Oceanfront on tidal inlet with great unobstructed views - 180 degrees of changing tides, migratory wildfowl, sunsets, the marsh and the downtown Boston skyline. Adjoins protected marsh nature preserve with walking trail. Five minutes walk to beach. Five minutes drive to 4 mile long sand beach. Quick easy drive or subway to downtown, hospitals and universities. 15 minutes to Logan airport. Quiet residential dead-end street in a safe long-established neighborhood. Private heated garage and driveway parking for up to seven cars. Easy keypad self check-in.
Our home is perfect for families and work groups able to work remotely or an easy commute to downtown, hospitals and universities, and to the North Shore. It combines the best of the spaciousness and amenities of a modern home with easy proximity to the ocean, beaches and nature, and convenient easy proximity to downtown Boston and tourist sights. Ours is a three floor open floor plan home of 4000 sq ft built in 2003. There are four bedrooms, two of which have private ensuite bathrooms, including an oversize cathedral ceiling master bedroom with sitting area. Families will enjoy cooking and entertaining in the fully equipped designer gourmet kitchen with 6 element Electrolux cooktop, Thermador double oven, SubZero refrigerator and separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher, warming oven, disposal and island seating for five. The adjoining dining table area seats eight. The sunken open plan living room features a Yamaha concert grand piano (signed by Elton John), seating for 10 by a gas fireplace, and a high-end sound system. The home features a wifi linked 70 inch smart TV with a 1000+ DVD collection. Gas heat for two zones - radiant in-floor for the downstairs living room and kitchen, forced hot air for the bedroom and family room floors. Central air - two zones and two compressors. Whole house wifi and cable internet. There is an extensive third floor library of adult and children's books and a large family room/playroom/TV room with lots of children's toys, games, and stuffed animals, appropriate for toddlers and up to about age 13. Enjoy the views from the bi-level rear waterfront patio - perfect for outdoor dining and lounging. Three of the bedrooms, all common areas and the outdoor patio and lawn all have panoramic foreground views of the ocean inlet and marsh through the changing seasons with the downtown Boston skyline beyond. Two car attached indoor heated garage, with on-premises additional driveway parking for 3-5 more cars. . Owners will reserve one locked closet and one room for storage of owner's possessions.
No pets strongly preferred but may be negotiable for extra fee. No smoking or drugs, including but not limited to cigarettes, tobacco products, e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana even if legalized, illegal drugs or controlled substances. Extra guests beyond eight only considered with express consent of host, at rate of extra payment of $25 per person per night. No large or noisy parties since the home is in a quiet residential area. Guests must observe all Massachusetts and Revere health and safety laws, regulations and ordinances.
STRONG PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO LONGER TEMPORARY STAYS OF AT LEAST THREE MONTHS. LONGER WILL BE PREFERRED (4-8 MONTHS)
Because this is a longer term rental for 31 nights or more, it is not subject to the short-term rental laws of Massachusetts or the City of Revere. That includes the Massachusetts 5.7% lodging excise tax on short term rentals and the 6% Revere lodging excise tax on short term rentals. HOW LONG YOU STAY IS UP TO YOU AS LONG AS YOU BOOK 31+ NIGHTS. Therefore no lodging excise taxes should be collected by VRBO, Homeaway or its affiliated websites. Please contact me directly if your price includes such taxes and we will work with the rental platform to remove these charges.
A $800 cleaning fee is added to this booking. Your booking platform will also charge a damage insurance fee of $59 unless you wish to pay the platform upon booking a refundable damage deposit of up to $1500. This charge covers repair and replacement of damaged items, furniture, fixtures etc as well as cleaning to remove stains and spills from upholstery and carpets to attempt to reduce replacement costs. We will be happy to provide to you an email itemization of these costs.

We are a couple with ties to greater Boston since 1967 and spend time among Boston, New Hampshire mountains, Utah and Normandy, France. We are avid classical music lovers and much appreciate the sound system and Yamaha concert grand piano in our Revere home.

Spaciousness (4000 sq ft with 4 bedrooms). Modernity (built 2003) but comfortable. Great views of waterfront, tidal marsh, sunsets, wildlife, Boston skyline all at once. Privacy at end of dead-end street.
