Kahana Sunset är en anläggning vid havet med 72 lågbyggda enheter på den lugna Keone Nui-stranden där, ofta, de enda fotspåren du ser är dina egna. Sanden är orörda, sköldpaddorna och tropiska fiskarna är rikliga, och vågorna är familjevänliga ~ vare sig det är lugnt och skonsamt för snorkling eller med uppsättningar vågor som rullar in, perfekt för kroppsurfarare i familjen. Varje dag ger en ny strandupplevelse.

Vårt 1100 kvadratmeter stora hem är 150 meter från stranden. Det har vackert och totalrenoverats. Vi skapade ett rymligt vardagsrum, matsal, kök och pulverrum på den lägre nivån. På övervåningen är sovrummet med en fantastisk utsikt från Lanai och ett gäst sovrum. Båda har ombyggda badrum med rymliga duschar. Vårt hem är vackert inredda i en smakfull, diskret tropisk inredning.

Precis innanför dörren hittar du en anpassad "cubby credenza" med en bambukorg "cubby" för varje familjemedlem. Det är den perfekta platsen att lägga in din handduk, nycklar, mobiltelefon och strandväska! Gourmetköket med sin rymliga granithalvö är välutrustat med allt du behöver när du bestämmer dig för att äta i. Du hittar plattskärms-HD-TV-apparater i alla rum med ett Bose-vägg-högtalarsystem och dockning för din iPhone i nöjescentret. Gratis wifi. Från den lägre nivån Lanai har du en fantastisk utsikt över havet och trädgårdarna.
Vi håller vårt hem mycket rent och i toppskick. Under 2016 satte vi in ett nytt kylskåp och helt renoverade - nya barstolar, alla nya klädsel och nya madrasser.

Vid solnedgången samlas alla på stranden för att titta på de mest spektakulära solnedgångarna på Maui. Efter solnedgången är grillarna platsen att vara ~ med gäster som delar favoritrecept, restauranger och öaktiviteter.

Kahana Sunset är en speciell plats där din familj kan dela tid tillsammans, få nya vänner och skapa vårdade minnen. De flesta av våra gäster kommer tillbaka till vårt paradis år efter år. Vi hoppas att du också kommer!

A great area

Overall great but guest bedroom AC wasnt working so was abit uncomfortable the whole time. Someone came and fixed it once but still didnt work

Great Place, Property Management Company Needs Work

The condo is a 10/10 experience and the location could not be better. We have stayed at Kahana Sunset condos before, but this was the most updated and cleanest one yet. We loved seeing turtles daily.Our complaint lies with iTrip Maui (not the condo owner), who be mostly unresponsive to this day. From check-in to check out (6 nights), we were only able to speak with a rep from there twice after calling their office multiple times per day. Both the master bedroom shower and the fridge/freezer were broken the entire stay and iTrip was unresponsive to help. Eventually, on day 3 of our stay, they provided a mini fridge to supplement the loss of the unit one and let us know they would not be fixing the shower at all.With part of the reason for renting a condo being the ability to make our own meals, no fridge/freezer use for three days set us back on meals and on spoiled groceries that went bad before we realized the fridge was broken. iTrip has said they will be refunding us for some of the costs of the trip, but we have yet to see any communication on what it is and when it will be refunded. Overall, a lovely place and would recommend the unit to others, but iTrip Maui needs to be more responsive and communicative with renters.

Great place to stay with kids

We had a wonderful time staying at Kahana Sunset. Loved hearing the waves crash from the bedroom and seeing views of the sunsets from the lanai. Beds were very comfortable for our family of four. The pool was perfect and the grounds staff were all so friendly. We hope to be back !

A Wonderful Place in Paradise

Check in was easy as we arrived very late at night. The condo was clean and ready for us. The views from both lanais was amazing. Watched the whales from the lanai. We enjoyed many breakfasts and suppers on the lanai. The close proximity of the bbq's made supper an easy task.The kitchen was well equipped for our use. Maybe the only thing missing was a cookie sheet or tray to carry our food on to the bbq's. Other than that it was perfect for our needs.The beds were comfy. Even the hide-a-bed in the living room. Bathrooms were well equipped with lots of towels and beach towels for us to use. Overall, I would recommend staying here. Other than a problem with one of the air conditioners, which was resolved quickly, the unit is ideal for a family of any size and age with spectacular views. Thank you for allowing us to spend our short time in paradise.

Great stay

We had a great stay as a family of 5! The location was great- and the property was quiet given it was over Thanksgiving week. The property had almost everything we needed to make ourselves and home and we had plenty of room to spread out. The host was awesome and quick to respond with any questions we had! We will definitely book again!

Unit was very clean with new amenities. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The only thing missing was a griddle pan and If I would have found one at the Napili Market, it would have had one. Everything else was there without want.

