Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.

Lots of natural light shines throughout this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa, just steps away from the Salty Dog.

You’ll love the recently renovated kitchen, which is located just off the foyer. All overlooking the open-concept living and dining room and out to the Calibogue Sound.

The master bedroom consists of a king bed, a walk-in closet, and an attached master bathroom. The master bathroom is nicely renovated with a custom tiled walk-in shower. The guest bedroom consists of a king bed. The guest bathroom is also fully renovated and has a cute tile with a tub and shower combination. Both bedrooms have views of the water.

Please note, there is no elevator access to the villa.

Please Note: The complex is currently replacing balcony handrails throughout the complex. While this unit is not directly affected, there will be construction activity and noise during this time. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October.

Walk to the tennis, pickleball courts, and the beach. Or simply enjoy the views from the balcony, watching the wildlife and boats on the water, while listening to the music from the South Beach Marina!

Good family vacation

It would be nice if there is a pool for us to use without paying exra.The toilet was making noises for the first couple nights, but it was gone about mid way through our staying. I called maintenance line to check on toilet noises, they were very responsive, thank you. Inside condo, very musty smell, not sure where it is from. Overall, we enjoyed being at the condo and would stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location for morning and evening walks. Fishing near the sound was awesome. We liked to go at low tide. This is also a great location, not just for the beach, but for close shops, restaurants, and tennis or pickleball. We easily biked to the lighthouse in extreme heat due to the shade of the trees. The condo itself was immaculately clean! No traces of other guests such as spices or food left in cabinet. Even the kitchen towels and potholders seemed brand new. Very quiet location and away from crowds. We would love to go back!

Perfect spot to enjoy Hilton Head!

We loved our stay in this rental. The view of Calibogue Sound is especially stunning in the evenings! 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again with my family.

Great location, disappointing condition...

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is in a great location, and the interior furnishings were adequate... however, the floors were filthy dirty, the sheets and comforters had stains on them, and the unit had a horrible odor of mustiness - mold/mildew. The smell would not go away, even after I had 4 Febreze Air Fresheners delivered from Amazon! Would not stay here again. Highly recommend management/owner to investigate the origination of odor and have it corrected.

Villa versus Condo

1809 Bluff Villas is part of six buildings, each 3 story, condo units probably built in the 70s when inside doors were the Luan hollow door style. While the inlet water view off South Beach was nice, this unit is a second floor unit. My group were all in their 80s, but still in good health for climbing steps with luggage, but the listing should inform people that it is a second floor unit with no elevator service. The unit was within walking distance of an access to the beach, so we got the "beach gear" equipment as part of the rental credit. Only the chairs and umbrellas could be delivered to the unit (2nd floor) and the beach buggy was hard to find because there was no mention of it being delivered to the nearest bicycle rack. It took a day to correct that error, but the weather was not favorable for beach days the entire week, so we didn't use the "beach gear." Unless you plan to be at the beach multiple days and the weather is going to be favorable (late April to Sept), I would suggest putting the weather risk for beach gear on the folks at Sea Pines Beach Club who put up chairs and umbrellas for rent there rather than taking the weather risk yourself and arranging for "beach gear" in advance. South Beach was undergoing re-surfacing the leisure trails and roadway for significant stretches of South Sea Pines Drive, which meant one-way traffic during the day and rough roads awaiting re-surfacing. This work should be finished now. We won't rent this unit again.

Great Fall Break Vacay!

It was a perfect condo for 4 adults! Very clean. Comfy beds, stocked kitchen. Easy walk to Salty Dog and shops. The management company was very friendly. Only tip I have for management company is to mail the Sea Pines gate pass so we don’t have to stop to pick that up. We would stay here again definitely

End of Summer Vacation

We loved our stay in this villa. The location was great, you can see the boats coming in and out of the marina as well as some dolphin. A short walk away is a beach on the sound, great place for floating or young kids to play in the water, very quiet and beautiful sunsets! Tower beach is not too far away, getting there can be tricky, we opted for Coligny beach, a little bit of a drive but easier to get our stuff on the beach, also a beautiful place to watch sunrises! The customer service regarding this rental could not have been better, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

Great location, perfect beachy condo! Management company is a pleasure to work with. Clean and stocked with everything we expected. Nice to have the vacuum for sand clean up at the front door. Very comfortable stay. Beach is walkable and perfect. ( Get clarification on pool usage if that’s something you plan on using. ) Location was the best for walkability, you won’t be disappointed. Being next door to Salty Dog was a bonus. Maybe it was the week we stayed (end of Aug), but it was very quiet! We used the VayK credit, had an issue with our umbrella and they kindly replaced it. We would book this property again. Thank you to the owners and management company for helping us have wonderful family vacation memories!

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay. The water view was greater than we thought. Very clean and comfortable. Nice touches here and there. A great location for enjoying the beach and the Sea Pines area. My only "heads up" is The Salty Dog is right next door (like... right there). It is super nice to enjoy a meal or a drink. I would just suggest brining a noise machine if you are light or an early sleeper if that kind of thing keeps you up. It really was not an issue for us. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Would highly recommend.

Great location

Great location with a lovely view from the small balcony. Perfect size villa for family of four. Kitchen has all you would need and starter pack was great. Two king size beds…second bed was nice and firm, master was very soft. Blackout blinds would be a recommendation for the master bedroom as it’s very bright early morning. Very clean villa. We really enjoyed our 5 nt stay!

Great location to enjoy sea pines (but need blackout shades)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We (2 adults and 2 kids, 8 and 10 y/o) had a great stay. Location was QUICK walk to south beach (sound) and 3-5 minute bike ride to UNCROWDED ocean beach (tower beach -only residents can park cars there- but walkers/bikers can use beach). The rental was quiet- even though right near salty dog and other establishments, they all close early so no difficulty with trying to fall asleep. View of the marina was really pretty, too! Kitchen was adequate and reasonably stocked with cookware/dishes. We enjoyed vanishing island boat tour (through a group that's located at walking distance in south beach marina), lots of beach time, getting ice cream at salty dog. in terms of dinner, recommend trying Coast or some great restaurants outside of sea pines.we took advantage of rental credit from Island Time that helped cover cost of bikes/carts. that delivery process was smooth.The MAIN PROBLEM with the place was that the windows face east and the curtains do NOT keep out light, so it's really hard to sleep past 5:30 in the summer, even when exhausted. we started our days earlier than planned because it was just that hard to sleep in the mornings. blackout shades would make all the difference! this was otherwise a great trip, but honestly, this made it impossible to give 5 stars.One last pointer- the grocery stores are INSANE on saturday/sunday. we tried to do an instacart order that didn't get shopped and the store was pandemonium that night. so just be aware and plan accordingly.

HHI vacation

We absolutely loved everything about this villa. It was beautiful and comfortable. The proximity to South Beach Marina (next door!) was fantastic. We loved how easy it was to get to the beach and bike trails. Just a phenomenal vacation site!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice but the mark was missed.. The master bedroom mattress was not good, the master bed fell apart.. no screws in the frame. No mattress cover and only 2 standard pillows for a king size bed.. Also this condo sleeps 6, but you only get 4 wash clothes.. they did bring 2 more.. so we washed them every day (which is crazy).. the location was good and the condo was clean.

Excellent Location

This unit is a very nice place to visit. It was very quiet and right next door to Salty Dog and easy beach access. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet and restful place.
