Dora Splash Pad

Relax in this spacious 3-2 POOL home! Lots of room for the whole family! Stainless steel appliances, pot and pans, silverware, and coffee maker. Large TV in the living room and private tv’s in each bedroom. The master bed room has a private bath with shower, large closet, and a King size bed. The second bedroom had a King size bed as well, large closet and a shared bath. The third bedroom had a full size bed, and a bunk bed with a large closet and shared bath. The shared bath has a double sink and a tub/shower. The extra family room has a futon pull out for extra sleeping accommodations . Arcade games located in the extra family room and a air hockey game in the garage for the kids. Washer and dryer available in the garage. Screened in pool and gated backyard for your private shaded backyard oasis. Back yard is enclosed, and we have extra boat and trailer parking on the left side of the front of the home. 1 mile from all that Mount Dora has to offer. Whimsical boutiques, antique shops, outdoor cafes, parks, and our close access to the full chain of lakes. Mt Dora is only 45 minutes from Lake Buena Vista (Disney and Epcot), Universal Studios Florida and its Islands of Adventure and CityWalk dining/shopping/nightlife triumvirate; plus SeaWorld Orlando, accompanied by Discovery Cove and Aquatica water park. But don’t let the turnstiles box you in. International Drive, Pointe Orlando and the Mall at Millennia has tons of shopping, dining and entertainment. Spreading from downtown, trendy neighborhoods like Thornton Park and South Eola with original eateries and nightlife nooks.
Race fans: Daytona Beach is only an 1 1/2 hour drive. Daytona International Speedway and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America are a great destination. Come during the Daytona 500 or spring family beach break and enjoy Daytona Beach’s swimming, and surfing. Since 1996, the World's Largest FREE 3-Day Motorcycle and Music Event is held in Historic Downtown Leesburg which is a few miles away! The Leesburg Bike Fest is be packed with live entertainment, demonstrations, shows and contests. Hundreds of friendly retail shops and vendors will be open for your shopping pleasures. Another exciting town, only minutes away, is Tavares. The Tavares Seaplane Base & Marina is a seaplane airport and recreational boating marina located on the Lake Dora waterfront in the heart of Wooton Park, which offers a water park for the little ones and lots of waterfront restaurants while watching the sea planes take off! This is only a small sample of what Florida has to offer. With all our water ways, boating and fishing is close by. Our home is located a few walkable blocks from a walking path around one of our lakes for a breezy afternoon stroll. We supply the home with a Pack and Play and one car seat for families with some ones.

Girls weekend spent in the pool, walking to downtown Mount Dora. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The home was spacious and cute.

Great place to stay!

Wonderful location very central to everything Mount Dora has to offer. Owner was attentive but not overbearing. Pool was a lovely addition and a must have in the summer.

Mt. Dora Fishing Tournament Retreat

There was plenty of comfortable space in the home and we enjoyed our stay while attending the BASSMASTER Junior Series tournament on the Harris Chain of Lakes. The property owner was very responsive through the entire process from booking to check out. Thank you!

Excellent for family gathering

This house was perfect for our extended family. Lots of activities to keep everyone entertained including arcade games and a pool. The owners were very welcoming and supplied additional baby items for our 8 months old granddaughter. We would definitely stay here if we are in the area again.

Splash Pad/Mt. Dora Terrific!

Our stay was tremendous. We were there during the annual Mt. Dora festival so the city was full of activity. We loved the house! It was decorated wonderfully and on theme of a splash pad throughout. It was located very conveniently to all anyone could want or need in that part of Florida. We plan to stay there again on our next trip.

Pool Home Close to Everything!!

Great property! Very clean, spacious, perfect for a family. The host communicated well and even accommodated our request for a later checkout due to our scheduling needs (I’m sure this isn’t always possible, but the host obviously wants to help her guests out when she can) The home is very conveniently located to shops & restaurants - all of which were just adorable. The pool and outside dining table were so enjoyable, and the backyard landscape really made the property very private and peaceful. Exceptional in every way!!

Great to be home.

The trip home was wonderful. Very convenient location so that we could visit and check out all of our favorite spots! The owner is very responsive and was kind enough to send over pool floats for the kiddos. We appreciate the hospitality. Nice to know Eustis, Mt.Dora and our little hometown is still as wonderful as we remembered.

Loved the Mount Dora Splash Pad!!

My family really enjoyed our stay at The Splash Pad. It’s a gorgeous home and well-stocked with everything that’s needed. My husband and two sons loved playing the games on the arcade machine and the air hockey table. We all enjoyed relaxing in the pool. There are many tasty restaurants nearby. We visited downtown Mount Dora and perused some shops and looked inside the historic Lakeside Inn, took a sunset cruise with Rusty Anchor tour boats, and road the paddle wheel boat in nearby Tavares. We made some wonderful memories and were so happy with our stay at The Splash Pad in Mount Dora.

Relaxation at its finest

Brenda is a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything that we needed. The house is decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We were there to visit our grandchildren and were able to have them over for a pool party. The house, the yard and the pool are very well kept. Housekeeping does a very good job. The house is convenient to the the old downtown part of Mount Dora which is very nice and has a lot of nice little shops. It is also convenient to grocery shopping and other needs. Our plan is to stay there again in about 6 months when we return for another grandkids visit.

We stayed during the summer of 2025 and it was a great place to stay! The place was super clean, and as described in all the pics. The AC went out the first day we were there but Brenda and Ray were on top of things and had a repair guy our right away to fix the issue! Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

We had an amazing stay! The highlight for our family was definitely the enclosed pool. We spent hours out there every day!Communication with the owner was top-notch. They were responsive, helpful, and provided clear instructions for everything. You can tell they really care about making guests feel welcome.And if you're traveling with kids (or kids-at-heart), the arcade games are a total win. The classic games that brought back serious nostalgia. We would absolutely come back again — highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a fun, relaxing stay with great amenities and plenty of space.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Our home is shaded by trees in the back yard, which keeps the pool and patio bearable in our Florida heat. The pool in screened so no mosquitos to ruin your patio dinner. The home is surprisingly large and open. Great for families!
