This charming, 2 story COTTAGE was Inspired by sun-drenched island vacations and tropical shores.... ahhhh ..... The feeling of Irie!!!

This 2 bedroom and 2 full bath maybe compact, (twin size Crate and Barrel sleeper chair and Half for additional guest), BUT She SURE packs a powerful punch!! TOTALLY open concept living area, caterers stocked kitchen (I’m a former catering company owner for 20 years, just trying to simplify), fully fenced in professionally landscaped yard with SO many colorful flowers, herbs and vegetables for the picking, functional and cute sunroom for additional living space amongst nature, endless entertaining, upstairs deck off of primary bedroom ... OFF STREET PARKING and Private FULL size .... YES... PRIVATE... pool in the heart of Eastport!

Restaurant Row with over a dozen fabulous restaurants with-in a mile, small mom and pop shops, several yacht clubs and marinas, museums, and of course.... WATER Activities!! You say, you're on vacation and just want to chillax, just stay in and simply enjoy your new vacation home!!

Start your day off with your morning beverage from the built-in beverage and breakfast nook. Savior your authentic French pastry from our local bakery, Bakers and Co., a short stroll away. Enjoy your sweet or savory fare in the sunroom. If you must check in with work, we have an Ethan Allen secretary's desk off to itself.

Following breakfast you may choose to take a 10 minute stroll across Spa Creek Bridge to downtown Annapolis, City Dock, and the Navel Academy!! While in route, take time to admire the diverse number of power and sail boats in the numerous area marinas. ALL ... with-in a 10 minute stroll!!

You say you do not feel like walking, the best kept secret, Annapolis Water Taxi picks up and drops off only a block away!!!! $4-$9!!! It will drop you off right at City Dock!! Want to try your hand at sailing or power boats??!! There are several sailing and boating schools, YES, all with-in a 10 minute stroll!!

Once you return from your adventure to this amazing 2 story cottage, relax by the glistening saltwater pool in one of the sun loungers. Or take a dip to refresh and reset the mind. You do not feel like swimming?? No PROBLEM!! Enjoy an adult beverage in the new (Apr. 2023) sunroom while listening to some island music, reading a book, marveling at the flower garden, watching your family or friend enjoy the pool...
After all, your life is IRIE when you stay with us!!

IF, you do not feel like going out to dinner or cooking, for an additional fee, there are local grab and go culinary offerings, private chefs, and curbside pickup and deliveries available.

Being a local, myself, I can give you a locals eye into activities and services, as well! There are quite a few adventure waiting for you, your family and friends at 421 Irie!

Perfect pool for family/kids

Early summer stay and the house, especially the pool, was very clean and tidy. Relaxing and secluded outdoor area with a larger than expected pool for the kids to enjoy. About 0.5 miles to the center of town with excellent restaurants less than 0.25 miles away in Eastport.

Irie is a special place

A warm, welcoming vibe. Beautiful and cozy. We were attending my daughter’s wedding and it was wonderful to come back to Irie and simply relax. Liz is a great host and an excellent communicator. Very helpful and informative. Would love to return soon and definitely recommend to others

Comfortable, convenient and beautifully decorated

We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Liz was so accommodating and helpful. The house is in the best location, easy access to great restaurants as well as downtown. The property is amazing. The decor and amenities are just perfect. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Cottage in Eastport

421Irie is a great property, well managed and maintained by Liz. It was perfect for a weekend of sailing, golf, family and friends. We hosted a small cookout for eight one night, and the cottage was just right for the group. The kitchen is well stocked, the big grill outside was just fine, and the multiple seating locations were ideal for the various attendees. We would love to stay at the cottage again next time we are in Annapolis

Simply perfect!

We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, cheese, crackers and grapes. The home is beautifully appointed in every way. The pool added so much fun to our stay and screened in porch is spacious and great for enjoying meals. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. Liz was a wonderful host. Hope to return again in the future!

Location and Pool

Our family (adults and two kids 5 and 9 yr old) was really very happy in this home. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, the location in Annapolis close to all attractions was a hit with the parents. The house was really well equipped with everything needed. Very clean, well organized, and would definitely stay again in the future. Liz was a wonderful host, made herself available to our questions and was very flexible with our departure time.

Got Ready for my Eastport Wedding Here!

Liz, the host, was one of the nicest and most accommodating hosts I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She allowed me and a few of my bridesmaids to get ready in her home for my wedding a few blocks away. It was the perfect location. Fully equipped with whatever we needed, meticulously well-decorated and maintained, and surprisingly spacious for our needs. The beds were very comfortable for some much needed rest. Liz’s garden is incredible. I definitely recommend a spring visit for that reason alone. We loved our stay here so much!

Lovey home in an amazing location!

I wanted to do one last quick getaway before the kids (4 and 6 yrs old) started school and this house was perfect. The location is awesome - conveniently located to downtown Annapolis (we used the Water Taxi which is a couple blocks from the house), the Naval Academy, several great restaurants, a playground, and Pirate Adventures (a huge hit for the kids). The pool at the house was a huge plus too. Liz was great - wonderful communication and she left us a nice bottle of wine and cheese plate upon arrival. We'd love to return!

Amazing location & house!

