Om boendet

Stay at home in Reno close to midtown and airport

You have your own separate space with separate entrance in a quiet residential neighborhood, 5 minutes from airport and downtown Reno. Less than one hour from Tahoe and skiing. Full large basement apartment is over 700 sq. ft. and has a separate, private entrance (with stairs) and its own backyard. Owners live upstairs. Eclectic decor - antique bedroom set, Mexican themed common spaces.
This is NOT a party house. If there is anything resembling an out of control party you will be asked to leave immediately.

The space
This is a spacious studio apartment. It occupies the entire basement of a 2 bedroom house (above), so it is quite large. The queen bedroom area is off by itself a bit and has a curtain for some privacy. The single bed has a partial room divider also. For those who need a desk space there is a very large desk, with lamp, electrical outlets and printer.

Guest access
You have access to the entire basement apartment through a private entrance on back of house, and private backyard area, entered by a separate gate to street parking.

Other things to note
A portacrib and and an air mattress are available. There are some board games and a collection of books and magazines as well as some toddler toys. Kitchen is ready for cooking and cabinets contain spices, oils, cookware, servingware and some basic foods just in case. A washer and dryer are in the apartment for you to use as well as an iron and ironing board.
I now have a rental car available for you to rent so you can avoid the long wait at the car rental counter. Reasonable rates. 7 passenger Dodge Grand Caravan. Message me for details and availability.

Kitchen was clean and well stocked. A nice touch were the muffins and drinks provided for our stay. Check-in was easy and the unit is roomy enough for 4. This VRBO is a basement under the hosts house with a private entrance and parking.

Too much noise above that kept me awake. Furniture was kind of old and outdated. Lots of religuous memorabilia everywhere, which i didnt appreciate (maybe some will if you are religious).The owner was kind enough to let me charge my vehicle. But overall, not a good experience.

Reno weekend

Property cute was very small. Kitchen missing a few necessary utensils like veg peeler. Had to ask for more toilet paper no extra supplied.No shampoo in the bathroom. Host very quick with Communication and they did let us get in early a big plus.Overall would rate as a solid 4 stars.

Great location!

We had a great time and really loved the house! The host was very accommodating and friendly. The house was very clean, cozy, and felt very safe. Our dogs loved the fenced in back yard. I would highly recommend this rental!!! Btw, if we’re ever back in Reno, we would definitely stay here again : )

Great location!

Perfect location for my five day stay with my little dog. Katherine was welcoming when I arrived but I didn’t see her again until I left. Super clean, very large space with all the amenities you could hope for. The full size refrigerator/freezer and oven are above what you usually find in rental spaces that contain a microwave and coffee pot. Would definitely return for another stay. Everything was perfect!

Hidden gem in Reno

Perfect, affordable stay for me, my friend and my pup. The fenced-in yard was key which allowed me to go to our friend’s wedding without hiring a dogsitter. Basement apartment was tastefully updated with a lot of extras
 coffee, hot drinks and snack’s complementary! We enjoyed our stay very much and Katherine was a great host! 5 stars!
