The Quiet Getaway

Our home is very light and done in shades of gray, white and a splash of color here and there! We refinish and paint furniture so I like a little distressed pieces through out the house with the furnishings and decor!

Our home has 2 queen beds and will only sleep 4 (2 people in each bedroom)

Please No parties, gatherings, no smoking of any kind or pets

There is a free standing large wooden garage behind our home with a finished apartment. When our home is being rented out, my husband Dave and I stay in the apartment. We are away often, so we may not be in the apartment during your stay.

We are right outside the city limits of High Point. Our home sits on 2 acres on a private drive. The patio and front porch make it very nice to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun comes up and a glass of wine while the sun goes down! You will find that most areas of shopping and restaurants are with 4-5 miles! High Point University is exactly 4 miles..Downtown High Point is 3 miles from our Home.

I have to say the overall reason we love our home is of the quietness and peacefulness it provides

Hidden gem.

This was our favorite property! In a quiet setting, this property had it all: porches where we enjoyed morning coffee; beautiful, clean and comfortable accomodations, and access to the owners. :)

Cozy stay

We enjoyed our stay! Hosts were great, and communicated very well. While pets are not allowed, the host has a pet, so the home was not as clean as we hoped for. Also not quite as private with an apartment on the same property where the host and others were staying during our stay.

Charming home with lovely touches throughout

We found this home a comfortable, very clean place to stay while we visited our son at High Point University, which was just a few minutes away. There were lovely homey touches throughout, a nice sunroom to enjoy our morning coffee, and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay for HPU Family weekend - easy and quick drive to campus. Beautiful weather to enjoy the outdoor space. The home was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Owner was helpful. Bonus - met another HPU family renting adjacent property. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home

Clean, Comfortable, Pretty, Quiet

This property was everything we needed for our overnight stay in High Point. The property and house are roomy, well-decorated and clean. We each took a bedroom and a bathroom, so there was plenty of privacy. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, but of course we brought in our own food. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the morning having our coffee. There is a Keurig coffee maker.

A very nice home

The home is very clean and very nicely decorated. It has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each and sleeps 4. The owner is very pleasant.
