This is not a typical short-term rental; it is not a renovated dependency or a newly constructed unit in an old neighborhood, nor is it situated on a tiny lot in a questionable or remote area. The old hardwood floors, tall ceilings, original moldings, plasterwork, windows and doors exude a special warmth, character, and charm that that is very difficult to achieve in new construction. The exterior copper roof and guttering provide additional warmth and character. This is the real deal!

Special Amenity: The Wonderer
We partner with The Wonderer, a private membership club in downtown Charleston;
It is located 2.6 miles from the property. A shuttle bus ( stop located one block away)
is available at a cost. Groups of 8 or more are required to rent a Cabana (extra charge)
The club features an Olympic sized swimming pool, gym, spa, two bars, restaurant, private or
shared workspaces. This adult club is open to guests 25 and older

due to issues with The Wonderer. Prior to your arrival, you will receive an email with booking information. Availability is not guaranteed, so we suggest booking in advance.

House Rules:
- No parties or events without written approval
- No amplified music.
- No smoking inside.
- Pets allowed with prior written approval ($200 non-refundable fee)
- Quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM – Be respectful of neighbors.
- Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 10:00 AM.
- Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.
- Any decorations must be secured using painter’s tape only to avoid damage to walls.
- Guests must follow trash disposal instructions provided by the host.
- Please return all items and furniture to their original locations.
- The Wonderer access must be booked in advance – no refunds for availability issues.
