Grace Cottage is the perfect family vacation home for memorable stays in Kingsland! This adorable cottage comes equipped with all the amenities you may need for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway.

Relax on the spacious, screened-in porch while enjoying your morning coffee, and make use of the gas grill and the picnic table during warm-weather cookouts. The backyard, filled with live oaks, is quite large and slopes gently down to the water's edge. Children will love feeding the ducks and wading in the shallow area next to the boat launch (the cove's public access boat launch is conveniently located right next to Grace Cottage). Granite obstacles are clearly marked and the property includes a convenient bulkhead with cleats to moor your boat and a double jet ski ramp.

Once you visit Grace Cottage, you'll want to return again and again!

Paddle Boat and/or Water Toys are not offered at this home.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

Sweet property

Perfect for my young family. My 4 year old had a great time spotting deer and finding pretty rocks. Everything was clean and well-equipped for our stay. Would recommend!

Weekend Stay

We arrived late on Friday evening and were greeted by this adorable home. It was cutely decorated with a nice layout. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the screened back porch listening to the night sounds. This home is in a quiet area. The view down by the water was also peaceful and my husband enjoyed the fishing.

Cute, old-fashioned cottage

This sweet cottage was great for our two-night stay. Beds were comfy, linens ample, porch was the perfect place to relax. Do be aware that neither bedroom has adjoining bath; both bathrooms are across the house. This wasn’t a big deal since our stay was short. We enjoyed it!

Relaxing

Had a great, relaxing stay here. Only problem we had was the dishwasher didn’t work but it was ok since there was only 3 of us. Loved the screened porch, ate all our meals out there.

Everything was good. The only “negative” is the cooking utensils good be increased (more options to use) and the cookware options need to be something more than two sauce pans when a pot is needed.

We enjoyed our stay and the house was very clean. The beds were ok, but there was only 1 queen bed, the other was a double., listing said 2 queens. Also, the listing states waterfront, but it doesn't say the water is a small channel only wide enough for a small boat or 2 jet skis to pass through. There were houses across from the cottage, so there was no view. We made it work but probably won't stay again.

Overall comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay here, especially the outdoor area with the beautiful shade trees, large yard, screened back porch and covered seating near the water. The grandkids enjoyed trying out their fishing poles in the cove. Some improvement is needed at the house. More attention to cleaning could be given to the following: kitchen cabinets and drawers had some food crumbs from previous guests; some cobwebs up high and layer of dust above doors and windows.; smudges around door handles and some walls. We were not able to get the sofa sleeper to pull out and so our sleeping arrangements were a bit crowded. All of this being said, we would stay at this location again. We just want to give an honest review of our stay. Bathrooms and bedding were all clean.

Nice place to stay for a friends weekend, needs a couple of things to make it better

Overall, the property was nice, clean and well-equipped. There are a couple of things that need attention by the property management to really make it 5 star. First, the dishwasher had not been unloaded, so we did not know if they had been washed or not. Since a cleaning fee is part of the deal, that should have been handled. Next, there are plenty of DVDs from which to choose, but no remote for the player or instructions which connection is the one to use, etc. Made for an irritating time before we abandoned it as an entertainment option. Last, the lock on the back bedroom sliding door needs to be fixed. It is very hard to lock once unlocked. Once we finally got it re-locked, we kept it that way but prevented us to be leave open to get the nice, cool air while we were there.

Love the house!!!

We loved the house!! A few things we noticed; on the website it shows a basketball hoop and it wasn’t there. My kids were bummed. And my mother-in-law would have liked the chair in the living room to be a recliner. Everything was great until the last day. We had eaten outside the first night we stayed and threw some trash in the outside trash can. Three days later when it was time to checkout, on the list was to collect all trash, so I went to take the outside trash to the big trash can. OMG!! The trash can was full of maggots! It was absolutely disgusting. My MIL was braver than me and moved the trash can closer to the big trash under the car porch and took out the garage. Then I sprayed out the trash can. There is no way that many maggots got there in three days which only means they were in there when we started putting trash in it. Yuck!!! And on top of that a huge scorpion crawled out from under the trash can when my MIL moved it. I was glad it was checkout day. Other than we loved the house.

A nice get away

This was a nice get away for my husband and I. The house was clean. Beds were comfortable. House stayed cool. Water view and sitting area was giving the vibes we were looking for. We fished some at the house but it was shallow. We actually went 5 min down the road and found great fishing at the near by park. I definitely need this screen in porch at my house. I loved it. Definitely would stay here again and referrer others.

Eclipse in Kingsland

The property and the area were beautiful. It was quite. The beds were comfortable and we had most everything we needed. The price was high but I understand that was because of the eclipse. It would be a nice place to stay for a week at a lesser cost. Thank you.

AC Magic

We pulled in and we were concerned with our boat being in a slip and not docked. After realizing we were a good way from the crazy 4th if July river we were at ease, zero "yes" zero waves were this slip is located. Getting to the river takes a little work but worth it. After a long hard HOT day on the water this house is great to sit back and relax in. We look for locations to relax in after boating and a day on the river not for a house to spend the entire day in and this location was great. 100+ temp outside made the cool house a escape from the heat. Cooked in the kitchen every morning and evening and enjoyed the screened in back porch while waking up with coffee. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful getaway

The property management was amazing! Best communication I have ever had when staying in a rental property! The home was very clean and well stocked. Loved being able to fish in the evenings. Cozy little home with an awesome screened in porch. The porch was a great place to end the day with a glass of wine, and begin it with the morning coffee. Overall, 2 thumbs up.
