Amazing 1/2 acre lakefront 3-bedroom cottage, completely remodeled on the desirable, Camden side of Lake Wateree!

Outstanding water views from your covered porch, complete with your ownfire pit, gas grill and shared dock. 3-bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen, everything you need for your lake-cation.

Comes with use of two 1-person kayak (maybe more as we own the 3 cabins next door, each with their own water toys).

Pet fee is $75 (please message in advance if you intend to bring more than one dog).

EDUCATION TIME!

Why is the sunset side important? For the evening sunsets! You are literally not prepared for the colors of our sunsets over the lake.

Why are a lake's coves most desirable? Way less noise, less traffic, less boats, easy swimming, safety, more birdlife and quieter, calmer water. The coves are sought after. Pro Tip: Savvy lake renters know to seek out the coves!

Our lake is typically a beach-entry type lake. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask).

LOCATION: Located in Camden, SC on beautiful Lake Wateree (less than 1/2 mile to Clearwater Marina located at 2029 Baron Dekalb Rd, Camden SC for our roundabout location). Only 12 minutes to downtown Camden, to Wal-Mart, Starbucks & Chic-fil-a! The Charlotte airport is 1.5 hours and Columbia, SC is only 45 minutes away. Also, less than 5 minutes to a Dollar General (a very good one) that will have what you forgot! Yes, we have upscale restaurants nearby and yes we are near the South Carolina Equine Park facility in Camden and HOTH Ranch (their visitors stay with us often!)

Huge deck overlooking the lake. Easy road access, boat ramp is only a driveway over and room for your trailer. Shared dock for your boat (we have three docks in the cove, sharing is rarely an issue).

nice location

The house was perfect in location and the property manager was very helpful when we requested additional paper towels and TP. We checked early and the cleaner wasn't finished, but was very nice. If you bring a boat, be aware that it is difficult to turn around and back your boat in. There is a private ramp very close which was very nice to use.

Adorable, great location, perfect rental!

I cannot say enough nice things about this cute house! There is tons of space and privacy, a beautiful dock in the best cove on the lake, absolutely adorable interior and a GREAT back porch with a view of Lake Wateree. We are already picking dates for our next trip. The owners and the rental manager are so nice and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful Memorial Day week!!! We can’t wait to come back! Plenty of room for a crowd!!!

Pet-Friendly Go To

Nice little cabin…our new “go to” now that we have a pooch in the family. It is small but the space is used well, there’s been some nice remodeling and everything works as it should. Great new dock so it was super easy to use our boat. The fire pit and 2 kayaks were also nice to have & use. Not negatives but a couple of things worth mentioning for future guests. First, if you plan to trailer a boat down, we would advise taking it to landing first and NOT down to the cabin. Turning around was not an easy process even with our modest 18’ foot boat. Second, there are cameras around the outside of the house. We understand the “why” of that but did not recall seeing it in the listing so it took a bit of getting used to. We’ll definitely consider staying again and would absolutely recommend it.

Beautiful View!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The house is newly remodeled and was suitable for my dad, brother, and niece and myself and husband. Mostly flat yard made the dock easily accessible for my dad.

Loved this rental! Would be great for a family stay or a girls getaway. Loved that I could bring my dogs, the owner was very accommodating about me bringing my larger dog.

Wonderful Lake home

This nicely decorated lake home felt like home everything that you could need for a nice family vacation. I was pleasently surprised at the decor and cleanliness of this home and it was fully stocked with all of the essentials the sunsets were amazing!

Weekend trip

Just returned home from a long weekend at Lake Wateree. This cottage was perfect for our familyof 3, it was just as described. The home was nicely renovated, beds were comfortable.We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the lake. Fishing was great off the dock, my son was out there all day catching catfish and bream. The location was quiet, perfect for floating on inner tubes. We're already planning to stay again this fall

We had the absolute best time here! 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths comfortably accommodated our 8 guests. Kayaks for use out back and we rented a pontoon from the marina to use during our stay. Super fun trip! Will def be back!

I cant say enough good stuff about this property. The house was perfect and so clean. The property, house, and lake view are beautiful. The landing is right around the corner from the house which was so convenient. We will definitely go back again.

Great Location and beautiful views!

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything you need and the owner is super responsive! The back porch is amazing with wonderful views of the lake. The Boat dock and boat ramp are a plus! This cottage is conveniently located to restaurants, stores and easy access to Camden. We will definitely stay here again!

The BEST! SO clean and beautiful decorating!

We stayed here for part of the week when my son was graduating from USC. We all had such a great time! The home is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. Even my son's college friends commented on how nice it was and asked us how we found such a great place! Do not hesitate to stay here, it is 100% worth it. Very will stocked kitchen with all that you will need. Also, a large driveway that was great for our friends to park. We rented a pontoon and jet skis and some of us sat on the beautiful porch while the college kids had a great time! The location is beautiful too, it is located in a small cove/bay and was perfect for swimming, kayaking, etc. I could not recommend this property any more. Just fabulous!

Book it!

We just returned from our 5 night stay. We had such a wonderful time! This property is exactly as pictured, simple and perfect. We enjoyed each morning sipping coffee on the deck. We had a blast fishing at the lake which is only a few short steps away. If you are looking for a cute, comfortable, peaceful place to stay on the lake -look no further!!
