Lovely space to stay and walkable to town.

Really nice and unique upstairs space. Very comfortable, and Donna is a great host, friendly and knowledgeable about local history. We would stay there again!

Wonderful stay!

Absolute best weekend staying at Donna and Robert’s home. They were so welcoming and helpful in every aspect. The apartment was clean and they were so accommodating to everything we needed. We are so excited to come back!

Location Location Location

Great property within easy walking distance to harbor, shops, restaurants, museums and other attractions. Enjoyed visiting with the owners and learning a bit about the history of the place. They were very attentive to making sure any needs we might have had were met. Highly recommend!

Fabulous experience

Donna and Robert were our hosts and were incredible. So kind and giving. The apartment was perfect. Large, Clean and had everything we needed. The snacks were a bonus! Location was ideal. Just a wonderful experience. We will be back!

Beautifully decorated and private apartment

We had a wonderful stay with Donna and her husband. We walked all over Newport and enjoyed coming to home to a gorgeous and comfortable apartment. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Newport and will recommend it to friends and family!

Fall Birthday Celebration Getaway

Our stay with Donna was all one can hope for. Thoughtful, hospitable, and kind, she made sure all of our needs and more were attended to. The space was perfect and the ambiance very cozy. The location allowed for quick and easy access to all the attractions we were hoping to experience. I would certainly come back again!

Best stay in Newport!

Our hosts went above and beyond in every detail of our stay! The rental property was stunning, spacious, clean and near absolutely everything you’d want in town. They were happy to provide recommendations for eating and activities and were just the nicest, most gracious people. Our trip would not have been as great without us staying here! 12/10 recommend!!

Rhode Island Get-a-way

Charming, cozy, quiet neighborhood and clean. Beautiful and so comfortable home away from home set up- from the Keurig for morning coffee to the very comfortable beds/pillows/duvets. The hosts ( and pups ! ) were incredibly welcoming and cordial. Very much enjoyed sharing some wine and conversation with our hosts. VRBO is right in heart of town, within walking distance to most everything.

Wonderful stay in beautiful home

We had an amazing stay at Donna and Robert's place. They were consummate hosts- warm, friendly, happy to offer recommendations, and welcoming in every way. Everything we needed was provided for and the space was spotless. You simply can't beat the location- close enough to walk to shops and restaurants yet away from the bustle. Highly recommended hosts and accommodations!

Hosts Donna & Robert were wonderful and accommodating during our long weekend stay in Newport for our son’s wedding. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable, and the surrounding area was lovely, quiet, and within walking distance to the Viking hotel and Bellevue Ave shops. We would definitely stay again. Donna and Robert also took us on tour of their home with all its history and shared era appropriate upgrades and timelines. Very warm and tasteful. Steve & Kathy

Great time in Newport!

This was my first stay in Newport. Donna's home is in a perfect location, so much is in walking distance there is no need to drive. The space is bright, airy, nicely decorated and private. Donna was so helpful with advice and suggestions. She went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. I looking forward to coming back to Newport and staying at the Top of the Hill again. Lovely Home, Gracious Hosts

“Lovely home, with gracious hosts that went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. Beautiful top floor setup with a spacious bedroom, private bathroom, and living space. We loved our stay here. Donna and Robert are fantastic hosts. Kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. The apt was very well-equipped, comfortable and clean. The location for enjoying Newport is also great. Quiet neighborhood, and close enough for us to bike anywhere we wanted to be. Highly recommended!

What a special home!

My friend and I stayed here for the Filk Festival. The location was great for walking into town. There was ample space, comfy beds, lovely bath, and linens. The 3rd floor location would be challenging if you have any motility limitations, but otherwise not an issue. Donna and Robert were excellent hosts!

Awesome stay!

Donna and Robert were so accommodating and made the trip super easy for us! I wasn't totally aware that we would be sharing the space but honestly it was perfect and we had our own private bathroom, room, living room, etc. Will def be coming back!
