Lake Hartwell cottage, 90 min away from Atlanta. Three bedrooms. A perfect place to enjoy a sunset, golfing, fishing, hiking, swimming & boating or work remotely with highspeed internet and office setup. Bring your boat or rent from Harbor Light Marina 15 min away. Public boat ramp (1 mile away). Open living area is a great place to watch the game.

The kitchen is well appointed with lots of cookware, cook's tools and serving ware. The bathrooms both have complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Towels, hand towels and wash cloths are also included. Beds are appointed with fresh, comfortable mattresses and cozy linens.

On Lake Hartwell with seasonal view of the water through the woods of the Army Corps land. Closest water access is Poplar Springs Recreation area. They have picnic, boat ramp & dock access. Driving distance on paved roads (via Hillshore Rd) is 1.8 miles. Tugaloo State Park is about 5 miles away also.

We wanted a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a few days. It was quiet and restful We weren’t sure that would be the case as our first look at the property was disappointing. It looked like the yard hadn’t been mowed in over a month! We thought maybe the rain had been the reason but we noticed all the other neighbors were nicely cut. The house seemed clean throughout. We did notice a few roaches though. The kitchen was well stocked with our needsWe did appreciate the many upgrades in the home. The master bedroom was tastefully decorated we could see it was well done. The mattress was very comfortable! The second bathroom though not remodeled was clean. It is good there was a bathtub and a walk in shower.Thank you for the stayAndrea!

Great spot

We loved how clean the house was. Close to the lake and Tugaloo Park. Property owner was great to deal with. Close to Anderson and Commerce for food options.

Perfect location

My husband and I needed a place close to a wedding reception. This was perfect as it was just less than 10 minutes away. We brought our pups with us and the yard was perfect for them to be able to play in. House was more than we needed but we would for sure stay again if we ever came back to the area. The host is also so nice and helped with all my questions!

Cozy home

This was a nice cozy home. It was clean and well organized. The only detail was that it does not have access to the lake but it’s a 10 minute drive to the park that has a nice beach. 🏖️ in the listing it says that the beach is part of the property but it is not.

Lake Hartwell Cabin

The host had excellent communication. We had to reschedule due to an unforeseen issue with the tournament and the host was able to accommodate. This was a nice property on Lake Hartwell and I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. This house is in a quiet neighborhood and has a nice back yard. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils needed for cooking. The master bedroom is roomy and the bed (mattress) provided a good night sleep. The two bathrooms are definately a plus We will definitely request to book again.

Nice location, private.

Lots of room inside and outside. One of the beds was very low to the floor. Detail instructions for checking out. Not too far from the restaurants.

Relaxing weekend

We were in town for the weekend to visit with friends and decided to stay here instead of a hotel. It was a great decision! The property was clean and well maintained, and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had.

Lake Hartwelll cottage stay

My friends and I just needed a getaway and some relaxation. We got the reservation and hoped it would be quiet and close to the water. It was close enough to the water but it was super quiet and relaxing. We cooked out and jumped in the lake . We got exactly what we were looking for. Thank you!

Great getaway

Had a great experience. Home was clean and description of property was accurate. Easy to book. Only complaint would be difficult to reach property management with questions to extend stay. Don’t know if VRBO issue and messages weren’t timely transmit? Took longer than expected to get response. Would definitely book again though!

Great cottage, close to the lake!

This cute cottage was the perfect spot for my family! We all enjoyed this lovely home with an awesome back porch and big backyard! Super close to the lake, and the boat ramp was not busy at all! Only small issue is that some blackout curtains would be nice in the bedrooms and one of the bedrooms blinds were completely torn off.....but that did not dampen our stay - our kids were so worn out from playing at the lake all day, they fell asleep even in the bright rooms! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Great family get-away

The property itself was great. Very roomy, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of seating and very nice TV. Our only concern happened when dogs from the neighborhood were roaming off leash. This made it hard to walk or run on the road. But in the cabin and the yard, we were very comfortable.

Thanksgiving Get Away

We had a great time in this cozy “cabin” feel of a home! Beautiful trees around with lake across the road. Traveled to Tallulah Falls for a day trip & to Helen another day trip. Made a great Thanksgiving meal in the well stocked kitchen. Watched Christmas movies on the big screen TV & football, plus played board games ! Sat out on the deck & enjoyed the cool weather! A great time! Recommended to all for a relaxing time.
