Make your Central Oregon vacation memorable while staying in this unique, Open-Beam, full wood interior, cozy Cabin. It is located in a peaceful, wooded neighborhood on 1.3 acres, just 10-15 min. from La Pine. (25 min. to Sunriver, 40 min. to Bend).

With a large trail system starting just half a mile from the Cabin, this is a great location for bringing your snowmobiles or OHVs. And with several lakes and rivers in the area, you may want to bring your favorite water craft :-). The Cabin has a convenient loop driveway for towing trailers.

This newly built Cabin is uniquely decorated to match the surrounding natural beauty of Central Oregon. Our Guests love the Open Beam construction, Wood, Rock & Tile finishes, Rustic Log Furniture and Decore.

The open concept living area is small, but cozy. The Kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, and is well stocked. Dining seats 4 at table, and 3 at the bar. Living room features a smart TV, sleeper sofa, recliners, and a woodstove. Firewood is provided Free of charge, but Guest is responsible for refilling the woodbox.

There is a large Sundeck w/ a picnic table & benches where you can enjoy outdoor meals-- including BBQs on the Treager. Or you may prefer to just relax in the Adirondack chairs w/ your favorite beverage, surrounded by the ponderosas. There is a propane firepit to enjoy evenings outdoors (Guest is responsible for purchasing propaned but tanks are provided).

On the Main Level, there is the Living Area, a small Bedroom, Full Bathroom, Linen closet, and Laundry (Washer/Dryer).

Upstairs there are two larger bedrooms which share a 3/4 bathroom fit with a custom tile shower. The largest Bedroom has a Balcony, and a small project table that can be used for games & puzzles. The other bedroom has a dedicated workspace (desk & office chair).

Each of the 3 bedrooms has a Queen Bed. One Bed has a FIRM Mattress, the other two have softer, 2" thick mattress toppers covering firm mattresses.

COOL WEATHER GUESTS: Firewood and Kindling is provided free of charge, but we request that you please refill the woodbox and kindling for the next Guest. The Housekeeper can provide this service for an additional $15.

SUMMER GUESTS: There is a newly installed A/C unit in the living room (Mini Split) and 4 fans. We recommend opening the windows to let in a cool breeze during the early morning and then keeping the doors, blinds and windows closed up during the heat of the day to keep the place comfortably cool.

Wonderful Getaway

What a great trip! The house was clean and cozy. The owners had great communication and continued to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was a perfect place to watch the snow fall. We will definitely return.

Absolutely Perfect

We came for a weekend to visit friends in the area. The cabin was absolutely amazing. It snowed the day before we got here and again while we were. It just added to our stay! It was so peaceful and lovely! We have a great time!

Lazott Cabin week

Lazott Cabin First off, our host Summer is great, really cares, and has excellent communication. The Lazott Cabin is amazing. Seems 100% new, despite being 5yrs old. Amazing attention to detail. We’ll laid out. Good sized rooms. For being in a neighborhood it’s situated to feel like camping and the lot is a great size. All the things you need are here, and then some. Was great to park our boat in the garage while off exploring. Fishing is 20 min away. Crane Prairie Res is highly recommended. Lots of rivers for fly fishing purists. Day hike options were endless and uncrowded. Smith Rock Park is a must! Will be back!

Great stay in this wonderful cabin.

This cabin is wonderful. Really is in a forrest and very relaxing. Everything was very clean. We didn’t get to take advantage of all the fun stuff as we were visiting my sister down the road. Such as bikes and outdoor deck with fire pit. We will definetly be back.

A perfect getaway

I usually do not take the time to do reviews but our stay definitely deserved the time to share our experience. You pull up to this quaint cabin. For us, the area was covered in snow and the manager had the driveway plowed. The outside looked exactly like a cabin should. A very pitched roof and lots of wood. The inside was just as beautiful. Wood floors, wood walls and a beautiful wood burning fire place, which warmed the place up very nice. The beds where comfortable, sheets soft, it was very quiet…it was all the things I’d hoped for. The kids and I had a wonderful time and a great memory. Thanks for everything.

A Winter Wonderland

It was the perfect escape and place to celebrate mom’s 60th Birthday. The home was exceptionally clean and they provided so many nice amenities. The property is stunning especially with a layer of fresh snow. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed our nightly walks/runs. The home is very comfortable and decorated beautifully. We did not have a single issue. Everything you could need aside from food is provided for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owners were extremely kind and very easy to communicate with. We could not recommend this property more and cannot wait to return in the future.

Last minute get away

Very nice property and well located. The hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating. Everything was perfect from a well appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture, access to bicycles and a Traeger pit, etc. Dog friendly, too! This was the base for my wife, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and me. We spent time at Paulina Lake and the attractions near it as well as some other area attractions. The owners supply coffee for the drip coffee maker but if you bring your own there is a bean grinder. Highly recommend this property!

Cozy peaceful cabin

We were so excited to have stayed here, it's in a beautiful area! Enjoyed drinking my coffee on the deck hearing the sounds of nature! Everyone was comfortable and the cabin met all our needs! It was close to scenic locations, we were able to see cascade lakes, just beautiful and went water rafting! Look forward to staying there again!

Simply lovely! Well appointed home with helpful, accessible host. So glad we visited the Desert Museum and obsidian fields. Tip: the rice cooker, crock pot & electric fry pan are in the base cabinet accessible on the bar stool side of the counter.

Beautiful retreat in a great location!

This cabin was a delight to spend our small family gathering at to reunite the grandparents and kiddo. Everything was beautiful and there were such lovely details throughout the cabin. It was super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating out on the deck and taking walks with our dog as well as visiting nearby sites like the High Desert Museum and Newberry Volcano. The kitchen was perfect for family meals with everything you would need and then some! Our host, Summer, was very helpful and replied quickly to our questions (which were so answered in the guide she sent in advance!) We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed this cabin very much. It was clean, well stocked. We came down for Memorial Day weekend Wed- Monday. 5 nights. This was dog friendly, was able to bring 2 of my pooches. The cabin was so adorable we kept mentioning how much we wish we owned it! It was my husband and i and our two friends. It was a perfect location as we came down with our dirt bikes and our Side by Sides to go trail riding. We explored Millican OHV (north of the cabin) and Three Trails OHV (South of the cabin). Summer our host mentioned that there is local riding on the BLM land north of the cabin. We unfortunately, didnt get a chance to explore those, but for sure next time!! There was tons of different riding locations near by. Felt like 5 days was not enough! We got hit with a little cold weather and some rain, so we got to use the wood stove in the living room. The only thing that would make it a little better is a nice firepit outside and maybe some better steps off that patio in the rear. It was lovely to be able to use the garage. All in all, this was a great cabin. Quiet and cozy! LOVED IT!

Very comfortable home

Pine Tree Paradise

Hi! My name is Summer and my husband and I live in a small town near Portland, OR with our two young kids. We purchased this property in 2017 and designed and built the cabin over the next 3 years...doing the majority of the labor ourselves. My-in-laws are joint owners of the property. When we aren't working, or building something, we enjoy hiking, camping, sightseeing, taking the kids to the river, gardening, motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends.
