Family spring break

Nice new property. Everything was clean and neat. Neighbor hood was quiet and the neighbors all very friendly. Location was perfect and walkable to many shops and restaurants, especially for teenagers. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Holiday “getaway”

Very clean and comfortable. Easy check in and out procedures. Quiet neighborhood, and about 15 minutes from Wrightsville Beach.

Wilmington bungalow

The house was just as advertised! Very clean, spacious, nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Only thing I would recommend is a grater for the kitchen. We loved the house and plan to return in the future.

Haven House Review

Everything was excellent. The only comment is that we could have used a few more smaller towels / hand towels. There were enough bath towels and of course, we could wash them! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

UNCW Move In Weekend

Cottage was very well appointed, clean and spacious. Close proximity to both college and riverfront. Host provided great restaurant recommendations. We were moving in our incoming freshman and have plans for many trips to Wilmington in the upcoming years and will definitely return. Area is a developing so a car/uber is a must for restaurants and shops. Very safe and friendly.

Fantastic weekend getaway

This beautiful little bungalow is actually Avery spacious inside, and has everything one needs for a relaxing and comfortable stay! It is decorated beautifully in neutral colors with all new appliances and furnishings. It was immaculate and well appointed, and we felt comfortable the moment we walked through the door. The End of Days Distillery is just steps away and we enjoyed the tour, drinks, and charcuterie. Lots of fun places to explore within walking distance! The beach was a short drive away (we had a perfect day), and the famous Riverwalk and historic district was even closer. I would book another stay at Haven House in a heartbeat, and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend.

Exceptional!

The house was perfect - clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and all the appliances worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable and all the linens and towels fresh. The neighborhood is peaceful and residential, walkable to some nice cafes and restaurants in the Cargo District, and a short drive to the river walk, historic district, and downtown. I would definitely re-book.

Great stay

Good location - we walked to town and drove to Wrightsville Beach. Roomy house with a good layout, and nicely furnished. Johnny was great to work with. Highly recommend.

Another GREAT stay!

From beginning to end, we had an excellent experience and enjoyed our stay. The host could not have been more responsive or helpful and was very accommodating. The property still feels new and is spotlessly clean. It contained all of the amenities to make the stay perfect. This is a return visit for us and we hope to get back to Haven House one day!

Wedding

The home was nice and clean the only thing that lacked was more towels and paper products. We had 5 people in the party and only 1 towel per guest. I know there is a washer and dryer, but when you are there for a wedding it’s nice to have more than 1 towel. We also had to purchase paper towels,toilet paper and Kleenex. Again, we understand it’s our responsibility to bring certain supplies, but it’s not fun having to use toilet paper to blow your nose etc. The beds were very comfortable and so was the furniture. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again. Thank you

Great Place

We were pleasantly surprised by how perfect this house was for our needs. Had great appliances, very nice furnishings, and plenty of room. A block from a great distillery and several other nice restaurants. Would definitely stay here next time we were in Wilmington.

Very clean - perfect stay!

This is the BEST place we have rented from vrbo and the cleanest house ever! 6 minute drive to downtown river walk. 25 to 30 minutes from all of the beaches. Wrightsville closest but due to parking we also drove to Carolina Kure and Ft Fisher. 40 minutes drive to Southport. Many restaurants within 5-10 minutes drive, Starbucks movie theater shopping and groceries within 10 minutes. Tasteful decor, very nice porch and patio and plenty of room to gather with family. Big dining room, awesome kitchen, comfortable beds, easy check in, spotless bathrooms. Extras like coffee pods, paper towels, soaps, etc to get you started. Puzzles games and reading materials are a nice touch. Smelled fresh and clean. Every day was relaxing thanks to this property. I’ve had some rough stays in properties with grimy corners and moldy baths or fridge that wasn’t cold enough for our food. Believe me this is a CLEAN house. Neighbors were quiet, easy to park and get anywhere we wanted. We hope to stay again next summer!

Lovely home

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway to celebrate my parents 60th birthdays. The home was clean and nicely decorated. Very welcoming and beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The surrounding area is developing but home is convenient to Downtown and beaches. We will definitely stay here again.

Week away/ UNCW camp

My son had camp for the week at marine quest at UNC-W. We decided to rent this house and stay the week and he did the day camp. My older son came also (who just graduated from law school). Besides the first day being a bad storm, the weather cooperated well, despite the forecast!!. My husband and I took the Fort Fisher/Southport ferry on July 4th and it was very nice. The rest of week, my 15 year old was in camp during the day, my older son studying for bar and my husband worked remotely. I enjoyed the free time and exercised, shopped and read. Evenings we enjoyed some local restaurants, games, the Riverwalk and the beach- all very convenient to the house. Check in was very easy and the house was very clean and comfortable. We had all we needed and it Felt like home away from home. We'd definitely go back in the future.