We took a quick weekend getaway to Annapolis. It was our first time there and we loved it. The location of the house is perfect. We were so close to the bay with tons of restaurants nearby. It was a quiet neighborhood though so we didn’t feel like we were in a party scene. The house was so clean. The pool was huge (bigger than expected), and the host went above and beyond. Liz was an excellent communicator. She had more than enough essentials at the house that made our stay so relaxing. I felt very safe and comfortable reaching out to her if we had any trouble. She was a top tier host for sure. We highly recommend and highly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home in a wonderful neighborhood

Husband and I stayed here with our adult sons to visit local family for the Thanksgiving holiday. Was the perfect location to visit family in the Annapolis, Howard Co and DC area and come home to relax in the evening. The property is spotless and nicely appointed (beautifully decorated w/lots of local flavor). It was also extremely well stocked with kitchen/bathroom essentials and then some. Liz was easy to contact via text and super responsive. It was truly like being at home. Highly recommend this property. I'm sure it's very lovely in the summer too with the backyard garden in bloom and the pool. Unfortuantely, we couldn't get the clothes washer to work but not really a big deal - just did all the laundry when we got hom

Awesome, amazing Annapolis

This is a truely amazing place to stay in the heart of the Eastport and on the doorstep of Annapolis. The house was stylishly decocrated, immaculately clean and well equipped. The garden was delightful and the pool heavenly. A pool in the middle of town - what a treat! Location is execellnt too - several good restaurants and bars just a couple of blocks away and an easy walk to downtown Annapolis. Liz was a great hostess and was very helpful and responsive with any queries. I can't praise this little cottage enough and we are already looking to rebook it! Thank you.

Excellent

This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay!! The host Liz was so easy to work with and quick to respond to any inquiries we had. We booked for the Herndon climb (#plebenomore) and cannot say enough about how perfect this house was for us. It was an easy walk to DTA and gate #1. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed to make several home cooked meals for our son and his friends. The sun room is beautiful and the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or breakfast! The pool was also nice but, unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we didn’t get to use it as much as we had planned. We will definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Location with every amenity.

Our stay was very enjoyable as the check-in process was extremely easy. Liz was very proactive and responsive to all communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. Downstairs living space had everything we needed, and the back porch is an added bonus. We wish it could have been earlier in the year to enjoy the pool, but that is a rare find in Annapolis! The only issue with the neighborhood was that we did have someone attempt to open our car doors in the night, setting off the alarm, but the proximity to DTA was perfect.

Gorgeous, clean, relaxing

We LOVED this house. We spent just about all of our time lounging in the beautiful back yard and swimming. We ate all of our meals on the perfect screened-in porch. The house is exactly as pictured in the listing, and was spotless. Check in was easy, and communication with Liz was above and beyond. Lots of little touches in the house to make it comfortable and relaxing. Great location in really cute neighborhood, walkable to great bakery and brewery, as well as a (slightly longer, but still really easy) walk downtown. Zero complaints and we already can't wait to book again!

Nice visit

Overall our visit was very nice. We were disappointed with the pool however, and the pool was the only reason we booked this home. It had a lot of debris from the surrounding landscape. Liz was very kind and even came over to skim it one morning without even being asked. Unfortunately no amount of skimming we did could rid it of the debris. Overall the setting was lovely. Liz was very responsive and kind.

Perfect Retreat for a Wedding Weekend in Annapolis

421 Irie was the perfect perch in Annapolis for our son's wedding weekend, exceeding all of our expectations. Liz made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we booked with her lightning-quick responses, warm hospitality, and thoughtful personal touches. The home was immaculate and had every amenity we could have wished for. Its convenient location made it easy for us to navigate to and from wedding events, while the comfort and coziness of the house made it the ideal place to relax and prepare for the big day. The small wedding party had plenty of space to do hair and makeup prep, which was a huge plus (large living room, kitchen island for brunch and luncheon dishes). The lush, blooming gardens surrounding the pool provided a picturesque backdrop, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. One of our favorite spots was the sunroom, which was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and gathering with family and friends throughout the day and evening. Overall, this home was the perfect retreat for such a special occasion, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Liz's vacation home for anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Annapolis.

Perfect for Us

We rented the house for five days before and after a wedding in Annapolis. Special features included the pool, which was not heated but comfortable after a quick plunge, a screened in porch with a wide screen television, a lush garden, and an efficient kitchen with more gadgets than I have in my 4,000 square-foot house at home. Liz, the owner and manager, was quick to respond to every inquiry and very accommodating. Within two blocks were excellent seafood restaurants and a vegetarian breakfast/lunch counter. My son and I enjoyed running every morning over the bay bridge and into the historic heart of what seemed more like a large village than a city. My career was in historic preservation and this compares well with Savanna. Minor inconveniences included low water pressure (which is being improved by city crews who blocked nearby roads occasionally), the one-way street that passed by the house and made entering and exiting the driveway an occasional challenge, and the front steps without a hand rail. Best of all was the pool where my six year old grandson and I invented a new game called Pappa Ball, keeping a beach ball up in the air passing to one another. We had lots of laughs and hugs. We would book the place again in a heartbeat.

This is our second time renting at this house, and it was as perfect as ever! Very clean, comfortable and a perfect location for all Annapolis has to offer.

Very nice, cozy property with a beautiful backyard. The kitchen was well stocked, and the host provided a welcome cheese and wine board. One item to improve the comfort of this home would be to get better couches for the living room and sunroom. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

This property has it all!! Location is key!! Annapolis is amazing!! Eastport, on the peninsula, is more laid back and less tourists!! Walk to be amongst the chaos, if you choose, or enjoy the local scene!!
Compact with a big punch!!!! The feel of serenity in a wonderful town/village setting. Incredible flower gardens! Pool! Open floor concept. Entering at its best!!!!
Just IRIE!!!
