Absolutely amazing view!!! Great condo. Had everything we needed. Chris was easy to communicate with & gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again. Great walking trails & along the beach. Loved hearing the waves of the ocean!

Beautiful views and comfortable beds!

I stay at VRBOs and hotels frequently. This was one of the best in recent memory. The online listing is exactly as it is--beautiful condo on a bluff overlooking the ocean. The ocean access is a short walk as is a hiking path in the conservation area. The condo was clean and very, very comfortable. The beds and pillows were great! The property manager was not only responsive, but went above and beyond by dropping off binoculars when I asked if there were any! Wow! Will definitely rent here again!

The Headlands

The condo is set on top of a bluff overlooking the ocean, and commands wonderful views. The unit itself is very comfortable, with ample seating, and a nice gas fireplace for ambiance and additional heat. A real bonus is the front enclosed deck with seating and a great gas grill for barbecuing. The ocean facing balcony, while very nice, was often too windy to truly be able to enjoy, but again the views were outstanding. The kitchen leaves leaves something to be desired if you plan on doing a fair amount of cooking, as the stove is very old, and the numbers on the knobs are worn off, making it difficult to set the stove to the proper temperature. The bed in the primary bedroom is extremely comfortable. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom. The decor in the living/dining room is very nice, but the bedrooms are quite plain and not very welcoming. While the beach is very close by, one has to traverse a long trek up and down stairs and winding ramps to reach it. There is a nice albeit short, elevated walking path along Stands park that has nice views and doesn't require any steps,The host was very friendly and helpful, and we had a very nice stay in this condo.

Unbeatable Location and Incredible Views!

This stay was everything I hoped for and more. The location is incredible, with stunning views and a serene, peaceful atmosphere. I didn’t use the beach chairs or umbrellas, but I loved the easy access to the beach, which allowed me to enjoy daily walks. The calm surroundings were so rejuvenating, and I can’t wait to return! Side note: The pictures truly don't do this place justice.

Practically Paradise

This condo is in the most incredible location. The views are stunning. It is quiet & peaceful. We appreciated the ACs in the bedrooms. This home had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner provides plenty of beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. We enjoyed hiking down to the beach several times a day. We will certainly be back! **side note, the pictures do not do the place justice.

Marvelous Views

This property was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The only reason I cannot give it a 5-star review was that one grill was dirty and lacked propane and the other grill which had propene had a broken ignition system. There were several windows which were inoperable and stuck in the open position. Overlooking these issues our stay was marvelous and the views were beyond outstanding. We would rent again!

Everything You Need with Amazing View

Loved this VRBO home. Cool breezes and best view ever. Property mgr. great - even helped us carry bags down the stairs. Lots of nice touches that many places lack: very well stocked kitchen, lots of towels and linens, make-up mirror, heated bathroom floor, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels (always nice to replace what you use) and TVs with cable and smart options, good WiFi, directions and information on local activities, etc. Did I mention the view?!? Two great walks very near and even had a.c. and fireplace if you needed either one. Great neighborhood and designated parking. Perfect for a couple or a family with up to 2 kids. Used many VRBOs and this is one of my favorites. Thank you Chris and Jack for a wonderful two weeks. Loved your beautiful wood working Jack! ❤️ Debbie Hug

Amazing girl's trip!

The pictures cannot begin to do this property justice: breathtaking ocean and mountain views, gorgeous sunsets, at night we could see the lights all the way to LA. More than once, we were surprised by bold hummingbirds near the condo, a road runner outside our bedroom window, and owls gently hooting from the reserve off the back patio each evening. Brunch included views of lazy sea lions basking in the sun at the marina, dozens of feet from where we (safely) dined. Each morning we drank coffee and watched the surfers. Chris had a lot of info to offer us, to make sure we knew what the area had to offer! Clean, comfortable, beautiful condo in a lovely, charming seaside town. We loved every moment of our stay!

Heart stopping view

You park on your driveway, walk up a few steps to your gate, open it up and…wow. Just wow. The ocean stops you dead in your tracks and takes all your tension away. Just sit down and take it in. The place was clean and well equipped with a good kitchen, comfy beds, great shower and bath, towels galore and a gas fireplace to top it all off. The property manager was quick to respond as well to any questions. Just a great stay in Dana Point.

Fabulous Ocean Vistas

Incredible views of the Pacific Ocean from sun-up to sun-set. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and linens. Very responsive owner and property manager. Made for a wonderful week that we hope to repeat over and over again in the future! The proximity to the Nature Preserve and the steps leading down to the ocean was perfect! Loved staying in this condo!
