THE DOLPHIN HOUSE
49 Lands End is a spectacular beachfront villa located on the tip of the island with an outstanding ocean-front setting, and has one of the best views on Hilton Head Island. Spectacular views from all windows with panoramic views of the Calibogue Sound, Braddock Cove, Harbour Town Lighthouse, and Daufuskie Island. You can watch the dolphins play, see many different sea birds, ducks and pelicans coming and going, view the stunning sunsets, enjoy the sandy beach, fishing and crabbing at your doorstep and watch the air balloons, kayaks, paddle boards and boats go byâŠ..a magnificent view from The Dolphin House. It is truly a natureâs paradise for your entire family to enjoy or delightful for a coupleâs private getaway retreat in nature.
The kitchen has been newly renovated with gray painted cabinets, new stainless steel appliances and new white quartz countertops. The open living and dining area has a vaulted ceiling with beams, new furniture, 55â Smart TV, a table that seats eight, a dry bar and Southern antique pine floors and interesting artwork. The sunroom is a favorite, a fun room with a table of four chairs for games and fun, three additional chairs and loveseat and views of all the activities on the water. It is heated and AC and has full sliders to open to the outside. It has pocket doors to separate the sunroom from living area if so desired. The Dolphin House has direct access to the beach, and is a short walk or bike to the South Beach Marina, home of the Salty Dog with live music, food, fun and shops and they have ice cream cones, a favorite of our children. Also, available are tennis and pickleball courts, a four-minute bike ride. You also have direct access to 60 miles of bike trails or ride or walk on the large sandy beach.
Four bedrooms, with 2 kings and 4 twins, accommodations for 8 and two master bedrooms, one on each floor. The master on the first floor has a king, desk, small stand, 26" TV, a wall of windows with a water view of the Sound and the bath has a soaking tub with shower and double quartz vanity. The twin room on the first floor has two twins, 26" TV, and a chair. The bath has a walk-in shower and granite sink. The second floor has the second master bedroom with a king, chair, and 32" TV and a wonderful view of the Calibogue Sound. The twin bedroom on the second floor has a 32" TV and shower/bathtub with granite sink. All bedrooms have Smart TVs.
Large deck with beautiful, comfortable deck furniture, benches and grill and a complete setting for nature lovers. Everyone loves to congregate here with drinks and conversation and to watch nature in action. The table with umbrella accommodates 6-8. In the morning, sit on the deck with your cup of coffee and enjoy the flower garden with hummingbirds and butterflies. The Dolphin House is done in a classic, timeless style with its tasteful details and beauty, yet remains unpretentious, warm, and welcoming.
