This recently renovated 1,300 square foot 3 bed / 2 bath Northern Michigan cottage is located in the heart of Harbor Springs, offering easy access (13 min walk) to both the charming downtown main street and the turquoise blue waters of Lake Michigan.

COTTAGE: The extremely efficient open floor plan can comfortably sleep and entertain up to 6 guests.

LIVING AREA: Perfectly designed to meet all your summer vacationing needs.
- Living room and kitchen offer a spacious open floor plan with sliding glass doors for easy deck access and a big screen smart TV with major network / cable channels (casting/streaming ready)
- The pristine kitchen includes a large island with seating for 7 people + new kitchen appliances with an INDUCTION cooktop.
- A side mudroom entrance with cubbies and hooks for sandals and towels + newer full-size washer & dryer
- A large splinter-proof deck with plush Sunbrella deck furniture, relaxing Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill
- The spacious deck offers both sunny and sheltered areas for those looking to avoid direct sun or rain, offering a lovely outdoor spot to sit even during showers

BEDROOMS: The downstairs bedroom includes a beautiful queen white four-poster bed, fresh white linens, and a luxurious linen duvet. This room is extremely cozy -- trust us. Upstairs are 2 additional bedrooms, one with white pine bunk beds and the other with a queen size sleigh bed and charming pitched ceiling. All beds have nice linens.

BATHROOMS: 2 updated bathrooms (larger one upstairs, smaller one downstairs), both with walk-in showers.

LOCATION & ACTIVITIES:
- Dining & Shopping: downtown Harbor Springs has coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, and charming storefronts (13-minute stroll from the cottage)
- Movies: The inviting Lyric Theatre offers comfy seats, beer/wine, and popcorn for a summer movie night (13-minute walk)
- Scenic walks: Walk down the street toward town to Bluff drive to enjoy stunning views of Harbor Point and Little Traverse Bay (10-minute walk)
- Scenic drives: The Tunnel of Trees (M-119) begins in Harbor Springs, and is considered one of the most beautiful drives in the US
- Swimming: 2 public beaches within walking distance (5 and 15-minute walks)
- Kayaking & paddle boarding: 2 kayaks come with the cottage (in garage) and can be transported in your vehicle 2-minutes to Zoll beach + paddle board rentals available in town
- Public Park & Skate Park: The fun never needs to stop with frisbee, pickleball, basketball, skateboarding, or picnicking overlooking Little Traverse Bay right across the street
- Relaxing views: sit on the wood bench in the park across the street for a relaxing view of the harbor

Harbor Springs Happy Place

Mary Sue and Bruce: Best hosts, attention to detail, welcome wine, superb house, all the amenities, boat house decor, fantastic kitchen, wonderful beds, outdoor spaces, kayaks, bikes, grill, walk to beach and town. All you could ask for made this the most enjoyable week one could experience in the idyllic lakeside town of Harbor Springs. Beautiful!

This home is perfect! There are so many touches that made our stay very comfortable. Entire home is completely remodeled. Very comfortable living area for our family of 5. Kitchen easy to use with all necessary utensils. Patio was wonderful to relax on. Lots of seating. I wish it was a tiny bit closer to town but the weather was perfect so the walk was manageable. We went to Petoskey State Beach several days because the kids liked the bigger beach and waves. Highly recommend this property!

Great house and location!

I stayed here with 4 adults for 5 nights. We found the house to be really comfortable and cozy. The back porch and the kitchen island made for really good congregating spots. From the minute we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great place. The kitchen was very well stocked for us to make meals at home. The bathrooms were really clean and set up well. The home overall was very clean and well organized. It was an easy walk to downtown from there and the Harbor Grocery store is just down the road. Communicating with Mary Sue was great! They have set up their rental to be easy to use, starting with the great introduction email and instructions. I would happily stay here again.

Perfect rental in Harbor Springs!

This place has everything you need. The owners are extremely accommodating and check-in was a breeze. The location can’t be beat. You are across the street from a community park where our kids loved to skate and we all played pickle. Kayaks and bikes offered were icing on the cake. We will be back!

Perfect

This house was more than we could have ever imagined for our vacation to Harbor Springs. From the moment we booked, Bruce and Mary Sue reached out with tons of helpful information, went above and beyond to accommodate extra requests and needs we had, and they were available at all times with anything else we needed. Their house was picture perfect and comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 toddlers. We enjoyed walking downtown almost every night and loved having the park across the street with the kids. The cottage was super clean, beautifully updated, beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was spectacular, and we loved sitting on the back porch every night. We will 100% stay here again next time we visit Harbor Springs.