Wonderful Experience at Kahana Sunset B2

Our family had the best time at Kahana Sunset and were especially impressed with our stay in B2. We traveled with two other families who stayed in other B units, so we had good points of comparison and were so glad we chose B2! It had a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, great showers and a surprising amount of separation between bedrooms! Our two young daughters loved eating at the kitchen peninsula every morning and being close proximity to the pool was a huge win for them. We loved all the features at Kahana Sunset as well—very clean, family friendly & peaceful. Loved all of our sunset dinners with our friends & with the Kahana Sunset community that came out each night also. The only small negatives for us were the AC (you really have to stay on top of turning on the unit in the primary bedroom & living room, otherwise it can be a little warm) and the oven, which is *very* small, and cooks quite unevenly, so don’t plan on making baked goods the center of any meal! But neither of those things would give us pause in saying that this place is *fantastic* and we will definitely be returning to B2!

Perfect Home Away From Home

Perfect home away from home. We had everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen or down at the bbq. Relaxing, reading and having our morning coffee or evening cocktails on either balcony was amazing. The sounds of the ocean from our master suite was a true joy. This was our 4th time staying at Kahana Sunset and can easily say this has been our favorite unit.

Sweet Spot

Property was just as advertised. Great location for jumping to other beaches. Tons of turtles within 50 yards of condo beach. Would stay again for sure.

Great location especially the private beach. Unit is updated and well appointed particularly the kitchen. Beds very comfortable. There was an issue with AC but quickly resolved by management company.

A little bit of everything in all the best ways

Kahana Sunset B2 helps provide a vacation with something for everyone. Just a short drive to Kaanapali and Kapalua but with a private, quiet beach. The unit was well-appointed with plenty of supplies for staying in and enjoying the view from the deck, but with plenty of eating options nearby as well. The space was comfortable, clean, and well loved. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

GREAT!

Wonderful place to stay. Close walking distance to the grocery store and a farmers market on Wed/Sat. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. Overall place and grounds were clean and well kept. We had our kids and they loved the pool and beach. We wish a boogie board or beach toys would have been made available. The washer and dryer were a bit small but still very nice to have them in the unit for small loads. We would recommend this to others!

Nice Unit Overall

We really enjoyed this condo. It was well stocked and had some very nice upgrades. The property was great, and having the small beach was a huge plus. The only issue we had was the AC units. They are all on pre-set timers and had no temperature adjustability. Unfortunately, they didn’t work very well in cooling the unit so we ended up just opening the windows at night.

Very nice place, but some things you should know about

While the unit is very nice, and well stocked, we did have several problems, especially with the management company. The owner does not tell you in the listing that the A/C is restricted, the temp settings cannot be changed, & the units are on timers. The upstairs master bed unit has major problems, it was leaking water down the wall, called the management company, they said they would send an A/C company out, it still didn't work & water was still running down the wall. When I called them to ask if it was serviced, she couldn't tell me, said she would call me back shortly, never returned my call. Got an email saying they sent me the entry codes, we did not receive, called mgt co, sent them again, I did not receive, call mgt co again, she said she was sending the codes to the owner, not me, totally irresponsible. I sent an email to the owner to notify him of the A/C problems & the problems with the mgt co, he responded it was highly unusual, and did not even respond about the A/C unit not working, or why we couldn't change the temp & why they were on timers. The weather was extremely warm a few days, in the mid 80"s with 95% humidity, & the upstairs A/C barely functioned. So, if you stay in this unit in the hot summer months, you will roast. The day we arrived, the sink in the kitchen did not drain, turned on the disposal, it would not turn on, jammed with plastic. Both mgt company & owner seemed not to care about any of the concerns I made them aware of.

Nicely updated unit

This unit worked perfectly for our family of 4 adults and an infant. It was nice to be able to see both the pool and the ocean from our decks, and the unit was nicely updated and adequately equipped.

Great family condo. Great condo complex, very well maintained.

The two bedroom condo was set up well for our family of five. We used the master bedroom for grandparents and 2nd bedroom for adult couple and a 9 year old. We cooked most meals here with the fully equipped kitchen providing everything we needed - and the meals on the lanai, looking through the palm trees to the ocean were just what we hoped for. Beautiful! We did experience one issue though. The 2nd bedroom A/C was often not working and with 85 degree weather, the room at night was very uncomfortable. We contacted the management who sent a young man who explained how the A/C operated. No help though & no A/C. Two days later management sent an A/C tech who worked on the unit so that we eventually had the A/C for three of the eight nights. Little air moves through the back bedroom so nights were very hot without A/C. We had a fabulous vacation here and would definitely rent the condo again.

The Campbells are from Colorado. We are empty-nesters now. but our kids have been coming to Kahana Sunset with us for more than thirty years. They still do! Our granddaughter now swims in the pool just as our daughter did. We love the outdoors, camping, golfing, and the ocean. Kahana Sunset is the perfect place for us to relax and renew.

Both families share a love of time with our kids, the outdoors, sports, and the island of Maui!
