Great Condo with Awesome porch

This was a great place to stay for a quick weekend trip back to Raleigh. The owner/property manager was very helpful and quick to respond.

Great for work travel

Near North Hills and downtown Raleigh. Easy access. Recommend taking a walk around Shelly Lake nearby.

Great Location!

The location of this condo was awesome. It was close to everything. It took us less than five minutes to get to where we need to go daily. it also had a nice layout. The only con was the neighbors were loud a couple of nights. But everything else was awesome… I appreciate the fact that they had spices for us to prepare on our own meals and complementary snacks and coffee was very comforting. I would stay there again.

Raleigh

Our family went down to see other family. First time in that area. The condo was close proximity to everything. We enjoyed the Marble Museum and the Science Museum. The property manager responded very promptly to any issues, which were in fact very minor issues. Stay was perfect and we would stay here again.

Do not stay here

This homeowner charged our travel insurance almost $500 because their toilet stopped up and for some towels and washcloths that we absolutely did NOT take with us. They were determined to get more money out of us. We regret staying here.

Not really Upscale

The location within the city and the neighborhood are good, but the complex and the apartment itself are not upscale by any means. The nature around is beautiful thoug, we enjoyed the view of the pond and the trees from the balcony. The beds are comfortable, but, the matresses had plastic protection covers that made noises at every move.

Pros: Clean, plenty of room, nice 2nd floor balcony, quiet area, easy parking, place feels safe Cons: Queen mattress in master bedroom is completely worn out (this tipped it into the "3" rating for me, so if you like ultra-soft mattresses, ignore this criticism), kitchen lacks many basic cooking supplies, overall poor lighting, worn-out furniture (kitchen table wobbles, couch springs broken, etc).

Convenient, Clean and Comfortable

We stayed here when in Raleigh to celebrate Thanksgiving with my son and fiancé. We couldn't all stay at their house so we used the condo for sleeping. It was very convenient to our son's place, was comfortable, quiet and clean. It was as described and we would stay here again. The host was quick to respond to messages, checking in and out was easy and they left lots of goodies for us. Definitely will stay here again when in the area.

Perfect - Nice extra touches

We attended an event in downtown Raleigh for 4 days (Thurs - Sunday). This home was only a 20 minute - very easy - car ride. Additionally - Lafayette Village is about 4 miles away too (cute shopping village that I love to visit when I can). Many options for food nearby if you don't want to cook. But, Paris has a beautiful, well stocked (pots, pans - griddle pan, cooking utensils, etc..) kitchen if you do. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable!! I slept very soundly which is not always the case when traveling. The little touches: There is a table at the front door with food brochures and a bowl of candy. In the kitchen, there is a snack basket (Chips, microwave popcorn, crackers). There was a basket in each bathroom that contained the little things that make a difference. Did you forget to pack your tooth paste? There is a small package in there to use until you go to Walmart (just about 3-4 miles away) or Food Lion (about a mile away). Oops, forgot a razor, there is a disposable one in the basket along with some sample size shampoo & cute soap. There is a pool - which was very nice. The neighborhood seemed pretty quiet - I mean we were there on a weekend and there were no issue with noise.

Nice condo with amenities in a Great location

We traveled to Raleigh to meet our daughter for an apartment search. This location was ideal. The host offered great hospitality such as keyless entry, toiletries and pool pass. Other amenities include ample parking, a deck with a view of the pool close by.

Short vacation with family

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The pool had just opened and was greatly enjoyed by my teenage grandsons. Short distance to movies, restaurants and planned activities.

Two main issues

Property was clean and pretty much as described. Our major complaint is aesthetic. The property receives little light. And with all rooms painted with dark paint, the unit seemed very gloomy. And we've never encountered bedsheets as thin as those on all the beds. I was fearful of ripping the top sheet every time I adjusted my position in the bed.

Christmas Trip

We rented the condo to visit with family in the Raleigh area. It was convenient to restaurants and everything North Raleigh has to offer. We enjoyed our stay.

Needs more kitchen items

We had planned to cook some breakfast here. But the kitchen was lacking a few items. Spachulas no toaster. Not many pans. But the location was a few minutes from my sons house. So that was great.

Raleigh retreat!

This property was exactly what our family needed for our stay to visit our son. There was plenty of space, it was very clean, and there were TVs in every room. We loved the balcony and watching the Canadian geese on the pond. We had some difficulty gaining access to get into the unit, but The homeowner was very friendly and helpful in working with us and her communication skills were great.
