Not as expected

The positives: plenty of space in the cabin and location was close to parkway in Pigeon Forge. The negatives: location is right on top of several other cabins so NO privacy or view and could even see into loft bedrooms of other cabins from our deck. Hot tub was not warm and did not work for the first few days, bathrooms do not have doors only curtains which is in listing however upon arrival one of them didn’t even have a curtain which was awkward. The hot tub is only accessible through the downstairs bedroom which is awkward. The futon bed was broken and the bunkbeds were about to fall down and old mattresses with springs poking the kids so they used an air mattress. Kitchen is not furnished well but we accidentally left a few expensive items that “the cleaner” can’t find so y’all are welcome. The washer didn’t work properly but the owner did have a new one delivered half way through our stay which was nice. All of the pockets on the pool table were busted and didn’t hold the pool balls so we fixed them with red solo cups and zip ties so we could use it and maintenance was going to order new pockets. We were just disappointed overall as we have stayed in many cabins over the years and this one was just not up to par with the comfort of others. We will search better next time to find local renters as this owner is in California and was “out of the country” during our entire stay so communication was difficult. We rented bc it had 9.6/10 rating and it should be 4/10 at best.

Perfect for large groups

We were a group of 16 and had plenty of room. Very close to pigeon forge and easy to get to. The property was very nice and had lots of amenities to keep us entertained like pool, fooseball, hot tub, air hockey and jacuzzis in most rooms. Check in and check out was a breeze and the host made sure to check in with us to make sure everything was good.

Disappointed

Location: emailed Gilbert I was coming with motorcycles in trailers. Told him the sizes of the trailers.Gilbert obviously knows nothing of motorcycles or trailers. Fortunately one of our party who had a small trailer drove up to the cabin and called me before we arrived and warned me not to drive up the hill with the trailer, I would have gotten stuck requiring a crane to get me out. We unloaded the trailers at the church nearby and stored the trailers a couple miles away, we paid to store for a week. We rode the bikes up the hill but could not park in front of the cabin as the parking area was too steep, my bike fell over and sustained damage. Fortunately there was a flat spot up the hill in front of another cabin that was unoccupied, I'm not sure what we would have done if it was occupied. This is a poor location for motorcycles and trailers over 20 feet. Cabin first the water pressure was poor, but I understand that being so elevated from the main water pipes. When I flushed on the main floor, lower toilet became a geyser. We had multiple plumbing and mechanical problems when we arrived, they were addressed quickly on Sunday. Plugged other main floor toilet still was not functioning when we left.Missing some essential items. We only had 3 spoons, no plunger or broom. Lastly Gilbert only communicates through email, After I paid in full it would have made me feel better if I had his phone number. Also he would not release the address until a few days before we arrived. Why

Super cabin

We loved our stay here for a family reunion! Spacious and clean and kid-friendly. Also it’s very convenient to attractions/restaurants. If you’re looking for a remote, private location, this won’t won’t meet your needs, as it was in very close proximity to the other cabins in the community. But it worked out great for us! Would definitely recommend!

Great spring break

We had a wonderful time staying here. Lots of memories were made. We had plenty of room for 20 people (4 families). Convient to everything in Peigon Forge, loved the location. Gilbert was the best and very responsive to all our needs.

Nice size cabin

The size of the cabin was great, enough space for everyone to have their own space. The cabin definitely needs a deep cleaning. There was dog hair in the bedding and the floors. And also the cabin smelled like it had been closed up for awhile. We had to buy air fresheners to make it pleasant And also the Christmas tree was still up with only 6 ornaments on it. If you were going to leave the tree up it should have still been decorated. Overall the cabin needs some repairs. I don’t think I will ever book this cabin again. We have stayed in much cleaner cabins before

Great Extended Family Reunion/Get-Away

We rented the property so that my brother, his extended family, and my family could spend some time together in the mountains. We had folks from 4 months to 65 years old staying. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The property was clean and as advertised, the owner was friendly and responsive. The size of the cabin was such that everyone could spread out and have privacy, while also having plenty of communal spaces to come together. My only caveat would be that the development itself consists of closely located cabins built densely in the development, so scenic mountain views and privacy are not big elements of a stay at this property. However, for our purposes, that was not an issue.

The worse experience I ever had in cabin

The cabin was dirty and the bed's were not comfortable.And we found bed bugs on the 2nd level master bedroom.We left the next morning had to book another cadin.I wouldn't book this cabin ever again.

We booked this property so we would have enough room for twelve people. This property did not disappoint. Super easy to find and close to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location

Excellent location, wonderful communication with owner. Cabin has a great paved road and lots of parking. As others have said the kitchen is small but we made it work for our group and having 2 fridges was a plus. Yes the bathrooms, except for 1, have curtains and not doors but they are inside bedrooms so it wasn't an issue. Grill worked great and had extra propane for our grilling needs. Loved the movie area and the game room area was great. Would definitely stay again. Great community of cabins.

Nice place

We had a nice stay and there was good communication and responsiveness from property manager. We had a 4 generation family vacation with ages from 2 to 78. The cabin is better suited for older children than for toddlers. 5 of the 6 bedrooms have bathrooms just separated by curtains, which was not ideal and is a bit awkward. That might work better for multiple couples than families with young children. The kitchen area, as shown in the listing, is pretty small and challenging to actually prepare and cook meals. We made it work for breakfasts, but full dinners would have been difficult, so we scrapped those plans. Plenty of room at the big table, but the bench seating could be a challenge if anyone has mobility issues. Very convenient to Pigeon Forge attractions and the Smokey Mtn Park.

Fathers Birthday reunion

We had family coming together from 3 different states. This beautiful cabin met all of our families needs. Each room is spacious and has its own on suite. Convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, there was plenty for all to do. I enjoyed soaking in the peaceful serene views from my balcony (even watched a bear in the back yard.) I would highly recomend!
