We really enjoyed staying in this property. It was very modern facilities a great cooking kitchen. The backyard was immaculate and had some children’s toys and games to play. It was very clean when we arrived and the host was incredibly helpful with any kinds of questions and requests for help during our stay. My family agreed we would absolutely come back again as we also enjoyed the location, especially being close to Garden Beach and Bearskin neck.

Our family of 8 adults and one child enjoyed this home very comfortably. We would stay here again. Proximity to the beach, waking distance to town and very spacious yard and patios were wonderful, and the host was very communicative and made extra efforts to help accommodate our scent sensitivities. We had some trouble with fresh air flow as most windows on the lower level and the doors were without screens at the time of our booking - we were told these are on order so may be temporary.

Very intergenerationally family friendly with beach and attractions walkable. Lovely out door sitting areas. Top notch kitchen for our family foodies. Spotless. HVAC superb and helped us stay comfortable during the recent heat wave over Cape Ann. Host Michael was very accommodating and kind. Overall exceeded our VRBO expectations, especially given we have had a few VRBO disappointments in past. Lovely stay thanks to our hosts.

Great place to stay.

The home was very comfortable for my family-3 couples and one toddler. Very clean; kitchen very well equipped; beds very comfortable. Michael, the manager, was very responsive if we had questions. It was a great place to stay.

We had an absolutely incredible stay. My sister threw a bridal shower in town, and this was such a comfortable and beautiful place to have our out-of-town friends and family stay. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. The kitchen was stocked to entertain, with some of the sharpest knives I have had at a rental. The house is located just a few minutes from the beach and the town's shopping area, with ample parking available at the house. Truly a magical trip. I can't wait to come back!

By far the most beautiful, comfortable, clean and well stocked house we’ve ever rented. It’s in a perfect location, has an amazing yard, beautiful porches and is a 2 minute walk from the beach. We stayed with 2 families of 4 as well as the grandmas and we were all very comfortable. Michael was a wonderful host and we will be back for sure!

Our group of 5 adults, a teenager, and a tween just completed a fabulous week long stay. We LOVED staying here! The house was immaculate, comfortable, spacious with spectacular recent renovation. Top of the line HVAC (each room has its own thermostat and unit), Kitchen completely stocked with cookware, tableware, bakeware, silverware, utensils, food storage containers and top of the line major appliances and countertop. We had every kitchen tool we needed to prepare and serve home cooked meals. Extremely comfortable beds including premium linens, blankets and pillows. All new, well-appointed bathrooms and premium towels. THIS HOME HAS IT ALL!! The property has a huge backyard with gorgeous gardens, a firepit including firewood, and a garden table placed perfectly in the shade of mature trees. The back deck is perfect for the whole family to enjoy any meal. We used the BBQ grill, again fully equipped with BBQ tools and accessories. The expansive front porch with a peek of a view of the ocean was a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood. Plus, it is entirely covered allowing us to not be bothered by some passing rain showers. The home is walking distance to Old Garden Beach, which is smaller than the other two beaches in town but secluded from the hustle and bustle of downtown Rockport. We were also walking distance to shops, restaurants, art galleries, and the charming waterfront of Bearskin Neck. Host was very attentive with great communication.

Perfect spot for fam reunion!

We loved everything about this newly renovated gem in Rockport! Michael is a great host and super quick to respond to our questions. Location could not have been better. 5 min walk to garden beach, 10min to downtown Rockport. Highly recommend staying here - checked all the boxes!!!

We had a family reunion in this beautiful, spacious home. Great location within walking distance of beach and town. Parking for at least 3 cars. Big back yard with fire pit and games. We would love to stay here again. Great host.

Lovely house with a perfect location!

This property was just incredible. I loved how quick the walk was to the beach. We also could easily walk to Bear Skin for restaurants, shopping, and beautiful views. Every amenity you could think of was in the house, with excess of fresh towels and linens. Plenty of good books and games for entertainment, and the kitchen was very well stocked. I would absolutely stay here again!

Family Vacation

Absolutely awesome! Michael was a great host, answering our questions promptly. The house is beautiful, with great entertainment areas both inside and outside. The location cannot be beat, within walking distance to both beach and shops. Michael has provided everything needed for a day at the beach, or an evening of games.

Michael’s home is an absolute gem and ideal for our growing family reunion. This is our second year in a row we’ve rented and the house continues to get better with beautiful improvements. We will be back!

Murphy’s Generation Vacation

This was our first VRBO Family vacation and won’t be our last! From beginning to end the host surpassed our expectations! The home was perfect in every way; clean, roomy, well equipped, The yard was amazing with everything you could imagine for young & old! The location is ideal for beaches, restaurants and downtown shops. The communication with owner was quick and easy. This property is beyond a 10 and one we highly recommend and hope to visit again.

