Nice, comfortable home and perfect location by tunnel of trees and to get to various beaches. There was a bouquet of flowers at the house when we arrived which was such a lovely touch! Would absolutely stay again :)

Amazing location: Very quiet and 10 min drive from nature walks and beach. Pet friendly and clean place with all the amenities provided including all the basics for cooking and BBQ. We would definitely go back again.

Erin was fantastic and the house was everything we could wish for. Very comfortable, well stocked with everything you might need, and great location very close to fantastic beaches on Lake Michigan as well as beautiful nature preserves along M119 (tunnel of trees). We loves sitting on the back deck watching a summer meteor shower too. Will definitely come back in the future.

The house is gorgeous and clean. The only issue was only half the plugs work, so we had to switch rooms a couple times and figure out how to plug everything in to charge or work. My dear husband set a bag on the binder for the entire stay, and I didn’t know it existed until we were walking out. The binder tells you where the outside trash can is, but the rules posted in the kitchen do not.

The Quiet Crane is a relaxing space on beautiful land. The beds are tremendous and it’s a wonderful spot for stargazers and beach goers. The home is beautifully arranged.

When I’m not helping clients as a realtor or designing homes, you’ll usually find me snowmobiling, riding side-by-sides, watching sunsets, hunting for beach glass, hiking through the woods, or relaxing by the lake. I love this area deeply and know all the best hidden spots to explore.

Nature inspires everything I do—including my rentals. I use driftwood, stones, plants, and other natural elements in my dĂ©cor because I want each space to feel peaceful, earthy, and connected to the outdoors. I’m also a big fan of vintage and thrifted treasures—those one-of-a-kind pieces with character that make a place feel like home.

Hosting isn’t just a side job for me—I truly enjoy creating warm, welcoming spaces where guests can relax, slow down, and make memories. I take pride in the little touches, great design, and a clean, cozy atmosphere.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I chose this neighborhood because it captures everything I love about Northern Michigan. It’s peacefully tucked away in nature, yet close to all the best things our area has to offer.

I love being just minutes from the water—Good Hart Beach has some of the most stunning sunsets I’ve ever seen. The ORV and snowmobile trails are right nearby, which makes it perfect for outdoor adventures all year long. The Good Hart Nature Preserve is also close, and it’s one of my favorite spots for hiking and quiet morning walks.

One of the things that made me fall in love with this property is the yard—huge old maple trees, fresh air, and a beautiful open hayfield view that feels like pure peace.

It’s the perfect blend of woods, water, sunsets, and small-town charm
 and I love being able to share that experience with my guests.

What makes my property unique is its character—you don’t see homes like this very often anymore. It was built in the 1970s and still has so much of its original charm, especially the sunken living room, which is my absolute favorite feature. It’s cozy, nostalgic, and perfect for relaxing or gathering with friends and family.

The large windows let in an incredible amount of natural light and make the whole space feel warm and connected to nature. I’ve decorated the home with carefully chosen vintage and thrifted pieces that honor the era of the house, giving it a stylish, one-of-a-kind personality.

It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with light, character, and a touch of retro charm.
