So disappointed
I so badly wanted to give this place a 5 star review, but I just can’t. For starters, it’s hard to find. Thanks to a helpful local, we were able to locate the entrance. Upon entering the apartment, we were greeted with a horrible sewer odor. I’m assuming it had sat vacant for awhile and the sewer got backed up. The more we used the water and flushed the toilet, the better the odor got. The bed was like sleeping on a rock and the pillows very flat and uncomfortable. The water in the shower was mostly tepid, and every couple minutes the water pressure would get strong and super hot water would come out. This lasted maybe 3 seconds and the water returned to tepid. This repeated the entire duration of the shower. The kitchen had a very small garbage can and no extra sacks. The perk of staying at a vrbo over a hotel is the ability to cook, but the kitchen didn’t even have basics like salt and pepper. Drinking water is advertised as an amenity, but we were left none. The furnishings were subpar at best, and there was no place to sit and eat. There are barstools, but they come up so high to the counter you can’t sit at them and have your legs fit under the counter. The sliding door to the patio was extremely hard to open. The only perk of this place is the location and view. It’s located right on 5th so everything you need is easily accessible. And the view is amazing. But I would not stay here again and I would not recommend this place to other travelers.
