Kawau Lodge is located in North Cove, in a serene waterfront setting nestled amongst stunning tropical landscaped gardens and native bush. The lodge has its own jetty and access to the water.
Relaxing private venue with native bird life (including kiwi), Kawau Lodge is a paradise that invites a wonderful combination of relaxation and a diverse range of activities.
The retreat boasts 8 luxury rooms (7 rooms with super king beds which can be split into king singles and 1 twin single bedroom) sleeping 16. All king rooms afford fantastic views of beautiful North Cove and surrounds, Also includes a large, well equipped private kitchen with commercial grade Nespresso coffee machine and well appointed lounge room with wood fire to keep you cosy and warm during those cooler months. The outdoor dining areas are situated to optimise the spectacular views from the lodge's wrap around deck areas. All whilst providing a wonderful range of water activities, hikes and relaxation for your special getaway.
The property has been completely renovated since 2016 and now includes conference/movie facilities, outdoor lounge spaces, an events area, its own jetty and a cabana. There are a wide range of activities available, including row boats, kayaking, fishing and swimming, paddle-boarding and hiking.
The retreat is nestled into acres of beautiful green space that includes tropical landscaped gardens. Catering can be provided by yourself, or be arranged with Nebalicas caterers in Warkworth who will ship it to you via Kawau Cruises. 8 bedrooms with Harbor view, private lounge room, private kitchen. Is perfect for family, friends meeting, celebration. Modern kitchen has everything necessary for cooking and heating food.
Only 30 minutes from Sandspit wharf by water taxi. Has own mooring

Fabulous night away to celebrate

Kawau Lodge is just like the pictures and more! The island doesn't fail to disappoint. Magical views from the property even with the rain and wind we experienced coming to Kawau the lodge is very sheltered. The house has everything you need to cater for all guests and the property manager and caretaker went above and beyond to answer all my question and make it a perfect night away celebrating with friends. We had x15 adults in our group and all had a great night, linen and comfort of beds 5 star. The fire place stocked with lots of wood, out door heaters were so appreciated for the cooler time of the year. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable experience we will most definitely be back as need to stay more than 1 night.

Slice of paradise

This is an amazing place, from the moment you arrive you will feel calm and relaxed. The views are breathtaking and the rooms are excellent. The kids loved fishing off the wharf and kayaking. We will definitely be back!!!
