Byggdes 1963 av en professor i arkitektur, har en fantastisk utsikt över havet och Mendocino visa varje rum. Huset är inramad med respektingivande inspirerande 150 år gamla hand skära jätte redwood balkar (återvunnen bock) och golv är 3 "tjock lönn från en San Francisco bowlinghall. Modern inredning i kombination med en vacker Redwood platta matbord och bar bidrar till att göra huset varmt och inbjudande. Kombinationen av rustika och moderna inslag gör detta till en verkligt unik och speciell plats.

Location and view were amazing. Linens need upgrade.

The property is absolutely magical. The architecture of the building and how it is positioned on the land with the flora, fauna and the views of Mendocino and the Ocean is second to none. For the price of the rental the linens were old, severely pilly and scratchy to sleep on. In the 2nd bedroom the pillows were rock hard and we were unable to sleep on them (they are decorator pillows not sleeping pillows). It would be convenient to be able to pick up the keys at the property instead of having to drive into town to find them and then having to drop them off again. Modern technology easily affords check in at the property.

The house was breathtaking, and so were the views. Being next to the trailhead to Spring Ranch Nature Preserve was an added surprise! Was a treat to be close to town, yet the property provided the privacy we were hoping for. The house was stocked with all you can need. Morning coffee on the deck and evenings by the fire will be hard to beat anywhere with that view. Thank you for having us!

A Beautiful Restful Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was wonderful. It had great privacy. Enjoyed the hot tub. I left a long list of maintenance that needs to be done to the house. The hot tub lid was waterlogged and impossible for old women to get on and off!! Needs a bar for easy lifting. The inside ficus tree is toxic to dogs and leaves were falling constantly. Should not be in house that is dog friendly. The house was clean (except for under one bed) and plenty of cookware. Wonderful stay.

Your pictures do not do justice to the wonderful view of the Pacific not only from the deck but also from the large windows in the house. It was a wonderful introduction to the coast. The village and restaurants were lovely.

Amazing in every way

This house is truly amazing! Words or photos cannot accurately describe. Unfortunately l, Mother Nature had some big fun just prior to our arrival. Cindy, The property manager, went above and beyond to communicate with us about power outage and road conditions before we arrived. Due to the storm we almost didn’t make it- but I’m so glad we did. Staying at this property was really a once in a lifetime adventure!

Loved it so much i am not even home and rebooked

Absolutely stunning and amazing views from every angle. Located at the end of a peaceful road good for walking youre just a couple minutes from big river beach and mendocino. This property ia conveniently located and has a wonderful story We enjoyed cooking from the house and relaxing after a morning of hiking. The home was immaculate It does have a charcoal bbq to cook on as well. I think my only suggestion would be a bit more light on the grass area to potty dogs after dark...there very well could be a light and i couldn't find it lol 😆 We found a new home away from home

The architecture and the views are stunning. Our long weekend was a celebration of birthdays for two best friends and we could not have had a better time shopping, exploring, relaxing, and just staring out the giant windows, mesmerized by the gorgeous ocean views. We could not figure out how to close the flue in the primary bedroom, so without a fire in the fireplace, it was a bit drafty. Everything else is well-appointed, although we would have loved to take advantage of the great stereo system; just couldn't figure it out. Bring your own cards, dice, or games. I will definitely be coming back!

So conveniently close to downtown.
