Pine Grove Hideaway is a hidden gem at over 1900sf located on a cul de sac in the Ockenden Ranch community. It's a SUPER CLOSE drive to town, the lake and China Peak. As new owners we have updated the cabin with fresh linens, comfortable beds, new kitchen essentials and more. Enjoy a cozy movie night in our main living room, sip your coffee on the front or back deck surrounded by pine trees. The perfect family friendly cabin for all seasons. Amazing location just over a mile from downtown and 1.5 miles from the lake - our cabin is the perfect mix of convenient with the feeling of being remote. We have a great kitchen fully stocked with everything you will need including both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, new pots & pans, crock pot and many other kitchen essentials. Wifi and DISH Network TV throughout the home! We also have a large bonus room perfect for kids of all ages featuring toys, games, TV with Cable or DVDs and a foosball table. If you have little ones we do have a pack n play, crib sheets and a high chair. The back deck is perfect for a Spring/Summer BBQ or a relaxing evening under the stars. The front deck is gated off which is great for younger little ones. We are extremely lucky that our neighborhood was saved from the fires so we are surrounded by beautiful lush trees. Bring your bikes and scooters to enjoy the neighborhood or your hiking boots to take a stroll on the nature trail at the end of the street steps from the house.

Room 1:
MASTER bedroom featuring a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with shower.

**Note that the Master bedroom connects to the Game/Bonus room with sliding glass doors. These can be shut and locked for privacy or kept open if you have little ones sleeping in the game room and would rather keep the doorway open. Great for families!

Room 2:
Queen size bed and large walk in closet.

Room 3:
Bunk Beds (1 twin over 1 Full) and a separate Twin with walk in closet.

Bonus Room:
Opens with french doors to the Living room and Sliding Glass doors to the outside deck as well as sliding glass doors to the Master Bedroom. All can be shut and locked with curtains for privacy and sleeping. Bonus room features two couches that pull out to comfortable queen size beds. It also had it's own TV and DVD player and is connected to Dish cable as well. It is the perfect kids hang out!

This house was perfect for our two families! There was plenty of space, it was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, the location was excellent, and the host was wonderful. I highly recommend this property for your next trip to Shaver!

Beautiful home, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable for a large family. We loved sitting by the fire, playing board games, quality family time Would definitely stay again!!!

This house was perfect for our family!! It was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and in working condition. The host is very responsive and quick to answer. We also liked the location. The neighborhood is beautiful.

We had a great time!

The home was cozy and clean. We loved that our kids could enjoy all the snow in the backyard and we didn't have to look for a spot to go to. We had everything we needed just steps away.

The location was great and had many thoughtful touches, like a well stocked kitchen and game room with plenty of options. Having access to the garage was also very nice, and uncommon for many rentals in the area. There was no issue with heating or hot water either during the winter, which was good. Only comment would be that the cleanliness could be better in some areas, things like the beds or behind some furniture.

Great place for our three families with 3 boys, ages 6-8. I was especially delighted with the fun game room with Foosball, an arcade game and LOTS of DVDs ad books, and the kitchen had nearly everything we needed and more (pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutting boards, knives, Keurig pot and pods, regular coffee pot, crockpot, etc.)!One thing I would’ve liked is to have the sliding back door open and close easily and have a screen door in it. We could not get to the back deck easily at all. I hope that gets fixed.And, for future renters, note that there are stairs up, each with only one railing; this 71-year-old grandma was happy to have helpful adult “kids” carry ice chests and luggage up!The host was the BEST at communicating! We felt incredibly welcomed.
