Short 15-20 minute drive to either Wrightsville or Carolina Beach, some of NC's best beaches. Fully equipped to accommodate your perfect visit to downtown Wilmington, NC. This property is a private full home as one side of a side-by-side duplex, offering rare amenities for Downtown Wilmington including great parking and driveway, private fenced-in backyard area, huge wraparound front porch with relaxing rocking chairs. You will not find many properties or rentals downtown with amenities like this.

On the main floor, walk in to a refurbished, fresh, and clean space designed for comfort and relaxation. Fresh functional kitchen with coffee essentials, cooking necessities, door to access the back yard, dining table with room for 6-8, and more. Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms, one featuring a large comfortable king bed, and the second with a comfortable queen bed. Perfect fit for a small family, group of couples or group of friends. Full bathroom with newly updated shower upstairs.

The biggest attraction to this home is the level of comfort/amenities offered in a full home close to downtown. Located on Dock St, this is as central as it gets. Walk 3-4 blocks to downtown, and one more to the Riverwalk. Incredible location for a Downtown Wilmington visit. You will struggle to find a reason to drive or Uber anywhere during a stay here.

Downtown Wilmington is special in that it offers a rich history, fun vibe and culture - but is also a coastal town. A 15-20 minute drive gets you to the best beaches NC has to offer, including Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. There is no shortage of fun activities!

The house is in a great location! The historic district is just a few blocks away. The host was super responsive when we had questions and even though it is a duplex, we didn't hear our neighbors at all!

Very convenient to waterfront (six blocks). Host was responsive to our requests. Home just as stated. Very comfortable and updated. My only complaint is that I have problem with stairs and I did not have a railing for all steps; however, I knew the bedrooms were upstairs.

The property was super convenient to the Riverwalk. We had no problems communicating with the host. The house was clean and uncluttered and comfortable. The photos are exactly representative of the house. The temperature was very comfortable downstairs and a little less upstairs. The parking in the driveway was tight but very helpful. Only downside was the upstairs bathroom. The shower is great but the bathroom is small and it stays damp and steamy, it helps to keep the exhaust fan running but I was more comfortable leaving the door open to vent the bathroom.

This property was my first personal home; which I have since improved and converted into a place to share with others. This home is what sparked my passion for curating experiences and sharing wonderful spaces with others. Many historic duplexes in the downtown area will be a top-and-bottom style, while this property is well thought-out and very unique as features a side-by-side style, offering many advantages including private separate parking, outdoor areas, deck areas, and no noise up and down. Each side features a private driveway, which is hard to come by downtown where most houses must utilize only street parking. It has a large wrap-around front porch which is relaxing and inviting with multiple rocking chairs. A private back yard area tops it off. You will not find many properties or rentals in Downtown Wilmington with amenities like this.
