-When booking please do not leave a day that is non-bookable on either side of your stay. If you do, we may call you and see if you can adjust your vacation plans or we may not be able to rent. We only have approximately 115 days that we can possibly book and if every guest left a day or two on either side that is un-bookable, we could potentially lose out on half our season. Beautiful log cabin

This home was great for the 4 of us. Well stocked kitchen, easy access to Denali National Park and quiet despite being right next to an air strip.

Exceeded our expectations!

What a wonderful place to stay. The photos honestly do not do this house justice. It is a gem! It was clean, great communication and stocked with what you would need. The fun addition is the air strip near the house that you can watch planes taking off. If you have any airplane fans, this is the house for you! We highly recommend this to any families or couples going to Denali National Park.

Great place to stay near Denali

Cabin will easily accommodate 6 adults. Property is very clean and as advertised. Kitchen is well equipped and comes with a lot of different spices which really helps with cooking in. The owners are a pleasure to interact with. Distance to the Denali park entrance is probably a 10 minute drive.

Alaska Adventure

Had a wonderful time passing through and visiting Denali National Park! The cabin was perfect for us, great location and very clean and stocked with games, books, and beautiful decor:) Our hosts were responsive and extremely helpful providing a ton of great information on the area and local tours available… would highly recommend this property for an Alaskan Adventure…

Beautiful place near Denali

We loved the log cabin feel of this property. It was very clean and well stocked. It was near the airstrip so taking a tour was very easy. We also went to Denali for the day and this property was very welcoming after a long day. We ate at Mckinley Cabin Cafe & Bakery and the 49th Street Brewery (Healy). Both were excellent. Plenty to do near this property

The log house on Denali Airstrip is even better than the pictures! It was a wonderful place to stay- the hosts are super responsive and accommodating and the property is amazing. If you are planning a stay in the area, this is definitely the place to be!

Awesome Stay

I took my family to Alaska for my dad's 65th birthday and not a single thing (besides the fire in Denali NP) disappointed, especially the stay at Kelly's house at MP 229.5! The log cabin feel of the house was especially cozy, and my family was fascinated by all the pelts and aviation decor all around the house, which made it feel even more unique. Kelly was a great host, property was clean and well described - and the convenience of the Denali Air airstrip was an added bonus as we both watched AND flew in the planes there. Absolutely would come back!

The cabin is very nice, although the living room would be small for a group of six to congregate. Considering it never gets dark in the summer we would have liked shades on the front door window. We enjoyed watching the airplanes take off and land.

Best spot if you are visiting Denali National Park

Only a couple of miles from the front entrance of the park and a truly unique property ready for all your visiting needs while you explore everything that the area has to offer!

Excellent lodging!

Well-stocked with essentials. We even found bear spray (which saved us having to rent it) and bug spray. I brought laubdry and dishwasher soap, but they had both available. They even had big bittles of shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom. We stayed a week and it was the perfect basecamp for all of our exploring. It was very clean and all appliances eorked realky well. The firepit was a great touch, enjoyed by the adults for quiet morning coffee while the kids were still asleep and a great way to get the loud kids out of the cabin in the evening to make smores. The owners are incredibly responsive but did not invade our privacy at all during our stay. I strongly recommend this place to everyone.

The house is adorable, right next to the park entrance, perfectly distributed for three couples, fully equipped (though dishwasher did not work). We loved it.

Absolutely fantastic. The log cabin was super clean. The isolated location outside Denali was perfect. Although the gas fireplaces were not working, the host apologized and offered a small refund. (btw, still waiting for what we were offered.) Thanks.

How did we meet, Kelly had a job in Southeast Alaska 1991, I worked as a Ticket Agent. His work company would freight just about everyday, we started to chat and out on a date it was year 1991, we have been married since 1992.
We both enjoy our family time with our 3 wonderful children and enjoy our time with our 7 grandkids, Alaska will always be our home.

We have another VRBO just 2 miles off of the Denali highway, at Cantwell, and decided to buy another property to share. The Property at Cantwell is called "Gorgeous Lakeside Chalet" and if the log home isn't available, you may check this property out as well.
We wanted to open our 2 homes for other travelers to enjoy our Alaskan nature and relax at the same time.
