The cabin is super cute, new, and clean. It’s also private and the views of the lake are beautiful. Core childhood memories roasting hotdogs over the fire and making s’mores. We had a lot of fun.

We had a great stay. The cabin was perfect for our family. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. The boat is a must! I sat on the porch most of the days and just enjoyed the lake.

Bear Cub Cabin is everything we look for in a lake house! We especially enjoyed the hot tub, dock, view, and the many extra goodies that make this place special. Perfect for a small family of 3-4. It’s also wonderful that it’s pet friendly. Host communication was top notch! We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Bear Cub Cabin. The cabin was clean, well stocked with amenities and exactly as described. We enjoyed watching the fireflies at night while soaking in the hot tub after a day of kayaking and fishing off the dock! 10 out of 10!

The perfect cabin for an amazing getaway. I cannot say enough good things about the location, the cabin, and the host. This was the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in!! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and look forward to booking again!

Perfect little piece of heaven on Watauga Lake. The tiny house was quite frankly perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The view of the lake was great being high on the hill overlooking the lake. Having the option for renting a boat on property bonus!! The owner provided great communication throughout our stay when we had a question. The house was clean, well organized, and well stocked for our stay. Great place to detox from life and enjoy the outdoors. There is a Merchantile store and winery within 10 minutes of the property. We plan to stay again sometime because it was rainy and cool all weekend. Didn't get to use boat as much as we wanted.

We went to celebrate my sister‘s 40th birthday and we had the best time! The cabin is beautiful, clean, and all our needs were anticipated. They even left a birthday card for my sister! Highly recommend!

The Bear Cub Cabin was just PERFECT! Located in a quiet section of the lake, the cabin is tastefully furnished, very clean, and plenty of room. The host is very responsive, provided everything you need and even included all the fixings for S'mores at the fire pit. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay

The property was awesome and right on the lake. They have made awesome upgrades like adding the hotub and extendinf the patio outback for it. You have access to firewood for smores which is a major plus. My family and friends loved using the kayaks provided.

Beautiful Location

This property is so cute with the best view of the lake! Love the dock and enjoyed laying out in the lounge chairs and having the kayak and paddle board to use. The cabin is small but spent our time outside. Cabin very clean and welcoming! Host was amazing at communicating.
