Disappointed

Great location. The updated kitchen and bathrooms were very nice, but the rest of the unit was old and outdated. The windows were so old that you had to use a wooden piece or rock to prop them open. One full bathroom is located off the kitchen, but there are no curtains in the kitchen so when you take a shower you need to wear a robe or be fully dressed when walking passed the windows. The grass in the fenced-in front yard had not been mowed in a very long time and was about 3 feet tall. Because of this I was not able to use it for my dogs. I was given stained towels, there was an ant issue when we arrived, the trash had not taken out, and the front screen door was broken. The AC split unit is located in the kitchen, but it did not cool down the living room. Overall I was very unhappy with this property especially for how expensive it was.

2 Vibes in One (Great and Not so Great)

Good spot, great location, BUT: 2 totally different vibes in One unit. What do I mean? The New/remodeled part - (kitchen & bathroom) WOW, gorgeous (!), but the Older part was dingy, not too clean, and very cluttered (things in drawers, dusty old drapes, cardboard boxes & random lamps and chairs in living room) - in fact the sofas were covered with blankets when we arrived - strange! The old part of the house did not look bright and clean like the photos. I totally get it that the owner may not be able to remodel the whole place at once, but the pictures seemed a bit misleading. With just a bit of spiffing up (and cleaning) on the old side, we would have felt much more comfortable. Although it was great to have 2 bathrooms, please be aware that one bathroom is off the kitchen (and needs window coverings, unless you are an exhibitionist, lol!), the other is off the living room. Not a problem, just know that you will be walking a few steps out of your bedroom to get to the bathroom in the night. Bedrooms are on the small side with no closets (and odly we found a few things in the drawers and a vape pen in the couch. Pia was nice and to be honest, I did not share these thoughts with her during our stay as we were busy speding most of our time outside Provincetown. Provincetown was not our vibe, we much preferred Nantucket- wish we would have stayed there instead. But if you want P-Town, Pias location is ideal, just steps from the main drag, and close to the water.

Great home in PTown!

This home’s location can not be beat. It is close to great restaurants, shopping and also close to the pier for the Fast Ferry. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The beds were great. I loved that Pia allowed our dog to stay with us. It is a quiet area but also close to the water. We would definitely recommend the house to friends and stay there again.

Location was perfect! Condo was a great size with the outside space. Needs renovations. Our dogs loved it. Quiet and peaceful.

Nice property, good location

This is a nice older property, right in the heart of Provincetown. One of the bathrooms was recently renovated, but the rest of the place could use some updates. Otherwise, the unit was clean and well-stocked. The bed was very comfortable with high-quality sheets. Nice outdoor space and easy parking. Plus it's pet-friendly. Check-in was easy and the owner was very communicative. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Paradise in a great central location!

We have stayed at other VRBO locations in Provincetown, but this time we were traveling with friends, and needed larger accommodations. This property is centrally located, and for being close to Commercial Street, was quiet. The unit was large, and the private deck and patio off of the kitchen was used for morning coffee and refreshments after an active day on the Cape. We did make good use of the outdoor grill for a couple of our evening meals. The Kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The updated and larger of the bathrooms was a treat, not often experienced in Provincetown; the same holds true of the parking space with easy access to the unit. We only used the laundry once, so we could leave behind beach towels for other travelers, and were quite pleased to find a full-sized washer and dryer. Kevin was quick to respond to our inquires. We will be back in two years, and will definitely book this rental again!

Wonderful location. Charming home. Furnishings need updating.

Location is 10/10. House itself is a 10/10. House is past due for updates. Cleaning service should pay more attention to details. Overall we had a nice stay. The place has so much potential! Id love to see it remodeled, updated, and spotless!!

A slice of paradise in a fun town. Clean, comfortable and accommodating!

Fabulous location- could not ask for better. This charming property is filled with character and just steps away from Commercial Street and all it has to offer. A plus is that we could take our Yorkie along with us. Kevin was very accommodating and answered our questions in a very timely manner. This is a special oasis in a great town!

Great location and accommodations

Accommodations were very clean and close to the action. I liked that the neighbors were quiet and friendly. The owner was available throughout the weekend and quite helpful with quick responses to questions. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful place; wonderful location

This surprisingly spacious condo is in the center of all Ptown activity, yet still provides for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing vacation. We brought our dogs and they absolutely loved it. This is simply a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Location

We enjoyed this location very much. We have never stayed as centrally and were worried about noise. But there was none. Unit is simple but totally fine. Beds were very comfortable. Second new bathroom is beautiful. Kitchen has an electric stove we did not use. Parking is very easy!

Great location nice place to stay.

The place is quaint, typical for a P-town stay....but the new bathroom is amazing and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Kevin is responsive to any issues and very easy to deal with. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere BIG PLUS. We will stay here again.

Outstanding location, nice place

Overall, I thought the place was great. It was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean. Everything worked. The instructions on how to use everything were clear. The owner was responsive. I'd definitely stay there again. (But be warned that there's no dishwasher, in case you plan to do a lot of cooking.)

