This 4 bedroom / 3.5 bathroom home is located in a quiet neighborhood and has access to the community pool along with the wide, peaceful shores of the south end of the peninsula. Built on the ground level, access to the home is as easy as walking in the front door. The ground level has a master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bath. The 1st floor is where you’ll find the living area, views of the horizon from two furnished decks, and a second bedroom with a private bathroom. The 2nd floor is where you'll find two more bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Bring the family, bring your friends, bring whoever wants to have fun on the beach.

Ground level – covered/paved parking; table/chairs and gas BBQ; entry way and Bedroom 1 – master bedroom with king bed, flat screen TV, full bath with double vanities and Jacuzzi tub, access to the back patio with sun loungers and an outdoor shower.

1st level – kitchen with an island and self-closing cabinets, dining area, living room with flat screen TV, DVD player, fire TV, Netflix and access to the two furnished decks, laundry closet with stackable W/D, half bath / powder room, Bedroom 2 – queen bed and full bath with double vanities and shower.

2nd Level – Bedroom 3 – bunk sets and trundle (Full/Full beds, with Twin Trundle) has Jack and Jill full bath with shower/tub combo that connects to Bedroom 4 – king bed and flat screen TV.

Great stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location being just 15ish minutes to PSJ and just minutes from places further up the Cape. The screened in deck is wonderful for sitting at night enjoying the sound of the waves. The ceiling fans are dimmable making it just the right amount of light. I highly recommend using the equipment rental credit and getting the beach cart. With the bicycle wheels it makes for an easier trip down the short road to the boardwalk and is better in the sand than some of the wagons.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blue turtle bliss is in a prime location, just a few blocks away from the boardwalk to the ocean. The outside of the house could be cleaned up especially the carport area, bathrooms could use actual shampoo and conditioner and some liquid soap. These small things would add a lot to the property. We enjoyed all of the outdoor decks and patios, kitchen fully stocked. May want to alert guests to bears and wolves in the area since we had one on one of the nights we were there. Overall we would recommend this house!

Perfect Family Getaway

The walk to the beach was short and very pretty! We loved the pool and the views from the beach. The staff at Coastal Joe were extremely helpful and kind. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful House

The house is beautiful, plenty of room and super comfy beds. Check in / out was super easy, literally just pick up and drop off. For the price charged it's too far from the water. They accurately list "5 minute walk" but it's a pretty intense walk. Hills, intense heat and loose sand make it very difficult especially carrying gear. You can find cheaper or the same price closer to the water at other beaches..

Never Again

This ended up being an awful experience for us. We have been coming to this area for almost 20 yrs. Everything from the check in (Coastal Joes) to the home was a disappointment. Coastal Joes did credit us back our first night since we couldn’t get in until 6pm and the cleaners were still there. That was an entire day wasted. Once there, the weeds were waist high. We could use none of the outdoor space including the grill. When I called to address this I was told that they had trouble getting anybody to come out to mow. Rats were present running through the weeds and under the deck and grill. Rats attract snakes which we had the pleasure of running off the carport. This home had potential but has not been taken care of. Also, it is a half mile to the beach which can be difficult pulling a wagon.

Not what we expected

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time I've ever left a vacation rental after only one night. This home was not dirty... it was filthy! We arrived at 4:15pm and was told that the cleaning crew was still onsite cleaning. It was suggested that we go ahead and grab a bite to eat and the management company would text us when it was ready. At 5:30pm we still had not heard anything so we went back to the office and was told the crew was still there but could go to the house and wait outside until they finished. Twenty minutes later, we were able to get inside. Everything looked in order but on closer inspection we found a shoe and trash (including a clipped fingernail) on the deck outside the main living area. The dining table was gross, the floors had dirt (food) and footprints all over them. The rugs had not been vacuumed (food crumbs and other items on the rugs). The upstairs shower was littered with pieces of sea shells and what looked like dried toothpaste on the shower faucet. The bathroom floor was also dirty (looked like dried urine). I could go on but I think you get my point. I contacted the rental office but they were closed... left a message that we would see them as soon as they opened in the AM. We took pictures of everything and shared with the manager. We were offered a different home but we were so upset that we asked for a refund so that we could leave. They obliged but charged us for 2 nights (only in the house for 19 hours). Oh yes, and the AC does not work properly. 1st and 3rd floors are freezers and main living floor is an oven. While the property manager was nice and understanding, we were shocked and disgusted at the lack of cleanliness of this property. I hope things have been rectified by now. We would have enjoyed our stay were it not for the filth.

Clean the outside of the property!

The outside of the property was horrible. Outside looked like an abandoned home. Inside was very clean. Couldn’t walk to the beach because of standing stagnant water over a foot deep in the road leading to beach. Had to drive to a public beach. Do not waster your money ridiculous.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great. It was clean and very comfortable. It had all the kitchen equipment one would need if cooking any meals at the house and the furniture was comfortable. It wasn’t a very large house but there was plenty of room with five adults and two small children. We did have an issue with the AC. The top and bottom levels were comfortable but the middle level ( the bedroom and the bathroom) was warm. We could not feel any air coming out of the vents. I called to report it and they were going to send someone over. It never seemed to get any cooler in the bedroom or bathroom. So I was not sure if anyone came out or not. Thank goodness we took a fan. The house location is in a very nice neighborhood. It is a rather long walk to the beach especially with two small children. We tried to rent a golf cart and we tried to buy a permit to drive on the beach. To get on the beach using the golf cart you would have to drive on the road and that is illegal. So we could not rent a golf cart. When we tried to get a car permit to drive on the beach no more permits were being issued. So that was one issue that could not be fixed. We did have a problem with the landscape. The grass all around the house was very tall and grown over. We had small children so I was very uncomfortable letting them play outside. It was a nice yard it just needed maintenance.

