Great Time - MDW2025

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, full of amenities, and Patricia & Joe were very communicative and helpful whenever needed. We are so grateful for our experience, and definitely intend to return asap.

Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay at the lake. The house was welcoming and fit our family of 5 very nicely. We enjoyed walking to the lake, paying games at the large dining table and spending time on the deck. The views of the lake were incredible! It was a true getaway from our busy lives. Thank you!

Anniversary celebration

Beautiful view of the lake which was only a brief walk to the shoreline. The house is clean and comfortable with a wonderful deck and firepit. Communication with the hosts was excellent.

Enjoyable time

Adoroable home :)

Great place for a family getaway. We had fun sitting around the fire pit telling ghost stories, roasting marshmellows and playing truth or dare :) Beauitiful kitchen, porch and view!

New Year’s Trip

The place was beautiful. It was a short stay but I enjoyed every second of it. I even got to see some fireworks over the lake New Year’s Eve! Highly recommend!

Nice stay in quiet area. Accessible to lake and close to other state parks and trails. Owners responded to all questions promptly. House was stocked. Would stay again.

Wonderful lake home

Well-maintained home, beautiful views down to the lake, and a nice outdoor area with a fire pit, which our group thoroughly enjoyed. Easy communication with the hosts who were extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend to others!

Friend Getaway

It was a perfect place for us to get away, relax, and connect! There were great outdoor places at the house to lounge and eat meals. The house was a close drive places to hike and dairy farm icecream!

Great escape

We enjoyed an escape girls weekend at the cabin. It had wonderful views of the lake and made you feel like you were in your grandmothers cabin which was a nice experience. We enjoyed the fireplace and taking walks.

Perfect Setting

Nice quite wood setting. You are in a nice calm cove, we kayaked and paddle boarded from the beach. You can drive down and unload, within 25 yards of the beach. We kept them there at the beach the entire week. Perfect 4th of July week!

Epic Weekend Trip !

This Cabin is amazing! Nestled in the Mountains off of Lake Ariel. Plenty of sleeping areas, comfortable master suite bedroom, awesome indoor fireplace, large outdoor fire pit, kitchen with everything in it. Walk to the lake or sled down the hill to it in the winter! Most Epic. Host was great and texted me throughout to make sure accommodation were to expectations. Bravo

Cozy and Lakeside

Patricia and Joe's home is a lovely place. It's situated up the hill from Lake Wallenpaupack. The view is just beautiful. The home is well stocked and furnished. My friend and I stayed for a weekend. We found everything we needed to enjoy a weekend in - including pots and pans for cooking. There's a treasure trove of games in the trunk in the living room. The woodstove is glorious. The front porch is heated and so cozy!There were still Christmas decorations there, so we got to enjoy a little tree with lights too. TV is smart, so you can login to whatever streaming you have. It's about a 20 minute drive into Hawley, which is the nearest town/supermarket.The road to the house is a little steep, and my little Honda had some trouble getting up the hill on the ice to depart, but we made it!The owners were great with communication. They made our stay very easy and comfortable.**The only thing I'd suggest to improve would be the twin mattresses. They're all pretty dated and uncomfortable.

Quiet house, really nice stay, but a little dated

Very comfortable house, lots of space. They don't supply sheets or towels without a fee so bring your own (this info isn't very clear in the listing). Mattresses are somewhat old but the master bedroom bed is OK. Decent view of the lake but it's a steep walk to get down there. Very quiet location. Lots of deer! Responsive host. Really nice sun room and deck. Very calming atmosphere. Comfortable couches and chairs. Tons of kitchen tools but all were fairly old, but still functional.

Nice house and even superior hosts

This is our first vacation by the lake, and it exceeded my expectations. I wish we could stay longer. They have a nap kind neighbor to loan us his row boat, so we enjoyed rowing boats on the lake. Hostess is very patient with us, and explaining things and answering questions because we were not familiar with the area. we had a family emergency right before our start date, and she expressed her understanding and willing to be flexible to offer other alternate days. Allah and all, we had a very positive experience in spite of the our personal situations.

Very nice!

As the other reviews state, the pictures do not do it justice. This home and property are beautiful. The space inside is very open and welcoming and the huge deck compliments the same. we had plenty of room for everyone to relax, chit chat, and sleep. At times we could not believe how quiet it was. We had an abundance of nature's visitors. Plenty of deer and chipmunks. However, the highlight was the Pileated Woodpeckers that flew right up to the tree next to the fire pit. It was quite amazing watching them go to town. We all had a wonderful time! Thanks Pat and Joe Lorenzo!

The registration process was clunky. We were the additional guests and had diffuculty accessing / understanding the digital platform. There was no direct communication so we never really knew who had access to - we didnt even know if there was a property manager, owner, etc. It wasnt clear when we cked in exactly, we just texted the # we were given. Directions to access the keys was precise.
