Beautiful house in the heart of the town. Newly remodeled, 2 blocks from the Mississippi river , camp fire site, spacious yard, charcoal grill or gas grill, large gatherings are welcomed. awesome for fishing trip. perfect get away for the adventerous // lovely fishing areas

We had a great time. The house was a great spot from which to explore the area. We enjoyed time around the fire pit in the back yard in the evenings.

Everything was absolutely amazing! Jeff and Julie were great hosts even messaged that if we needed to we could check in early if needed! Had an amazing week at their home. Had 5 people including a 4 adults a toddler and a dog it had all the perfect amenities for us for the whole week! Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful family getaway

We had a great family stay. The house is perfect for our family gathering you can cook indoors or out and I love the deck for sitting and visiting. My grandkids enjoyed playing yard games that were supplied to us. We will definitely be coming back again. It’s one of our favorite places to stay.

Great house & atmosphere with plenty of room for my family

Great house!

The house gives a cabin feeling inside with the great woodwork. We enjoyed our stay and would be interested in renting it again next year when we visit Guttenberg.

Lovely large house

We had everything we needed during our 1 night stay. Lots of space with two full bathrooms. The outdoor space is great including a hot tub, where our group spent a lot of time. Will be back again.

Beautiful location! Couldn't make full use of amenities, due to been van, but that wasn't the owner's fault. It was cozy and comfortable and we loved it!

The stay was great; we decided to go up a day earlier and they were very accommodating. The train in the back yard was alarming the first night. Very good restaurants around the house.

Cozy Escape with the Bells and Whistles

I had a wonderful time at the R-Lodge. It's a cozy base camp for touring the area, with room for larger groups. The house is well soundproofed against the trains that pass daily. The hot tub in the back is excellent.

Iowa river town spot

For our short stay, this property suited as a base camp for exploring the area. The owners were respectful and thoughtful. The hottub was just what we needed after hours of hiking. I think this place would be ideal for a larger group, but it was fine for us as well.

Quick getaway

First guests at a new listing. Great river town in NE Iowa, home is close to amenities and riverfront. Hot tub off the back deck was ideal, great space to spread out, hosts are very welcoming and quick to respond to questions and needs. We enjoyed our stay and a much needed few days away!
