Cobwebs and spiders

Cobwebs and spiders everywhere. Master toilet had problems working. Q tips and bugs on master bathroom floor. Bugs in other bathroom as well. Back deck covered in pine needles and no furniture.

Great familqy getaway

Great location and beautiful house. Lots of games and music and multiply entertaining spaces.Our family had the best time. Check in and out was easy, and the host were very easy to get of hold of if needed. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable. Would go back again and again

Great family spot.

Great space, nice mud room to keep the house clean. Lot's of room for cooking and dinner with the family. Very enjoyable and large primary bedroom. Easy access to Donner and other ski resorts. Would definitely stay again!

Fun weekend

We had a nice time at this house. It was great for the kiddos - fooseball, tons of puzzles, books, trains, and more. Definitely a highlight. Cons - the house is not well equipped. Powder shampoo and soap, not enough dishwasher pods, zero laundry detergent, no way to store the food we cooked, etc. Nice to haves, yes, but when they're not there, it's a real bummer. Otherwise, a very comfortable home.

Excellent

My wife and I were very pleased with the cleanliness and how well stocked the house was. The home was very spacious and welcoming throughout. Beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quite. Great location to the town of Truckee, and not far from Lake Tahoe or Donner Lake. Highly recommend!

Spacious comfortable house!

We had a lovely time at this house. It was spacious enough to allow people of different age ranges to spread out. Kitchen well stocked. Reallly close to the local ski resort. The fireplace is indeed loud but you just need to turn down the blower. Also the dishwasher didn’t work. But I’m assuming it broke during our visit and will be fixed. I would definitely come back to this house.

Cozy Cabin

We stayed here with another family and it was perfect size... 2 living spaces -- one for adults and one for kids!! Great location and space. When we did check in the place smelled like cigarette smoke and a few dirty towels were on the ground in the family room?? We opened windows and I bought some air freshner and that seemed to help. Also upon check out, the dishwasher wouldn't start - but it could have been user error! Overall nice place...

Great place for family vacation with small kids

This is the second time we rent this place. It has everything you need for a fun gateway. Two separate living rooms where kids and grownups can enjoy different activities. Great kitchen and dining area as well. Sleeping accommodations well thought. Looking fwd to go there again.

One of the best cabins at Tahoe-Donner Area

I have been renting cabins in Tahoe-Donner area for the last 4 years almost monthly. This cabin by far is one of the best gems we found. SUPER KIDS FRIENDLY - GREAT KITCHEN/DINING AREA - VERY COMFORTABLE RELAXATION AREA - The owners have mastered all possible details in the house. Very clean. Great value for the money. Will definitely rent again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Snow days in Truckee

The place visually looks great but a few things where not working : Fan in fireplace- so loud and grinding we were scared to use it. Keypad with the code was locked so we couldn’t access that way. Thank goodness the cleaning crew was there when we arrived so they let us in when they were done. The internet didn’t work because we were emailed the wrong network and password. Figured out when the Vacasa representative arrived to figure it out No internet for 1/2 of our stay. The shower head in the master bathroom is broken. I was offered a one day credit from the Vacasa rep but have not seen anything reimbursed yet. These are basic things that really should not have happened if the property was checked before we arrived. Just disappointed because I expected a little bit more from our weekend stay.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Great location, roomy and spacious for our two families with kids. Bunk room was great, laundry and spacious kitchen with everything we needed! Couple of requests for future renters: -fireplace insert didn’t work. Instead it made a loud buzzing noise. -the kids took a bath in the master bath tub and enjoyed the jets. Only issue is it’s started to leak downstairs through the pine ceiling. -master bath sink drain not draining properly. -Bunk beds are a little wobbly. Kids loved the bunks but they rattle and shake making it loud and a little sketchy. -beds could be updated in the other two bedrooms, a little saggy in the middle. Hopefully the property managers look into these small issues to make this a perfect rental space!

Great family house close to fun

We loved the location and all of the amenities offered in close proximity. Plenty of fun and relaxing things to do at the house that kept everyone entertained. The house was more than big enough for 7 of us. The private beach was perfect but be prepared to spend 16 dollars a person to get in. Overall a great stay and would go back!