Nice vacation, perfect weather

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation with our family at Cape San Blas. My parents rented a home on the same street, but slightly closer to the beach. The home was about 500 meters from the beach, which was a bit more than expected; however, the wide sandy beach and the boardwalk were both beautiful. We ended up driving to the state park the last 2 days of our week for the clearer/emerald waters...simply beautiful! The water on the Indian Pass side is not quite as clear, but we still enjoyed the uncrowded beaches and its own beauty. The house itself was nice. Not large, but the space was maximized and we had plenty of sleeping spaces, which really is all we need as we spend almost all of our time at the beach. It is also an easy drive to restaurants, ice cream, and shopping. Salinas park with pickle ball and volleyball was only 1 mile away. The only fault we had with the house itself was the AC. Managment sent someone out promptly and it definitely improved; however, I do not think it was working as it should. The upstairs never felt below upper 70's. Overall we had a great week!

Our Hurrication

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We evacuated here during a hurricane at home and it became a lovely "hurrication." We originally planned to stay for 3 nights assuming we'd be able to get home after that. When we couldn't, the management was so kind to extend our stay at a discounted rate and the owners even gave us a night for free. They were genuinely concerned for my family and home. We truly appreciated it!!The house was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The living area is a little small if you have a large group but the decks add enough extra space. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice and very comfortable. It is an easy walk to the little pool in the community. The walk to the beach is a little longer but still very easily walkable. I would bring a wagon to roll your beach gear down.We were very happy with the accommodations under our evacuation circumstances but if coming for a vacation, my only issue would be that there was a lot of water surrounding the property. We drove to the pool and beach even though it's easily in walking distance because there was flooding on the street and at the end of the driveway. I think this was due to several days of heavy rain and probably is not normally an issue.Cape San Blas is beautiful, relaxing and lovely! We love the Indian Pass Raw Bar. There is a great short hike in the state park that ends in the bay area. The kids found tons of hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs, fish & even a couple rays.We had a lovely time and would rent here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation home is well appointed and has nice furnishings. The master on the main has a bathroom but no shower or closet. The homes location in proximity to the beach is well described (5 min walk), the walk, however, is pretty daunting when trying to lug beach toys and a toddler. The home sits in a low lying area that maintains water all around it. When we arrived there was deep water across the road leading to the beach and pool. The water was hot and dirty, making the trek to the beach even more adventurous. By the time we left, the water had receded to allow about a one foot space to walk on the edge. The beach itself was gorgeous and sparsely populated. Overall the home was great, close to town and on a secluded street. The cons for us were enough that we would not stay again, primarily due to the cost in relation to beach proximity and layout with only 2 showers for 11 people.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I want to start off by saying that unfortunately this property was not our first choice. Our original booking was sold and we were notified a month before our trip offering a refund or a few other alternative vacation rentals that did not meet our needs. Coastal Joe management were very apologetic but unfortunately there were no other comparable properties still available. This property became available last minute. Having said that we were probably just dissatisfied before even arriving. The bedroom on the ground level did not have a shower, only a garden tub. We had to go upstairs daily to shower. There weren't TVs in 2 of the rooms. Only one towel and washcloth per person so we had to wash towels often. The walk to the beach was 1/4 mile. We have never been to Cape San Blas and did not expect the beach to have brown water. All the pictures showed beautiful blue water. Unsure if it was just the location where we were staying. We drove to PCB 2 days in a row for a prettier beach and more food options. This location just didn't fit for our family but someone else may have totally enjoyed the area.

It was good overall

The house was nice and clean. The only thing is they need to fix is the drive way it rained while we were there and almost the entire drive way was under water from 1”-6” deep we were glad we all drove trucks!

Property advertised as Sleeps 11. However one person was to sleep on a sectional sofa with no sheets. Sheets were not made up on top bunk nor were sheets provided for trundle bed in bunk room. When we registered our guests, we provided 11 names. There were not enough towels for each guest to have at least ONE towel/washcloth. Floors were disgusting. -Upstairs had not been vacuumed (pet hair from previous renters) -Rugs were not washed, nor vacuumed or mopped under throw rugs. -Stairs covered in pet hair and dirt. No dusting had taken place. Top of fridge which had to be used for food storing had many months of dust. Downstairs room only had a tub, no shower. Had to use outside shower. Also there was no closet space for downstairs bedroom, dresser for clothes storage only. Seating in living room was very tight. Definitely could not accommodate 11 people. The A/C is controlled by the owner. Cannot lower temperature below 68F. When cooking the whole house was hot. Night time temps were programmed to 70C. Upstairs bedrooms remained hot all the time. Kitchen decently equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans. However, several trays in fridge door were broken so it limited efficient storage capacity in the fridge. Property is a long walk from the beach and the main road holds water…water that sits and is disgusting to walk through. What we paid for the house was definitely not worth it, therefore we won’t return nor do we recommend.
