Lovey short stay

The little cottage was perfect for us. The size was good, the kitchen was lovely and having 2 bathrooms was so nice. The owners were so very gracious and helpful. It was a real plus to have the air conditioning, given the unusual heat this year. Definitely recommend this property, We hope to stay again :)

Charming & Perfect Cottage for Family Vacation

What an incredibly *special* rental cottage in Old Saybrook! Between the beautifully decorated accommodations, the thoughtfully curated hang out spaces (the patio, the fire pit, the "front room"), the exceptionally warm and friendly hosts, the primetime location walking distance to downtown, the list goes on...we could not be more thankful for this stay. Our young family will absolutely be staying here again. Will recommend this property to anyone who wants an upscale, wonderful cottage that checks every box for comfort and then some!

Ladies Reunion

Adorable,very nicely appointed cottage in a great area. So many things to do! Quiet, safe, everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. Maybe updated cookware and deep cleaning of fake plants would help with dust. What a truly lovely experience! The Cashmere Cottage was absolutely beautiful—full of charm, warmth, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home from the moment we walked in. We had the best time catching up with dear friends in such a cozy, welcoming space.A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful host for making our stay so special. Your kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and we felt incredibly well taken care of throughout our visit. I sincerely hope to stay at The Cashmere Cottage again in the future. Twice and Just as Nice!

This was our second stay at the Cashmere Cottage and it was again, the perfect location for us to visit with friends and return to some of our favorite places, restaurants and enjoy the outdoor spaces offered at the cottage. We will certainly return! The cottage is extremely comfortable and we love the changes/additions you made to it.

Better than expected!

To tell you this was an amazing experience is an understatement. The communication with the property owner was excellent, to the cuteness of the property being exactly what the pictures looked like - honestly the pictures didn't do it justice, better in person. The town is soo cute and great eating. My friend and I said we want to come back once a year to get out of the city to stay at the cottage. Would book in a heart beat again and suggested to friends as well. Thank you for letting us stay in your fabulous property :)

Exceptional Stay!

My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway. We love to be around water. I stumbled upon this beautiful town in Old Saybrook Connecticut. The Cashmere Cottage is the cutest place to stay. Everything you need is at the tip of your fingers. Our host Lynn was very accommodating. She honored our requests and responds promptly. The cottage was so clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend Cashmere Cottage to friends and family.

Cozy little cottage

Our family had a great stay here. The cottage is warm, cozy, and very comfortable. It’s within easy walking distance of downtown Old Saybrook. The master bedroom is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The decor is excellent and adds to the overall comfort level. The Kitchen is well stocked with everything that you might need to make a meal. Communication with owners was great. We would definitely stay here again. Overall, it’s pretty perfect.

Wonderful Experience

The Cashmere Cottage was exactly as advertised! Rick and Lynn were easy to work with and thought of anything and everything you might want or need in a short term rental. Beautiful escape in Old Saybrook

My family had a wonderful stay at the Cashmere Cottage! It’s a beautifully done little home and was the perfect place to stay in Old Saybrook. We loved all the different textures, colors and accents put into making this such a warm and welcoming place. Our 4-year old loved the bunk beds, and the master suite has everything we needed. It’s not the most little kid-friendly place, but we spent most of our time out and about. We didn’t really use any of the outside items, but there’s a full set of dining table and chairs, and an awesome solo stove for a nighttime fire. If it wasn’t so hot in the summer evenings, we’d definitely have used it! It was a short walk into the town center, which is very quaint, and the drives to other beach areas were very short. Our trip was unfortunately cut short by two days because of the potential Hurricane Henri, but Lynn and her husband were very understanding and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Old Saybrook and be close to downtown but not be on the beach.

Absolutely beautiful

This home is far and above any I have stayed in. The decor and comfort were excellent. The Pergola outside gave us many relaxing times. The only downside for us was the 2nd BRoom with bunk beds. Tight fit for an adult. Having 2 full baths so wonderful. The master bath so well designed. Short nice walk to town. Five star except for bunk beds

Great Relaxing Getaway!

The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The home was very clean when we arrived. Very close to town to stroll to for dinner, etc. Great for a couple or small family. Highly recommended!
