We have stayed at this property several times during the Annapolis Sailboat Show and it is a great home - plenty of space, well equipped, clean and also off-street parking, which is wonderful!

Fantastic location and historical house. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back soon. Yvonne was extremely responsive and very pleasant host. Kitchen was well equipped and comfortable. The house clean, nicely appointed and with a spacious feel. I loved reading about the history of the house and their family.

Convenient to all things Annapolis

We had a great long weekend stay for our annual cousins weekend! Property was exactly as shown & even more impressive in person. We had everything we needed, walked to most destinations & enjoyed the history all around us.

Historical Beauty

The history of this beautiful home is deeply intertwined with USNA which was very interesting for our family. The home itself is beautiful and well equipped with great bedding and towels, coffee, tons of drinkware....really everything we needed for a long weekend. Although we visited at a chilly time of year, the upstairs deck looks lovely! If you are looking to be close to DTA and USNA and enjoy a great night sleep in wonderful sheets, book this house!

Wedding weekend

This was an incredible property in the perfect location for enjoying all downtown annapolis has to offer with incredible views of the us naval academy. We stayed fir my sons wedding at the usna chapel and reception in the paca gardens next door. We couldnt have been happier. Highly recommend.

Excellent house in close proximity to the Academy and two shops and restaurants

We will absolutely stay here again. The hosts were accommodating, communicated, well, and keep a nice home. The property is bigger than it looks in pictures. The short walk to downtown is easy, Annapolis is charming.

Great location with parking

We recently stayed at this lovely home and it was right behind Paca Gardens where our daughter got married. The house was so conveniently located and had two parking spaces. It made it much easier to enjoy the weekend events having a home like this to stay in. The host also left flowers for the bride which was so thoughtful.

This house was the perfect location and size to house wedding guests for a wonderful weekend. Downtown ease, walkable to rehearsal dinner venue and a hope over to Eastport for wedding. Made for easy walkable return after after after parties.

Annapolis Visit to attend funeral at USNA

The home is lovely and the owners provide many amenities. The location was outstanding in terms of proximity to the Academy which was where we spent most of our time. The two parking spaces are a treasure and were ample. Would absolutely rent this space again. They went abbe and beyond!

We stayed at King George Rose over the New Year. The location couldn't have been better and the home is spectacular. Exactly as described. Even decorated for the holidays. What a nice touch. Would love to come back during warming weather to enjoy the outside patio.

Just Fabulous

We had a wonderful stay while attending a special wedding at the Naval Academy. Yvonne made things so easy. The location was perfect being right next to the Academy and still peaceful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Great for families, couples just having fun, and gathering etc. The Kitchen was wonderful! I am so appreciative that Yvonne shared their beautiful home with us.

Most excellent stay!

This house is full of history and yet is updated in a perfect way. Full of charm. Could not have found a better location. Right next to the academy and the Paca house where we had our sons wedding. Walking distance to everything!! Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen- had the groomsmen for breakfast- love the sun on the front porch in the mornings. Wonderful host who was very responsive. Clear directions for check in and out! Oh , and the 2 parking spaces?? Priceless!!!! Would love to stay here again.

Perfect Palace for our Perfect Wedding!

Our USNA wedding was like a fairytale with a perfect ending, and this home became the perfect setting for all the pre and post planning, laughing, celebrating and resting. Perfectly located immediately across from Gate 2 and just 2 minutes from the main gate of the Academy, our home away from home became the ideal meeting spot. Two upstairs balconies with seating provided intimate areas for small group gatherings, and the main level wrap around porch was perfect for the noisy youth who reminisced about their experiences across the street. The main floor is elegantly decorated for guests who can congregate in two different sitting rooms. I loved the huge kitchen which, of course, became the favorite meeting space. The large dining table and the island with individual bench seats allowed comfortable seating where we displayed our buffet spread. The bonus room - with 3 twins and double (or was it a queen?) was so perfect for our large family. Our groom and his siblings got to share memories and laughter the night before the wedding without disturbing the parents and grandparents comfortably nestled in the beautiful 2nd floor rooms. A big plus was the frequent communication with the owners who responded quickly to all my emails and questions and concerns. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Annapolis, I hope to return to 171 King George. It was more than charming - also immaculately clean, fully functional, well designed, perfectly located, beautifully decorated, and comfortably cozy. We give our stay a unanimous 5 stars!

We stayed for several days to celebrate our son’s wedding at the William Paca House. The house was a perfect location and was so accommodating for our needs. Our host was very responsive to our needs and I highly recommend this property to anyone. Loved the family portraits and history. A huge plus!

We are a family of five that live nearby in Pasadena, MD. All three of our daughters will be in college or post-graduate school over the next few years. We have two dogs and love boating and hanging out in downtown Annapolis.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We couldn't pass up buying this house in Historic Annapolis because it was my husband's grandmother's home and he has fond memories from many years ago in this house. We love it and we're sure you will too! It's in a fantastic location within an easy stroll of the Naval Academy, City Dock, and numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. It even has two private off-street parking places!
