: the Stourbridge Train, the Sourin Eagle cycling and Coutts ice cream were our favorites. The house is a simple lake house but we don’t need a lot of frills to relax. Great place to unwind. We enjoyed having two TVs on the rainy day and the TVs are set up for streaming so we had all the entertainment needed. The IPA grocery nearby has everything you need. And the kitchen had every pot or appliance you need to cook. Mostly, this place is nice because it’s a local neighborhood so it’s quiet and away from the touristy hustle and bustle. You can relax and it feels very private.

Awesome lake house

Adorable house, very clean, and well kept. Lake access was just a short walk from the house. Located in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking or bike riding. The house was well stocked with household items and linens. Great communication from Marc the owner.
