A beautiful area and a lovely house

Loved up to expectations. Close to town for an adventure. We went over to the islands one day. Just bring extra layers the wind off the water can be chilly. Owners are responsive and very helpful.

Home away from home

Anna and rodneys place was wonderfully cozy yet spacious for our family with 4 adults and a dog. It had everything we needed for eating in and relaxing, and was conviently located to Owls Head and other parks and public areas, as well as downtown Rockland.

House and hosts are amazing. Far enough out from the busy mid coast but close enough to drive to enjoy the downtowns.

Wonderful

Loved our stay at owls head! Great house great location , loved all the new beaches and restaurants and cute shops . Dog friendly and hoping to return next year for two weeks!

Restful Getaway

A charming home near a beautiful lighthouse. We enjoyed the quiet town of Owls Head and still being so close to Rockland and Camden. Crescent Beach was great for swimming and Mcloons per Anna’s recommendation was phenomenal (highly recommend their whoopie pies!)

Wonderful time - lovely place

My family of 5 had a great time here. It’s adorable and we enjoyed playing games and the fire pit at night. Our host recommended a day trip to Monhegan Island - it was simply awesome. Also, hiked in Camden Hill State Park and enjoyed downtown Rockland and Camden. A wonderful place to spend a few days.

Great place for a family

We had a wonderful visit during our stay in Owls Head! The house had the charming feel of just being in Maine. It was clean and had everything we needed! Also, we were not far from many of the sites in the area. Thank you Rodney and Anna for such a great place!

Family House

We loved our stay here. There were lots of rooms with two bathrooms and stairways. Cleaning products were on hand. The decor and furniture made things cozy. I have no complaints here! I'm planning on returning!

Beautiful house that was right near all we wanted to do. Anna was great with communication and gave several ideas of things to do. Would recommend a stay and visit to the area. It was all we expected Maine to be.

Wonderful Time in Owls Head Maine

We truly enjoyed our two week September stay. Our host and accommodations were excellent. If you enjoy the serenity and hospitality of the local people, then this location is for you. Quaint, nautical, and spacious. We will be returning to this world soon. Thanks to Anna and Ryan!

Charming home in a great location

We truly enjoyed our short stay in Owls Head. The home was charming, comfortable and had everything that we needed for our family. It was a short walk to the lighthouse and convenient location to visit Rockland. The kids enjoyed exploring the wharf looking for shells. Nice outdoor space with a new deck and fire pit. Would definitely visit again!

Wonderful time! Piano was a pleasant surprise. Lighthouse proximity amazing! Lobster rolls at McCloon’s were delicious.🦞 Stay here if you want a wonderful convenient place to stay!

Nice getaway

The property is charming…it reminds me of family vacations from my childhood. The house is very comfortable, but it is an old house in the country, so if you are looking for that vibe, it is perfect. It is in a place near where boats launch and dock. This is a nice location if you have pets and kids.

Perfect for our family

There was space for everyone. We walked to the lighthouse three times, to the wharf and got lobsters from the wharf. General store was a short walk and we walked there most days. Short drive to most places we wanted to go

Blues Festival weekend

This was our 2nd year of staying at the property with friends for the Blues Festival in Rockland. Close to town but far enough away to have our own space. The space is great for outside or inside meals and an evening by a fire pit. We were definitely comfortable

Short but sweet

We really enjoyed our stay in Owls Head, a beautiful house right on the ocean. We had the house for Memorial Day weekend and even though it was a short visit, we made the most out of our stay. We fit in a beach visit, hiking, shopping, and exploring. There is a lot to do in the area! Thank you Anna for letting us stay in this awesome house!

Wonderful trip!!!

We had such a great family vacation! The house was so charming and comfortable, spacious and cozy. We would recommend this to anyone! Morning runs to the lighthouse were perfect! The back yard was perfect for the kids, we enjoyed the fire pit every evening. In the summer months, don't forget your bug spray.

Home away from home

The house was perfect in every way! Location was wonderful for ocean front exploring. private family bbq's and central to several awesome day trips. The house is cozy, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped to handle the whole family. The Mason's were very helpful and kind. They had many great suggestions of things to do and places to go. We wish we had the time to enjoy all of them! Wonderful time at the Captain's Quarters!! The Finnegan Family

Exactly What We Needed!

Thank you Anna for sharing this home with us, it was exactly what we needed! The house has plenty of space for our little one to cruise around and explore, and he LOVED the boats. The proximity to the light house, perfect sized yard for playing, fire pit, and deck gave us plenty to do when we didn't feel like venturing far from the house. With Rockland <10 min away, Rockport 20, and Camden 30 minutes- we got a little bit of everything that we were looking for.

Inviting waterfront home in Owls Head

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this amazing coastal home for a family get together. Truly a memorable vacation for all us (Thank you, Anna!) Everyone was impressed not only with the location and layout but also how clean it was. I think it was built in the 1800's ... loved the wide planked floors, shiplapped walls and beamed ceiling. Anna is very responsive and super easy to work with. We will be back again... I can't wait!

Fantastic Maine Stay

This was a fantastic place to experience life on the Maine coast. Exactly what you would expect. The house was very comfortable and clean, had all the amenities you need. We had 5 adults and a toddler, the spaciousness of the house was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more charm in this type of stay. Easy walk to the beach/pier, as well as the General Store (great by the way). We enjoyed the backyard fire pit just about every night. Rockland is not far away for all of your needs. The guides/rules the hosts set up were understandable and helpful.
