Cool and cosy shack with private lake

This cool and cosy shack is a typical house of the small rural village of Bolton West that has been entirely renovated for a confortable getaway. It just outside of the beautiful town of Lac Brome/Knowlton.

The property features a fantastic private lake with a large deck and floating raft/island.

There are also many acres of trails for hiking around the lake and further in the woods/mountain around that are private to our guests.

This is a wonderful place. Clean, renovated and with a well furnished kitchen. Plenty of space to sit or move around. Trails in the backyard and a pond with kayaks, paddle boat,paddle board and canoe. Life jackets furnished. We took walks, enjoyed the village of Knowlton close .loved our trip. The owner is quick to respond and very helpful

Three of us, all women, all older. The house was perfect for us. Fully and extremely well equipped kitchen. Comfortable places to sit in the evening, all nicely furnished. Three bedrooms, two baths, all comfortable and suited us perfectly. The lake has kayaks, paddle board, nice seats, peaceful spot for reading, and some good short walks from the house. Knowlton a lovely little town. The Relais restaurant was excellent. Otherwise, the area was fun to explore and Knowlton made a fine central point. Wine country. Two weeks of artist open studios with really fine work, walks, beautiful flowers, a great farmer's market on Saturday. A really good week in a super country and a delightful host. I will return. Thank you Martin for everything.

PropretĂ© des lieux parfait et environnement charmant. par contre le chalet se trouve trop prĂšs de l'autoroute et malheureusement a cĂŽtĂ© d une carriĂšre. Donc pas aussi silencieux que souhaitĂ©!! J 'ai tout de mĂȘme apprĂ©ciĂ© mon sĂ©jour. Merci au propriĂ©taire de nous avoir permis d'habiter chez eux pour qlq jours.

Beau séjour!

Nous avons passé un beau séjour dans ce chalet. Le lac est vraiment chouette et privé! Le chalet était propre et confortable. Les communications avec le propriétaire étaient rapides et courtoises. La seule chose que je n'ai pas apprécié, c'est la proximité de la route.

Mid-week Trip

We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights Monday-Thursday. We had an amazing time with our dog, who especially loved the private pond. The location is amazing, and the home itself is very clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful house, and we had a terrific week. The lake is gorgeous, even though it was too cold to swim. Just sitting on the dock was a treat.

Ski vacation in Eastern Townships

We selected the cottage based on central proximity to the 4 Eastern Township ski hills. It worked perfectly as all hills were 25-30 mins away with Knowlton being only a few miles away to accomodate all our shopping. The cottage provided everything we needed, and we quickly felt very much at home. The home was clean, very spacious for all our ski stuff, and the kitchen was well appointed with every gadget imaginable. I definitely recommend the property.

Relaxing Getaway Location

This spot worked out perfectly for us (two couples). Location was perfect for our visit to Knowlton. Not fancy, but very cozy. Beds and linens comfortable, kitchen well-quipped, and seating dining rooms ample. Bonus to have outdoor seating and BBq and access to a pond! Exactly as described!

Beau chalet, beau lac

Chalet trĂšs propre, bien Ă©quipĂ©. Les plus : lits confortables, des chevreuils qui mangent les pommes dans la cour, la table de pique-nique, le bbq, les vestes de flottaison, le paddleboard, les kayaks et le pĂ©dalo, la tranquillitĂ© du lac, la proximitĂ© de l’épicerie et d’une microbrasserie (Knowlton&Co). Mes enfants ont adorĂ© aller Ă  la pĂȘche aux mĂ©nĂ©s et aux grenouilles avec des seaux. Les moins : le voisin bruyant (de l’équipement qui fonctionnait Ă  tous les jours de la semaine, sauf le weekend oĂč lĂ  c’était plutĂŽt des motocross) et la proximitĂ© de la route oĂč des vĂ©hicules passent Ă  toute vitesse. Cela ne nous a pas empĂȘchĂ© de pleinement profiter du lac et du chalet.

Super endroit!

Le chalet est confortable et bien Ă©quipĂ©. Mais le joyau de l’endroit est le lac privĂ©. Il vaut la location Ă  lui seul. Nous avons adorĂ© notre sĂ©jour.

Magnifique mais bruyant

Magnifique domaine!! TrĂšs grand chalet, super propre, complĂštement Ă©quipĂ©. Super belle cours arriĂšre, nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© le bbq, et le lac! Vraiment le fun pour se baigner avec le quai au milieu du lac! Le seul dĂ©sagrĂ©ment Ă©tait le bruit des motocross sur le terrain voisin. Il semble y avoir un pit de sable amĂ©nagĂ© pour les motocross. Parfait si vous ĂȘtes adeptes de motocross
 trĂšs bruyant entre 10h et 18h les samedis et dimanches. Vraiment dommage parce que sinon tout est parfait pour dĂ©crocher et relaxer! Épicerie pas loin, microbrasserie aussi! Communication facile avec le propriĂ©taire.
