Welcome to Salt Air Villas Unit 214! The private, gated Salt Air Villas community is a quiet condo community located a short 1/2 mile from the best beaches, restaurants and shopping on St. Simons Island! Unit 214 is a nicely updated king bed efficiency unit with a bunk room. Guests will have access to covered gated parking, the Salt Air Villas community pool and a private balcony. The living area and king bed area doubles as a living area with a large 55" HD Smart TV, two sitting chairs and a sofa. The comfortable King bed offers storage for personal belongings underneath for guests during their stay. The large balcony off the living area is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy morning coffee while watching the wildlife natural area below.

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (4 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted.

The fully-stocked kitchenette offers guests a small kitchen sink, refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner range, microwave and a dishwasher (an oven is not available in this property) -- perfect for preparing simple meals. The dining area has seating for two guests.

The bunk room offers guests two twin-size bunk beds with storage for clothing during their stay and is a perfect kids hideaway! The bathroom is spacious and updated with a large shower and private water closet area. The washer and dryer are tucked away in the closet off the bathroom space.

Cute Condo on the Island

The condo is attractive and a comfortable size for 2 adults or a small family. The balcony is private and the building is quiet. Salt Air Villa is perfectly located near the beach and the village. The management was very responsive with some minor requests. I would recommend staying here for a cute beach weekend.

Worked Great for what we needed

This place was as advertised. Great location within biking/walking distance to most of the stuff you want to be close to. We stayed with our two 6 foot plus teenage boys and they were fine with the bunk beds although the place is probably better suited to younger kids. No complaints though at all.

Perfect Spot

We had such a great stay at Salt Air Villas! The property manager had great communication from the minute I booked the property to the minute we checked out. The condo was stocked with everything needed for a short stay, we didn't have to get any additional things other than our food/drink. This condo has everything you need! It's close to the beaches and the downtown area so no long car rides to get or see something. Loved this place and would absolutely book it again.

This property was booked for our stay pending our beach wedding in nearby Jekyll Island. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay because of the devastating impact of hurricane Helene which in this case was a power outage. What made this property stand out is the sympathy, love, compassion, respect and kindness that the management demonstrated towards me and my family. They sent a gift basket which was so thoughtful a gesture that It assuaged our feelings of anxiety and sadness from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. It made a difference in our distorted wedding plans. It will forever stay in our memories.

Quiet and clean

This was a very nice condo. Clean with nice decor. The location was great and situated near the village, restaurants and beaches. My teen slept comfortably in the bunk room. Loved sitting on the balcony and the fan offered a nice breeze. We happily used the pool. It was clean and a nice way to spend part of the day. The bathroom was large and having the washer and dryer was fantastic! Beach chairs and beach towels were nice to have for the beach. The only addition I would add would be a small cooler for folks traveling from afar who don’t have one. I slept great here. It was not loud at night. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Know before you go!

Great location within walking distance of the beach and some fun local spots. The Pier Village is definitely walkable but we rented bikes and got to and from the area in less than 10 mins. (HELPFUL TIP: If you’re staying in the area and plan on using Uber or Lyft to get somewhere by a certain time, use the “plan ahead” feature to schedule your ride in advance! Demand is high and there aren’t many drivers so wait times for on-demand rides were very long.) Overall, this place met our needs but make sure you pack the essentials, or plan to purchase some when you arrive. There wasn't much in the way of toilet paper, basic toiletries or supplies to use the advertised washer/dryer. Over the course of our stay we were unable to figure out a sensical way of exiting the pedestrian gate. Each time we went to leave we had to reach through the bars and around the lock/keypad to blindly enter the code from behind. And, if you enter the code wrong, you have to wait a few minutes for it to reset
 There were several occasions where we ran into other very confused and frustrated guests trying to exit. On one occasion, we met a guest whose Uber had to cancel and leave because she could not figure out how to exit the property. If you are able coordinate a late check-out, be sure you confirm the time of your key code expiration. We found ourselves locked out of the unit as we were trying to leave for the airport and had trouble getting ahold of the property manager. All things aside, our stay was pleasant and we wouldn’t write off this option for future vacation stays!

Great stay

Nice condo for two adults and two kids. This is a compact apartment but had almost everything we needed for our beach stay. The kitchen is small with a two-burner stove top and a small toaster oven for very simple meals. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The area is quiet and the balcony is nice. There is a nearby park but nothing else in short walking distance. Shops, restaurants, and beaches are 5-10 minute drive.

Perfect home base

Stayed their w my husband and two boys are 7 and 4. Bunk beds worked great for the boys and they enjoyed the pool before dinner. If you are a light sleeper bring a sound machine as the HVAC coming on during the night woke me up. I spent most of my time w friends and family around the town.

Adorable perfect condo!

The condo was perfect! The king bed is so comfortable. The bunk room was precious and so useful. We had everything we needed. The beach chairs and towels was an excellent plus, it saved us so much room packing. The complex was quiet and peaceful, We hope to return before next summer!
