Spacious, well appointed. (1100 sq. ft) Quick access to mountain trails (1/2 mile away), Mt. Ben Lomond, Mt. Lewis, Canal road (Ogden to Brigham City easy grade)plethora of biking trails, convenient retail shopping, 10 minutes to downtown Ogden nightlife. 20 minutes from Pine View Reservoir. 30 minutes from Willard Bay. 35 minutes to Great Salt Lake. Safe area for family. Public park with play area close by. Fenced yard with children's outdoor toys. North Ogden Arena 1/2 mile away.
Large Covered Bar B Cue area, fire pit, East Side of property out of the sun for comfort and enjoyment. Large bathroom with large walk in shower / separated toilet. Kitchen is well stocked. Mountain Spring water available https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/stump-spring . Our guests have really enjoyed this with a dispenser cold for after a ride, or hot for a beverage you like. Guest Suite has private, well lit entrance just a few steps away from off street driveway parking. Trailer parking available with electric service 115 with prior arrangement and additional fee. Small Peach orchard adjacent to property with seasonal product for sale. Nothing as good as an off the tree peach in season. Outdoor yard toys available for use Croquet, Bocchi ball etc .. 2 kayaks, one pictured and available to rent on property daily, range of life vests as well. Great venue for a wedding reception (50 people outdoors), family gathering, birthday. Laundry available onsite by arrangement. Quiet. Owner has 2 well behaved dogs on property that are strictly separated from guests and children at all times, unless of course you are in need of some comfort therapy by your choice - and can use some doggie love and affection ( no charge for the loves) just want to let people know who may have allergies - they happen! just want you to know in advance. Relative to animals... Your pet 900 lb gorilla won't work out but ask us first about your pets we want your stay to be peaceful, good resting and comfortable our pets are part of us and added fees will apply Television has free basic Amazon Prime and Peacock services and too many free channels to describe. You can screen cast from your phone or tablet as well.

Fishing Trip

The owner made sure we had a secure place to park our boat. Secure neighborhood. Minutes from Willard Bay. Good clean comfortable bed and bath. The yard is secure for our dog to run and stretch out.

Great basement suite

Good communication from host. Spacious and updated basement suite. Everything you could want and need for a pleasant stay. Reasonable drive thru the canyon to Ogden Nordic. Only stayed for one night with my partner but this would be great place for a small family or for an extended stay.

Perfect stay

The space was large and very well appointed. Everything you may need is in the kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is lovely! I need a shower like that at home. Our pup LOVED the backyard area and enjoyed some buddy time with the owners dogs. And the owner was incredible. Super kind and accommodating. Helpful and always available. We are so grateful we could stay in such a wonderful place that was affordable. Thank you!

This place was fantastic! Clean, comfortable and very well stocked with whatever you could possibly need. Jackie was available and helpful and even had warm chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we got home from skiing all day. And her dogs were amazing!!

So cute and comfy!!!

This place is decorated so cute and the king bed was so comfortable!! Lots of extra touches and everything you could need. We were just there for a quick overnight on a road trip but it would be a great place to stay for a full vacation. One thing to note is that it is in the basement under the owners’ home. Separate entrance and completely private but it was unclear to us in the original listing that it was a part of the owner’s actual home where they reside. We would absolutely stay there again!! Just thought people might like to know that detail before booking.

Very nice place to stay

The rwo things i did not like was that the website never showed pictures of the property, not sure why? And it got pretty loud upstairs at times. Other than that the property was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Perfect Place near Ogden

Our stay was wonderful. The house is clean, warm and inviting. We were greeted with cookies and the host always checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Even scraped off the windows of my car the morning of my departure. I highly recommend staying here. It was lovely and I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyable Stay

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. We really enjoyed the area, the property and the host. Jackie was very responsive and accommodating. The unit is in the basement of a house so there is a bit of noise from the dogs upstairs but it didn't bother us. The bed is nice and big, but a bit too soft for our liking (just a personal preference thing). Overall we would probably come again.

A Gem in Ogden

Our stay exceeded our expectations for our "race-cation" for the Spartan Utah Trifecta weekend! Jackie's responsiveness and immaculate care for her guest area makes her a fantastic host. Her guest area was spacious, clean, comfortable, and included all of the kitchen and toiletry amenities needed for our short stay. Jackie extended her welcome and hospitality by letting us know the events, favorite restaurants, and popular spots nearby. Added bonus that our stay was in a safe area not far from stores, gas stations, and downtown Ogden. Thank you for hosting a wonderful trip for us, Jackie!

One night in Ogden

The fenced backyard was great for my two dogs. The house was very clean and fully equipped. I did not use the kitchen because I was there for just one night but it seemed nice. The bathroom and shower had plenty of space. It was a great bed. There was plenty of space for a couple and two kids. Jackie, the owner, was very helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed my brief stay there.

Location Location Location!

OMGosh! Having never been to Ogden, imagine my surprise to find this lovely home nestled up against the front range with quick access to the North Canyon Road into Eden Valley. There were trailheads for hiking and biking within a few blocks. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet. Jackie was a wonderful host...checking in often to see if we needed anything. Although this is a basement apartment, it was incredibly quiet, well insulated, and well lit. The bed was super comfortable, kitchen well appointed with everything we needed to prepare and cook meals, and having access to the shop to safely store my bike and packing container was an unexpected bonus! Thank you Jackie! and Don, too...who gave us many great recommendations on places to visit and dine.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The check-in was seamless and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The property has a large, fully fenced backyard which was wonderful for my dogs to stretch their legs after a long roadtrip. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, flatware, coffee, tea, and ice. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and hope to stay here again on our next roadtrip.

Great for overnight stay

Just what we needed. Cool inside on a hot day, great back yard for pup to stretch his legs, comfortable bed and good shower. Stairs are steep so some people might have a problem.Thanks Jackie!

Clean and Comfy

Clean, comfortable, and in a very nice neighborhood. They even had a friendly goldendoodle for my dog to play with, after spending all day cooped up in a car.
