This charming and recently updated 3BR bungalow in a friendly neighborhood is perfect for families, business travelers, and couples. A 4 min walk takes you to CTA Green Line with a 20 min ride to downtown Chicago. A 10 min walk and you are in downtown Oak Park with charming shops and restaurants. Fully furnished and appointed, it feels like home with a 55-inch TV, cable, wifi, and a fully fenced backyard. You will have the entire home to yourself, including an off-street parking space. All bedrooms sleep 2 people and the kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your own meals.

Good location for us. A lot of extras provided.. laundry products, & kitchen & bathroom items were appreciated, as was use of garage. LR area rug needs to be replaced, it only looks clean underneath the coffee table. The rest of the house was clean & tidy.

Great Chicago property

Property was in a fabulous location - near to the airport and easy access to freeways as well as restaurants and stores. Off street parking was great and house was neat & clean - older but nicely remodeled. Owners were easy to reach.

Awesome place

Great house and great neighborhood. It was also nice to have our own parking and not having to pay extra. Everything was very straightforward and l was initially worried because one of my kids is highly sensitive to scents and gets sick easily when exposed to that but I was happy to realize that the house was cleaned with non toxic products and was not scented but still smelled fresh and awesome .l will be booking with you again. Thank you

Absolutely immaculately maintained property on quiet and peaceful residential street and perfect location for shopping and dining in downtown Oak Park! This was my second time I stayed at this home and I look forward to returning!

Family Friendly With Everything You Need

This was my first experience booking anything on VRBO and it was such a positive experience. The property was exactly as pictured and described. I was pleasantly surprised to see that even cooking spices and oil were provided, as well as tea and coffee. The location was convenient for my family to visit Chicago and some of the other suburbs. I will definitely book again next time I am in Chicago.

Comfortable and had everything we needed. 7 stairs to get into bungalow were a challenge -- thank goodness for the handrails. Husband uses walker and cane and without handrails we would have had to go elsewhere. Thanks for a lovely home.

Perfectly wonderful

Me and my two adult daughters picked this place to stay while we were in town to see Taylor Swift at Solider Field. Everything worked out well. We weren't too far from the venue but out of the city enough and where it felt safe. The house was great. Easy instructions to get in. Place was very spacious and clean. We didn't need to get too comfortable, but we could if we wanted. Great cozy house. Each one of us had our own bed, they were comfortable. Very happy with our stay. My daughter said "if we come back to Chicago, can we just stay here again?" And we will if it's available. Thank you!

Best Options 4 Family w/ Dogs

If you are vacationing with a family with dogs, this is probably one of the best options you could find for your Chicago vacation. This beautiful home is located in a very convenient and safe neighborhood just outside of Chicago. The house has a sizable backyard for the children and doggos to play. The train station is a 5 minute walk from the house, and the rail ride into downtown Chicago was around 20 minutes. We got a train/bus day pass for about $3 each. The Chicago transit system is very easy to navigate. The local downtown, which is where the train station is located, has some good restaurants and shops. Overall, great experience, and we’ll be booking again for our next Chicago trip!

Perfect Little Bungalow!

My husband and I took our three children (12, 7, 6) on their first trip to Chicago. We wanted a house big enough that the kids had bedroom space and that was close to the L to avoid driving into the city. This house was perfect. The bedrooms are just the right size - luggage fit, but things didn’t get lost, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook tacos and spaghetti, the bathroom had more hot water than our own home, and you couldn’t beat the three minute walk to the L. The neighborhood is quiet, but still active enough that it feels safe and lived in. Getting to the house from the interstate was a snap and having off street parking was great. The house is cozy and feels like a home, but at the same time doesn’t feel like you’re invading someone else’s space. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The Best!

I would give this property 10 stars if I could. Check-in was flawless. We arrived on a hot day in July and the house was blissfully cool and remained so during our entire stay. The home was spotless and had every amenity you could possibly need, including a washer and dryer in the basement. We brought our dog, so the fenced yard was great for us. I also walked him daily and the neighborhood is beautiful and very safe and friendly. The El train is just three blocks away and takes you to the heart of the Loop, where you can make connections to anywhere in the city. There are three grocery stores very nearby, two within easy walking distance. There's a cute little pub a half block away with great burgers and cold beer and an outdoor patio. There are many, many restaurants within a short walk also. We had no need to contact the owners but their contact info was made available to us. Overall we highly recommend this cozy little home and plan on returning next summer!

Highest recommendation! The home is great. It's well equipped and clean. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of space. The parking place is very covenient. We could easily cook in the nice kitchen. The grill was an added bonus. The location is great. The neighborhood is safe. Public transportation is close for an easy trip into downtown. Many stores and restaurants are within walking distance. We enjoyed the birds, trees and squirrels. It felt like an oasis from the bustling city. Check in and communication were perfect. We had a wonderful stay!

Cute House Great Neighborhood

This house is in great condition and super close to mass transit. Walkable to the CTA station, several restaurants and grocery store. House was very clean and contained everything we needed. Would stay again.
