It only takes a few minutes to walk to Eagle Lodge and its chairlift from this spacious, light-filled home of three levels totaling 3800 square feet.

Inside on the second level, there's a dining room that comfortably seats ten with a fireplace on one side and sliding doors leading to a deck on the other. And a grand main living area with soaring ceilings and huge windows that let in the sun (which even in mid-winter provides a satisfying midday warmth).

The modern chef’s kitchen has a large center island that seats three and offers everything you need to easily prepare a meal from home after a long day skiing (including a double oven).

A large, light filled main bedroom with fireplace, en suite bath with over-sized soaking tub, separate shower, double vanity and its own soaring ceiling round out this level.

The downstairs bedrooms include a king with an additional sleeper sofa and an OLED flatscreen tv. Another bedroom with a queen and twin. The fourth bedroom is the bunk room, perfect for kids with three twin beds, and one double bed. The upper bunks are accessed by a ladder (There are certain risks associated with using a bunk bed and bunk bed ladder, and guests agree that use is at their own risk.)

Also downstairs is a large, indoor spa and adjacent sauna. As well as a foyer area to get in and out of ski clothes.

The third level is a loft with a table for games and play, a hanging chair and a daybed. Amazing views too from the wraparound windows.

There's also a three car attached garage and a covered porch with ski rack.

Mammoth Lakes is the perfect vacation spot for any season. In the winter, you will have world class skiing right out your door--and Mammoth consistently has longest ski season in the US. During the rest of the year, the mountain turns into a mountain bike park with adventure center (kid friendly zip lines, ropes course, bungie jumping, rock wall)--and the fishing, hiking (to gorgeous lakes), rock climbing, golfing, tennis and swimming are unparalleled.

The entrance to Yosemite National Park and Tuolumne Meadows is 30 minutes drive. The John Muir and Ansel Adams Wilderness Areas, Mammoth Lakes Basin, Red's Meadow, Mono Lake and the Owen's River (a fly-fishing paradise) are even closer.