The place was clean and welcoming and there were even bottles of water in the frig. We had a great time photographing Halloween. Even though you are right in the heart of the action there was not much noise, even on Halloween! Comfortable beds, great media options. Could not have been better. We hear it is even pet friendly...

Wonderful location!

It was just the best to be able to park the car and walk to everything in PTown! The house is an older home, but it is large and roomy. I was staying with my brother, so space was important to us, and an easy parking space was such a bonus in PTown. Clean and well maintained. The beds were really comfy. There is a lovely little patio and yard area but unfortunately, the weather was not cooperative for enjoying the outside areas. Next time!

Awesome Location with Incredible Hosts

8 Court Street is the perfect location for enjoying all Provincetown has to offer and Kevin & Dennis could not have been more accommodating -- answering any questions we had about the area, the condo, etc. Situated only a block from Commercial Ave., you have only to walk outside to see a lovely view of the water. A variety of sitting areas on the premises beckon you to relax – whether it be on the cozy deck right outside the kitchen door or on the lovely patio below, complete with cushioned chairs, an umbrella, and a Weber grill. The air conditioned condo features two comfortable bedrooms and two full baths as well as a well equipped kitchen and living room. While the updated bathroom with over-sized shower was more luxurious, the small bathroom off the kitchen certainly had everything necessary for us all to get ready. The facilities are very clean and furnished with everything one might need for a home away from home. It is obvious the owners pay attention to details for the comfort of their guests. (Our only suggestion might be the addition of a comfy armchair in the living room.) Prior to arrival, renters are given directions to the condo, a list of items to expect by room, and instructions on how to operate everything -- from the TV, DVD, Cable Box, and Roku, to the WiFi access. It was really helpful to know that we didn't need to pack beach chairs/umbrella, had we had more time to utilize those items. We even had access to a washer and dryer -- had they been necessary. Since we were literally only minutes away from everything, we were able to do a trolley tour, a sunset dune tour, climb the Pilgrim Tower, and go on a wonderful whale watch, while still having ample time to shop and eat our way through Provincetown – all in three days. Whether you want a slice of pizza with an espresso shake at Spiritus Pizza, a delicious pastry with a cup of coffee at Connie's Bakery, or just great food and outdoor dining at Patio American Grill, Bubala's By The Bay, or the renowned Local 186, this is the perfect choice. It could not be more convenient. If you prefer to cook at "home," there is even a Stop & Shop and liquor store a few miles away. In addition to the awesome location and detailed documentation, it is noteworthy that my deposit was returned within a week! Thank you Kevin & Dennis for welcoming us into your home and making our first Provincetown visit a wonderful one. We can't wait to return!

Location! The Shower! The Location!!!

First and foremost: LOCATION! You really can't beat this folks. The Boatslip is less than two blocks away. When you finish your slice at Spiritus, you can just roll forward and you're in bed :) And then there's the bathroom. Sweet Jebus, the bathroom. This was my ninth stay in P*Town and I felt (for the first time) like I was in a spa. The back patio is also phenomenal. If you're like me and your week in P*Town is an annual highlight, it's worth the extra few $$ for a place like this. (The only caveat is that given the age of the house, the floors have some slope to them. If someone has mobility/ambulatory issues, take note).

Quaint and convenient, and hospitable owner

We had a great stay. The place is comfortable, quiet, and convenient, literally a one-minute walk from places we like to eat, like Cafe Heaven and Jimmy's Hideaway. There's a nice patio in back and an enclosed lawn where we let our dog run around. The place was very clean too.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

I LOVE THIS PLACE! You really can't find a better location -- right off of Commercial, basically in the back yard of SPIRITUS and so close to TDance that you can go home for a bathroom break :). Despite the closeness to the action, it was still very quiet and private. It was very clean and comfortable and the owner is fabulous. I not only recommend this place to anyone looking for a PTown vacation, but I am actually in the process of booking it again for our next stay. YEAH!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful vacation!

We have been coming to P-Town for almost three decades and have stayed in many different locations: inns, apartments and homes. This was our first time in this apartment and we were very pleased on many levels. First, the owners are marvelous! They are very sweet, helpful and welcoming. Second, the location of the apartment is fantastic. It's just a very short 1/2 block from Commercial Street, right around the corner from Spiritus. We could walk to town for our evening entertainment with ease and pick up our nighty ice cream treat from Spiritus with great joy! But don't be worried about its close proximity to town, it is very quiet! With the two bedrooms the apartment is just the right size for four people. I think you can manage with five or six, if you are family or close friends. The new bathroom is gorgeous! The kitchen is very functional, though we are pretty lazy on vacation and didn't take advantage of the cooking facilities! We enjoyed sitting on the little back deck with our morning cup of tea, very much. Overall, the apartment provided exactly what we needed and wanted. We would highly recommend staying here...but not during our week!

Cozy And Warm And Includes All You Need

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. We were there for Family Week and the location couldn't be beat! We were right near the major thoroughfare, close to all shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. Space was ample, everything was as stated in the listing. The property was well maintained - just WAIT till you see the master bathroom!! Stunning and serene! The owner provided excellent customer service before, during, and after our stay. For a warm, cozy, homey place to rest your head - we would definitely suggest this rental to family and friends.
