Discover a true haven of peace at Chalet Ananda. Chalet with private access, including a descent for people with reduced mobility, opening onto a private terrace with views of the village and nature.
The chalet is 10 minutes by car from the center of Chamonix and 5 minutes from the Flégère cable car, the Praz golf course and the Grands Montets golf course in Argentière.
Two hotels with their respective restaurants are just a 5-minute walk away.

Welcome to our refined chalet, located 10 minutes from Chamonix, the ideal place for your rest.

Room details:

Chambre Vidal: you'll find two single beds that can easily be transformed into a king-size double bed, equipped with a remote control for leg and back positioning. An adjoining bathroom features a thalasso bathtub.

Chambre Klein: identical to chambre Vidal, with access to the Chalet terrace and a shower room with shower and washbasin.

Chambre Popelin: this room has a single king-size double bed.

Our chalet is also equipped with a sauna, shower, washbasin and two separate WCs.

Chalet Ananda is located at the top of Le Lavancher on the edge of the forest, facing the Aiguilles and Mont Blanc ranges.

Depending on the size of your car(s), one or two can be parked at the top of the steps leading to your apartment.

A code box allows you to retrieve your keys in the event of late arrival.

For any technical problems, a janitor responsible for the chalet's maintenance will be the only person authorized to solve any problems that may arise and operate the washing machine and tumble dryer.

The owner, or someone he trusts, will be there to welcome you.

The accommodation is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

BEWARE

Prior to the trip, communication was excellent. However we wished to check in at 3pm and were unable to reach anyone to check in despite calling and leaving multiple messages. We were able to check in a 6pm. Having a car to get to this location is a must as it is remote and walking from the train is not possible. Upon check-in it became clear that the property was the basement of the owner’s home. It did have a separate entrance. The host spoke only Italian and provided instructions for the VRBO in Italian only which created many challenges. Many of the features advertised did not work or were very difficult to work - espresso machine did not have all parts, jacuzzi was poorly functioning, oven did not work. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. As the owner of the chateau lived upstairs we were privy to loud conversations and parties. The worst part of this stay was on the last night when the owners had a domestic dispute so loud and violent we nearly called the police and were concerned for our own safety. We are requesting a refund for this property and will be reporting to VRBO. For the reminder of our trip, we cancelled any stays through VRBO.
