Nice spot on Norris Lake!

Perfect location on Norris with lovely view and steps down to the lake. House was very nice and had everything you needed. Host was very responsive with any questions. Loved that there was a pontoon available to rent. We had a great stay!

Family getaway

We enjoyed staying here for a little getaway for a couple days after getting married. It was so peaceful. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, playing games and even rented kayaks at nearby marina and went out on the lake! Carmen was great at getting back quickly with any questions I had!

Wonderful stay!

Val Hollow is perfect for relaxing and getting cozy with family! It had everything you need for a fun getaway. Very comfortable beds and couches, important for relaxing.

Perfect Getaway

This is a cute little house near Flat Hollow Marina. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Carmen was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock, swimming and relaxing. Renting the boat through Carmen was a breeze and very convenient.

Great location to the Marina

This is an excellent place to stay with a small group! Less than a mile away from the marina. The extra accommodations were great! They had everything we forgot/ didn't thinks about bringing.

Perfect for our family trip

This house was perfect for our family. Hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Dock is nicer than the picture, and even though they keep their pontoon in a slip, there is still a spot for another boat. We just launched at Flat Hollow and they have overnight trailer storage.

Very helpful

The cabin was exactly as listed, with comfortable bedrooms and a very nice boat. We loved having access to the boat whenever we wanted, and Carmen was always available and extremely helpful!

Awesome Lake Front Property

The property is an older A-frame home. There are 3 levels. Kitchen has been completely remodeled. It is on the lake, has a private dock and a very nice pontoon boat that can be rented.

Perfect week

House was super clean and as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were really comfortable. We rented the owners boat as well which was a very nice pontoon boat - it was nicer than I expected it to be and I would recommend doing that if you don’t have your own. The area was quiet and we loved having our own dock. Someone below mentions it needed replacing - but I think that has been done because it was also very nice. They had tons of games. It was really a great rental!!

Vol Hollow does not disappoint!

My family and I had an amazing time at Vol Hollow. Carmen is an amazing host and was extremely attentive from the time we booked until the end of our stay. This was our first time visiting Norris Lake and this property was the perfect place for us. It's located on a peaceful spot directly on the lake with a nature preserve across the lake. Extremely clean and updated A-frame with no detail left undone! The pontoon boat rental provided at the property was extremely convenient! We especially liked hanging out on the dock, sunbathing, floating in the water, and soaking up the sun. Can't wait to return to Vol Hollow!

Perfect little getaway

This cabin was ideal for a weekend on the water. The property is beautiful and the views are fantastic. The only area it loses ratings for is the neighborhood and location. We brought our own boat and boat trailer parking is a nightmare. If you come on the weekend during the summer, you’ll be lucky to find parking. This was the most stressful park of our trip by far. If you have your own boat, I would suggest checking in on a week day and leaving on a weekday solely for parking purposes only (we never found a spot at the marina on Saturday). Otherwise, the cabin is wonderful and the hosts are truly fantastic.

Sweet Norris Lake A-Frame with Great Deck & Beautiful View

We had a great stay in this cozy A-Frame on beautiful Norris Lake. The owner, Carmen, was so responsive to our needs and to our questions. She provided all the necessities you could ever need for a stay away from home. Plenty of kitchen supplies, pans, plates, utensils, etc. The property was very clean and well maintained. And, the beds were soft and comfortable! We were able to use the pontoon boat for a day on the lake, and we had the best time. It was so convenient to have the boat docked at the house. You will definitely get a workout on the steps going to and from the house to the boat! But, the payoff is that you have that beautiful boat to cruise the lake. This is a great place to stay on the lake.

A Great Family Weekend Getaway

My family of 5 stayed here for a long weekend and the place was perfect for us. We had plenty of room and the Wifi was strong. After a long day that was a nice perk to entertain kids with a movie on Netflix ;) Having a boat already docked at the house was so convenient. The boat is brand new and perfect for cruising or tubing with children. It's a 5-minute boat ride to Flat Bottom Marina for ice, gas, supplies, dining, and more! There is also a great little cove 5 minutes the other way that is perfect for floating, fishing, and relaxing. We only filled up the boat once the entire weekend. Just remember if you do rent the boat to make sure all lights are turned off before you leave. The boat battery was dead when we arrived due to an interior light being left on. Tim and Carmen were excellent with communication and arrived within an hour to fix it. They even gave us a discounted rate for the day because of it :) We highly recommend this place as it has everything you would ever need to enjoy a weekend at Norris Lake. We will be back soon!

A-Frame near flat hollow marina

We spent 6 days 5 nights over a long Memorial Day weekend. 3 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. We brought a boat and was able to launch it at Flat Hollow, Marina, and store the boat trailer at the marina as well. It was nice having the dock right in front of the house. We had to split up so that when we brought the boat over, we knew which house to go to. One of our friends stood on the dock while another friend drove the boat over. We cooked all our meals at the house and used a brand new grill that was provided. There was an ice machine in the pantry that came in handy. We brought all our own food including paper towels, cutlery, and paper plates. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots and pans. I recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. if you’re going to be there more than a couple days. Because this is an A-frame, the steps up to the master bedroom and downstairs were pretty steep. There is no live TV, but there is Wi-Fi so bring your own personal streaming stick to watch movies. They had plenty of games to choose from for game night. There is no place to have a campfire. There was a washer and dryer available as well in the half bathroom downstairs.

Cozy and comfortable!

We love this cabin - it is set up perfectly and in a great location on a quieter part of the lake. The only downside is that the dock is a little haggard, but the owner communicated that they are working on it. Functional, but not built to “hang out” on like some on Norris.

Just Fantastic!

The house is well equipped, clean, and with such a great view it is unmatched! The fact that they also had a boat we could rent made this trip truly memorable. The owner could not have been nicer, she was so responsive and helpful! We would definitely return to this location!

Great cabin on the lake- fabulous view!

Wonderful location on the lake- perfect for lounging in the lake and close to marina . We swam off the dock daily and took our kayak out daily to explore the many coves. We rented the pontoon from Carmen and Tim for one day and had an amazing day exploring some of Norris Lake. Cabin was extremely clean and owners thought of everything! Would love to rent this place again!

Absolutely LOVED our stay here!

The location and property was amazing! We swam and fished off of our private dock for two if our days here and rented the pontoon from Carmen and Tim for two days of fun on the beautiful lake! Loved the pontoon and there was also a tube included that the kids absolutely loved cruising around the lake on! Carmen was a pleasure to rent from and was very helpful throughout our stay! We are already looking for dates to rent again! Thanks for the great vaca Carmen and Tim!
