This is a perfect location for a family to enjoy all the the mid coast has to offer, with close proximity to Rockland, Rockport, Camden.

Amazing costal cottage

The property was just as described. Plenty of room for my family of 5 including our dog. I was a little worried when we arrived and there was no air conditioning but the weather in Maine in August is still not warm enough to warrant central AC. The fans in the house and in the windows cooled the cottage off with zero issues. Location was close enough to Rockland/Camden area to drive easily. The lighthouse was a mile out and back which made for a great daily walk. We would book again.

Great location, spacious and relaxing!

Great deal, house and location for a reasonable price! Let me start with the location: it's in a very peaceful part of Owl's Head yet steps away from the great General Store and a small pond with muskrats, a beaver and great blue herons. A short stroll to the water where we watched beautiful sunsets. A bit of a longer walk, or a very easy drive to Owl's Head State Park with its sweeping views from the lighthouse and two beaches. And a little over 10 minutes away from downtown Rockland and beautiful Birch Point Beach State Park. While the location is convenient, it's very quiet and peaceful without being deserted. The house had tons of room for our family of 4 with 2 adult kids, especially since we came from our prior hotel with one tenth the room for $200/night more. The unique setup with the upstairs sleeping areas being separated (you have to come downstairs to move between them) gave us some nice separation from our adult kids (who each had their own bedroom). It would probably work well also for 2 couples. . I would note, however, that the upper stairs to the largest bedroom with the king bed are quite steep so not suited for those with bad knees or other mobility issues. In addition to the nice garden in front, there's a small covered porch with a swing. All around it was the spacious, pleasant place to stay that I needed after my work stress. Finally, the property manager was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful home and location

The house was cozy and clean with every kitchen item we could have needed. We loved the location, right next to the general store and a beautiful walk to the lighthouse and beaches. All the beds were very comfortable.

Wonderful Home

This was the second time staying in Owls Head at Jennifer’s lovely home. Everything was perfect. We look forward to coming back.

Owls Head home

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was so spacious and clean. Right next door to the store made it convenient for last minute provisions or something to eat with yummy pizza and sandwiches. We brought our dog and the back yard was perfect for her. Close to beaches and the lighthouse park to ride your bike to. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Perfect coastal location

This house was a perfect spot for our family to explore the many coastal communities north the and south of here. There is a general store right next door to the house for good food and a decent selection of essentials. It was fun to explore Owls Head and tromp through the nearby state parks and reserves too. The kitchen is very well equipped too, so it was nice for drive-free days when you just want to stay put and enjoy Owls Head. The wifi works great too and there’s plenty of space for multiple people to work remotely if needed.