Oh my! If I could give 100 stars, it wouldn’t be enough! House was incredible. Location perfect. We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion at Thanksgiving. Plenty of room to play inside, everyone had space and privacy. Backyard was fabulous…a giant play yard! football and the fire pit! Kitchen was just what was needed for Thanksgiving dinner. The amenities, supplies and attention to detail was beyond belief. Can’t say enough! Best of all… hosts were so attentive and responsive. Would love to come back! Just so grateful to have had that week. As my sister said, a Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving!

Wonderful experience!

My family and I LOVED staying here. We’ve been vacationing in Rockport for over 15 years and it was one of our favorite places we’ve stayed at. We’re 7 adults and had plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and the location is walking distance from Bearskin Neck, the beach, and the headlands. Our host Michael was super communicative and went out of his way to accommodate us (set the place up ahead of time for early checkin, stopped by the house whenever we needed something, etc.). I highly recommend!!

The house was perfect for our family. Very well stocked with everything we needed for our time at the house. The house was very clean and it was really close to the shops and restaurants in town. We walked into town everyday even though we had a car. The fire pit was a great extension of the house, and Michael had it very well supplied, so it was easy to start the fire. Michael was very easy to get a hold of and responsive to any of our needs. I would highly recommend the house.

Family Vacation made easy!

We enjoyed our stay at this home. We were a group of three families planning to spend a week together in Rockport. The house accommodated our group nicely; each family had a space. The house was well equipped for a vacation. We especially enjoyed the quick 2 block walk to the beach and the easy walk to the town. The young people in our group enjoyed the firepit in the back yard. Every one enjoyed the outdoor shower and the front deck where groups gathered to chat. The house was well stocked with dishes, plates, glasses etc. for feeding a large group. We appreciated not having to shop for paper goods and cleaning supplies. If we plan to gather next summer we will definitely be back.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!!!

Great experience, Great location, Great communication Can't begin to describe how amazing this vacation was! From the moment the owner opened the front door, it was nothing but sheer enjoyment for our family. Steps to downtown, Bearskin Neck, great restaurants, and even less steps to a secluded (private) beach. In a very quiet and friendly neighborhood, you can't help but relax! The home has seasonal views of the ocean, is beautifully furnished and equipped with all the modern amenities along with some classic architecture...nicely updated. Owners were very responsive when we had any questions. We extended our stay an additional 10 days (total 21 days), and hope to return in the future...thanks so much for having us!!

Rockport’s Treasure

Best stay ever! Husband grew up in Gloucester with grandparents in Rockport. We have been returning yearly with (now grown) children to visit with family who are still in the area, and with other sibling who also return for a large family gathering. This year’s visit aligned with Gloucester’s St. Peter’s Fiests and Rockport’s July 4 festivities. Bonus! 40 Atlantic easily housed 6 adults (it will accommodate 8) and has plenary of gathering spaces with a large dining room to seat 10, an airy front porch, a spacious deck with a gas grill and a table for 8, and another large table in the shady area of the yard. The kitchen is huge and is well stocked with needed equipment -6 burner/ 2 oven Wolf stove, small appliances, cooking tools and dishes and flatware for at least 12. This kitchen has the sharpest knives I have ever used! We hosted the extended family several times and ended our evenings around the firepit. We played cornhole and tossed frisbees. Great memories were made! The large backyard is full of colorful flowers and shrubs and is very well kept. The living room is well stocked with games and puzzles for all ages. It is clear the house has been thoughtfully renovated - the bathrooms were spa-like, everyone slept well on the high quality mattresses and under upscale linens. This rental feels like cozy home! We enjoyed our walks to Brothers, Bearskin Neck, the Headlands and the beach. Michael was very responsive, communicative, and a pleasure to work with!

This home was absolutely immaculate and the best-appointed place we've Vrbo'd in Rockport over two decades of visits. Big bedrooms, fresh linens, stocked kitchen, high-end amenities and floorplan, incredible front and back decks, a gorgeous gardener's backyard, and a wonderfully responsive host make this place a real standout in an already beautiful town. Only two blocks to Garden Beach, or for the walkers in your group, just a half-mile into Bearskin for coffee, shopping or summer festivals. Bonus points to our host Michael, who responded in just minutes to my non-urgent text to let him know a few wasps were starting a tiny nest on his back deck. He coordinated for a time we were out of the hose and took care of it, no fuss or muss. Easy booking, check-in and uncomplicated check-out instructions made this a zero stress experience. Top marks for this incredible property and welcoming hosts.

Great Rockport location!

Great location and warm and friendly neighborhood. Easy access to all venues in downtown Rockport. Easily accommodated two adult couples with its two levels of living and sleeping quarters. Would recommend this property to friends interested in visiting Rockport.
